Cambodian Oud

Today I received my bottle of this juice. I knew well what to expect, as I owned TF OW few years ago. But on the first application I understood that this is indeed different. OW opening is very unclear and only after few minutes the scent settles into a more recognisable profile. While Combodian Oud opens as a dryer, darker, but at the same time clearer scent. At first I thought that it will develop medicinal on my skin, but it changed to its own perfection immediately after going out to -5C cold outside. It became dustier and a bit sweeter and this way till the end. Though I cannot discern different ingredients in this perfume, I believe that it has less of them than OW. Probably only very experienced nose could tell if its only one ingredient as the scent brakedown shows. To summarise, Combodian Oud is calmer, softer, smaller and slower, but indeed, better fragrance than OW. My opinion, that you can't go wrong with this if you love OW. Just wait a bit till the dry down, as the scent won't progress in the same direction as it might seem from the beginning. Projection is medium, longevity good 6+ hours

This is closer to Carved Oud to my nose. Essentially, it’s Oud Wood, but instead of rosewood, you have cedar and qaiac wood, which comes off as cleaner, crisper, and tidier. Oud Wood has more depth due to the wider range of notes, and while Carved Oud starts off nicely, it ultimately becomes cloying and sweet once it dries down. To sum it up, Cambodian Oud is a bit more linear but offers a cleaner and less sweet take on Oud Wood. Performance is similar, so at this point, it’s really just a matter of personal preference. Its also cheaper.

A nice well balanced perfume. Har the notes of agear oud that give it a very nice scent. Strong and powerful. The longevity i great and prjektcion is good. You need to try it. It ́s a 10 of 10 for me!

I agree with the previous reviews, it is pretty much 90-95% TF Oud Wood. The longevity and projection are similar too, so there isn't much to say. I wish they were much bolder with this oud offering. 100ml is £113 whereas Tom Ford's Oud Wood retails for £240. Nothing more to say here.

The better one of the ouds in the Swedoft discovery set. Quite fresh oud, nothing funky about it. Quite linear scent with good longevity.

بعد از اسپری تا حدود 30 ثانیه بوی شدید الکل تمام چیزی هست که از عطر شنیده میشه و هیچ بوی دیگه ای ازش در نمیاد بعد از تموم شدن بوی شدید الکل؛عطر با رایحه ای آروماتیک،چوبی،انیمالیک شروع میشه که وجه چوبی عطر کمی حس بالزامیک داره و یک بوی گزنده و ادویه ای مثل عصاره‌ی چوب سدر غلیظ که با نُت های انیمالیک ترکیب شده باشه به مشام می‌رسه که یک بویی شبیه علوفه و کاه هم گاهی ازش می گرفتم تقریبا بعد از پنج دقیقه مسیر عطر مشخص میشه و تا 70 درصد میشه گفت تام فورد عود وود رو یادآور میشه بخش انیمالیک عطر از نیمه های داستان کم رنگ میشه و کاملا به حاشیه میره تا روایح چوبی یکه تاز میدان بشن مثل باقی عطرهای این خونه،بازسازی یک عطر معروف صورت گرفته و هم سو با عود وود،پرفورمنس جالب ای نداره و روی پوست من بیش از 2 ساعت ماندگاری موثر نداره تقریبا بعد از شکل گرفتن کلیت رایحه،تغییرات زیاد ای اتفاق نمی‌افته و با همون فرمون،سعی در بازسازی عود وود داره به نظرم بهار بهترین فصل استفاده از این عطره و سرمای زمستون و حتی پاییز اجازه‌ی باز شدن رایحه رو نمیده و نیاز به یک هوای معتدل داره تا زیبایی هاش پیدا بشه **************** scent:6.5/10 longevity:5/10 sillage:5/10 purchase value:2/10 ******** overall:4.6/10

Just a straight clone of Tom Ford Oud Wood, nothing more to add

What are you folks smoking when you get TF out of this? This has to be the most generic cheap "woody" scent out there. A wood scented surface cleaner would smell like this. 0 oud in here either. Save your money for something that is actually good.

Okay, again here another prove that the high price you pay for expensive perfume, it's not for the quality of the juice no no it's about the brand and the prestige of having it, of course the dopamine rush too. Now this perfume scream high quality ingredients with very competitive price tag, which I know many of reviewers below me they don't like!! I have tried TF many times, Im not fan of it because the cardamom fade quickly. And we all know what left in the dry down is Patchouli. This one is a clone but they perfect the blending here and I like this because cardamom definitely last longer. My advice Forget about oud wood TF, Cambodian Oud is better juice quality and value! Oh I forgot it has better packaging too.

Ignore those that say this is a Tom Ford clone, I think this is more refined. TF hits hard Swedoft creeps up on you and gives you a warm hug. Blended to perfection this a a smooth delicate woody experience. It's got no rough edges it's very smooth and at about half the price definitely give it a try. The presentation and packaging are great too, if you like a niche experience at a very good price point I recommend this house.

Do you wonder how this smells? Well if you have tried TF Oud Wood, this smells identical. More or less. They are so close that I would agree with HappyDays, this is a clone. But its A good fragrance, just no originality.

This is quite close to TF Oud Wood. But if you do a side by side comparison, they are noticeably different. I'm sticking to the original Oud Wood though.

No messing, it’s an Oud Wood clone, undisguised, blatant, it’s like a naturist saying “yep there you are, look at them”

It has this light airiness of Tom Ford Oud Wood. It’s an okay scent for me. Nothing groundbreaking.

Amazing logevity...2nd night, going strong!
