Amaani

The opening leans masculine with a very strong pine-like note. I actually really adore it: not bright and fresh like a Christmas tree, but smokey and dark like oils naturally pressed from bark and needles. It's unbelievably beautiful in my opinion, kind of dirty, kind of herbaly, really like walking into a forest covered in evening dew. The lavender also is really loud at first -which I think is why it leans masculine. There is warmth and coldness to it that really just makes for a very interesting fragrance. From there it morphs into more of a leathery, sweaty bar kind of fragrance that's almost boozy. Still, at that stage, there is something earthy/dirty about it. Not in the typical patchouli-hippie vibe, but something vastly more pleasant. I think I would prefer it on a man, but either way, it's really lovely and I'll absolutely have to get a bottle. 8/10

This is a really striking combination of smoky and herbal notes. Strong but smooth, and lasts a long time! As others mention, the opening is unpleasant (to me it has sort of a barnyard oud scent at the beginning that I dislike, but this does go away). This reminds me of Lengling’s Acqua Tempesta in its smoky aspect. Would be great to wear that with Amaani in my hair, though I’d run the risk of choking passersby (neither scent is for the faint of heart).

The opening is somewhat smelling like an unwashed ashtray. This will eventually go away, but make sure wearing this at least 30 minutes before going out. People might assume you are just a smoker otherwise. The dry-down is nice and dense. The leather notes combined with herbal notes are overall similar to expensive cigars in my opinion. Both amber and patchouli are not too sweet. The amber adds warmth while the patchouli balances the sweetness out and make it a bit green. Very mature but not in a way like "dated" or "out of touch." Classic, if makes sense. Definitely for night time. You'd like this if you prefer tobacco dominant fragrance. Not the same, but this reminds me of A*men Pure Havana in terms of the intense tobacco note. Let's add more of the tobacco like there is no tomorrow and subtract 90% of the sweetness furiously. Get them out of here. Who want that. And Here we are getting Amaani. That's what it feels like to me. Longevity is better than just moderate. Once I dubbed this on the abdomen before sleep and could still smell next morning. I've been wearing it right before the shower so that I can skip the horrible opening and enjoy the best part of this fragrance oil. Projection is moderate, but fragrance oil usually contains no alcohol and thus does not evaporate. Considering that, this one has relatively better projection. If the other are 2 meters away from me, that's enough for them to smell it.

This is a dark/woody/leathery/smoky masculine scent, but much more wearable than other scents of this type due to the saffron and raspberry and citrus top notes. I definitely like it, but it's not as delightful as Shaghaf Oud or Khateer so I rate it 4/5

After macerating for about 8 months, the sharper notes mellowed out leaving behind a citrusy, piney, deep fragrance. My wife says it smells like Tree Farm from B&BW but maybe less sweet haha. Regardless, she loves it and that's all that matters. :D

It’s a shame you can’t sample these before you buy them. However, if you want a sample of this CPO, find the nearest dumpster and take a big whiff during a hot summer day. That’s as close as you’re going to get to the smell.

This is exactly Attar Al Ghutra but oil version but give some of that trash vibe more than it should, I believe the thyme note is the fault here. Horrible.

It has a smoky horrible opening that mellows later. I could only distinguish amber amidst some herbal notes.
