Attar Al Sheila

This is a gorgeous and intriguing perfume. I am wearing Attar Al Sheila today (68F) and it is a gorgeous, "dewdrop" cooling fragrance. Dewdrop is the word that came to mind instantly as I was not expecting this. Looking at the gorgeous bottle, I expected a deep, heavy fragrance but on the contrary, AAS is transparent, watery, powdery, floral perfume which is easy to wear and great for all seasons. There are still some warm notes which makes this suitable for cooler weather as well. There is still some middle eastern exotic aroma in this perfume but the leather is soft. I am used to very strong perfumes though. I'm assuming watery effect comes from the violet? This is unlike anything I have smelled before. The most prominent note on me, is violet. This is my second Swiss Arabian perfume and I am impressed. The longevity is (many) days and projection is moderate. I see more Swiss Arabian in my future. I just received Sehr Al Sheila as well. Will review after wearing but first impression is beautiful.

lovely layered with replica beach walk. its fresh and light compared to sehr al sheila. offers a gorgeous bouquet upon first spray but evolves into this weathered leather base with powdery, warm, intimate details which are an absolute delight to the nose. when i received it in the mail i sprayed it alone in the morning and i enjoyed smelling it throughout the morning and i sprayed it again at night with beach walk. they round each other out in a way that is like so self referential and special (the orange in beach walk complements the sandalwood in attar al sheila, the jasmines in either fragrance are also in conversation with one another, and the musk in beach walk just *gets* the leather in attar al sheila). i am really enjoying this surprisingly light and gorgeous fragrance!

This is a great perfume, it starts with a STRONG scent but gradually gets softer. I get the patchouli, vanilla and leather which turned out beautiful. Long lasting aroma. This works better on winter, IMO. I ❤ it !!! Attar Al Sheila is a tribute to the enigmatic traditions and the women of the Arabian land. The Sheila (veil) is an integral part of the Arab woman attire, which means purity, dignity and status. Top notes: violet blossom, honeysuckle, freesia. Middle notes: Magnolia, jasmin, iris, rose. Base notes: vanilla,Rosewood,Patchouli, Leather.

TO be honest as men i really love this perfume,it does not gave a hadache like many other woman perfumes,Attar Al Sheila is for that kind of woman that like to be elegant and wear propper dress for evening events...Beautiful blend and for sure it is very long lasting...Beautiful desing of bottle and very nice Luxury gift box... Longevity 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Projection 10/10 (powerfull) Price 7/10 ($190 NZD for 100ml)

There is something about this perfume I don't like. I agree that it is high quality and Swiss Arabian makes great perfumes, but this one is just not for me. Unisex for sure.
