Amber 01

Good performance. I've been spraying testers on my arms recently as I think the juice was rubbing off in my pockets when applied to my hands, and I wanted to give them a fair whack. This one projected for hours through the slieve of my shirt and thick wool jumper. Not miles but I had a scent bubble for sure and I'd get it a few times a day. It's quite sweet and I don't get the amber in spades. It's there but it's not like I've just picked some sap off a tree as a kid. I get no orange during the opening or at any point during the dry down. The floral notes make sense and the patchouli though it's a bouquet and my nose isn't delicate enough to pick them apart. Slightly linear. It doesn't completely transform at any stage, it does slightly. If you like the opening you'll likely like the dry down, it's just different which I think makes it pretty interesting to wear. This is slap bang in the middle unisex. Normally unisex fragrances annoy me because I think it's manufacturers trying to just make more sales by convincing women a scent is suitable for them too or vice versa. This one actually makes sense though. Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 Quality: 6/10 (for the price there are better frags out there)

Eough - I've had the sample for a year now, and it seems like the scent has turned quite a bit. It became very similar to Swiss Arabian Wajd, with a sharp underlying metallic note, and a sweetness which can only be described as an metallic rose-candied assault on the senses. I wish I enjoyed it still, but as Swiss Arabian scents are very strong and have a large projection, so it being anything other than perfectly pleasant quickly turns very offensive. Either way, I got offended, and I'd say if you can afford a rose perfume, perhaps look elsewhere - there are too many things wrong here. Forwarding my sample as I doubt I will ever wear it to the end, and I think life is too short and precious to have to suffer through bad perfume. I tried wearing it once more, but it feels very aggressive, choking and heavy. My teeth hurt from the sugar, and my lungs feel full of metal dust. I still love Monica roses, but I prefer them not drowned in metal.

In case you never smelled those, just imagine a red rose, it'll do. It gives off a wet bouquet vibe, with all the greenery and a tad of dirt involved. The heart then evolves into a more jammy rose (quite literally - rose jam) that's not too sweet. An absolutely wonderful, realistic floral that never goes too sweet or sour, projects like a beast and lasts forever. Evokes an image of a well mannered, humble and expensive serene rose bouquet. Very up my alley.

I rarely use any negative connotation to reviews, but this was so far off my taste I just need to clarify where I stand. It was way too patchouli heavy (I'd say there has to be ylang ylang even though it ain't listed) and feminine leaning for my taste. Who is this for ? In my opinion, someone above 45+ , that wants to reminisce perfumery of days gone by, and probably a lady. (someone in the comments used the word 'demure' and to me that's 10/10 accurate) It's got class to it, don't get me wrong, but I am glad I'm only testing this 3ml sample of it :)

I have never left a review in my life, and I have almost 500 bottles in my collection. I purchased this bottle on Mercari, I'm a fan of Swiss Arabian. I had high hopes. As SOON as I sprayed this in air, I got soooooooo mad lol. Understanding I need to test on skin, my nose did not lie to me. I let it dry down, I was soooooooo disappointed. To ME, it has that Mancera weird oud smell of the adhesive from a bandaid. It's a weird sterile smell and it's nauseating. I also love Manceras, but if you have smelled them especially the Aoud bottles, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. With the name being Amber, I was not expecting it to smell so close to Rose 01. I was also disappointed in that frag too, it got sent directly back to TikTok with Musk 07. Approach with caution, this is NOT blind but safe. This is for a very mature older woman who smokes clove cigarettes like a chimney. Hard pass 🤮🤢
