Attar Mubakhar

Something about this oil is super addictive. It plays extremely well with warm sweet fragrances like Most Wanted, Stronger With You, Side Effect, Ani, etc. When used as a base layer, the slight smokiness, leather, and dried fruit accords make unisex fragrances lean more masculine on my skin. Also plays very well with rose or oud fragrances like Toy Boy, Ombré Nomade, Shaghaf Oud Aswad, or Mind Games Grandmaster It’s more than capable of standing on its own, but I tend to enjoy layering it more than any other fragrance in my collection. And in my opinion, this is where it separates itself from the pack. My first bottle is almost used up. Since the fragrance is such a great value for the price, I didn’t think twice about buying two replacement bottles. This stuff is strictly for the grown and sexy. So much so, that I think it can be worn anytime of the year and potentially any occasion. Especially if paired/layered with the right fragrance. This makes TF Tuscan Leather seem like childsplay! No seriously this is amazing! In fact to me TL smells terrible, but this is pure heaven, places me in a state that I can only describe as narcotic trance! I am a person who cannot stand aoud in perfumes, it makes me sick, but here it is so beautiful that you almost cannot tell if it's aoud or if it's really good leather. It's smoky, heavy, leathery and contains almost an incense kind of effect, just mind-blowing, extremely long lasting. I got a tiny sample of this from a swap, and the first time I tried it, I was a bit nauseated, so I just put it away. But, few days later I reached for that sample again, and after dabbing it on my wrist, I felt like something hit me in the head and knocked out with olfactory pleasure, yep exactly how I felt. Ever since, I've scraped till the last drop of this beautiful thing, and ordered me a bottle. Even my husband says it smells nice, and he hates heavy smoky fragrances ( he's into the light flower smells ). This is the first arabian attar I fell head over hills, it's absolutely gorgeous! EDIT: I finally received my bottle today! OMG it's just incredible. Be careful with dosage, cause it's strong, a little goes a long way and stays all day.

Received a 20ml bottle as part of a much larger order. The presentation itself is a masterpiece.... Such a striking, artistic and well crafted design.... Really a jewel to add to my collection. The scent itself is rich and well balanced....light, but at the same time very substantial . Smoky, sweet incense notes, done very well , with accords of exotic woods and spices. Unisex leaning “masculine” if this is an attribute for consideration. Swiss Arabian really delivers on this... Very pleased with the entirety of the experience...from the presentation down to the final lasting effects of the dry down. Oud Is present, but is not a major olfactory player, as far as my senses detect... Sweet Smoky incense co-mingled with accords of exotic wood, spices and dried fruits. Absolutely worth purchasing , and is a refreshing break from the done-to-death world of Western scents. The Verdict: Excellence

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect I could enjoy a smokey attar to the degree I enjoy this. It is blended to absolute perfect balance with the rest of the notes. So much so that I am taken to a place of complete peace and restfulness during the procession of this fragrance on my skin. One can not explain such experiences except that there is some kind of mesmerising drug infused in this attar that overcomes the mind, heart and soul with such a state of being, or perhaps it is just that it is a complete fit at this very moment of my fragrance journey. Either way I am rather taken back and in fact feel grateful for having been given the opportunity to experience this fragrance. I am completely and utterly lost for words.

This is Marlon Brando on his bike, with his leather jacket and cap, gazing audaciously straight ahead, not minding about anything else than the moment. Attar Mubakhar is, to my nose, very masculine, bold and dark, hidding its sensitivity deep inside it. The olibanum is very prominent, followed by sandalwood and agarwood. That all determin its identity as leathery. Patchuli and rose emerge after a while, living the citruses for the end. Vanilla is very faint, while I do not detect jasmine at all. A very unique perfum oil and a must have for me.

This is almost the oil version to armaf club de nuit intense man. This is a better version..much more complex..it has the same smokiness and lemony notes but a bit toned down, other then that it is a kind of its own. very butifull fragrance more manly in my opinion or on my skin. blended super nice. smoky fruty with a little bit of flowers ..it does project good at the first 4 hours then close to skin..and lives a very thick trail for 6 hour, longetivity 16 hours easily Very recommended..butifull smell.very high quality :) enjoy

OK.. I bought this one based on the notes.. I wanted an olibanum-doinant perfume... I wasn't at all disapointed.. This is a night fragrance, definetly not for warm weather.... It's strong, smokey, woody... I love it... If you like strong smells this is the one for you... My girlfriend likes it on me, my father told me "what is that stench?".. I personaly love it... Even though it is a strong smell, it has a discreet projection... Moreover, I managed to get almost 24h out of it.

to understand it thoroughly, it must be tried and tried again ... and finally you discover a sumptuous resin ... spectacular smoky ... the full-bodied liquid, is of superior class ... obviously it is intended for those who appreciate resins ... with western parameters, you could call it a niche perfume at an impossible price ... great work

Blind bought this based on the reviews and I'm glad I did! It smells divine and it's as good as all the previous reviewers mention. The bottle looks good from afar but feels cheap in the hand. Shame as it let's this elegant fragrance down. Amazing value for money.

As mentioned by most reviewers this is very leathery; but not a clean leather like velvet oud nor an animalistic leather like oud mood elixir. it's more like leather jardin from zara (it's has that luxurious leather smell that you associate with wealth and expensive leather goods), but to be honest I prefer leather jardin over this oil. First of all the oil form makes it more of a skin scent with intimate sillage so no good projection with this one (why bother wear a perfume that doesn't project?!). also, despite of the presence of olibanum , Attar mubakhar is less green in comparaison to leather garden and has a sweet dried fruits aroma that some people find too oriental or unrefined (think of dried plums or dates). The same can't be said about leather jardin because it's a samptuous, sofisticated, retro mix of leather and powdery green notes. to sum it up: Attar mubakhar is a leather perfume oil that smells of luxury, but because it is in oil form it doesn't project much. The other added note to leather in this perfume is sweet dried fruits. If you want something similar but less sweet and more refined try leather jardin from Zara. It's also a leather scent but with much projection (a very strong projection actually ,but you know ...) and is also better done, mossier and greener in comparaison.

I’ve had several of these over a 20 year period. Imagine an old wooden box in museum archive, but assume it’s a dry box not a damp one. Inside you find an old RAF or USAF uniform from wartime, wool and felt jacket. It’s dusty. This is what this attar smells like. Wearing it once, someone asked me if I’d been lighting incense/joss sticks, so who knows how it comes across to others!

Smells like crude and burnt wood. and a layer of synthetic smell. It smells like Cuoium Orto Parisi but Stonger more dense and concentrated. Very mature and reputable scent.

Smoky, a bit masculine but lays out beautifully. Develops its multiple levels of smell during hours. Definitely a strong perfume but not boring at all.

Very smoky! More masculine then feminine. Its def a love it or leave it kind of fragrance...Im not in love, but I am in like! :)

I wanted to be a fan of this one but I just don’t think it works for me. Upon opening up the bottle I was almost punched in the face with a very strong olibanum, sandalwood, and agarwood. Together they made a smokey leathery smell, which I normally like, but it smelled like the cow was burning 5 feet away from me it was so strong. Halfway through dry down it settled down a bit, and the sandalwood/vanilla combo started to come out more. It was delightful! The added smokiness to it made for a wonderful scent. When it dried down completely, the patchouli really overpowered everything else. If I smell hard enough, I can pick out a little bit of fruitiness, but the patchouli is so overwhelming for me. While it leans a little more to the masculine side, I think this is a great unisex perfume, but unfortunately it’s just not for me. I’m very picky about patchouli and smokey scents, so I personally give this a 4/10. It would be good for a cold night out because the warmth of this scent would counteract the weather. From far away this smells a lot better to me, but up close it’s just too strong. If you’re a smokey, leathery, or patchouli lover, I definitely encourage you to try though!

Purchased it expecting a smoky oudy bakhoor mukhallat but performance was so weak , pitifully weak, that I thought I purchased a defective bottle. Repurchased another bottle and still: projection almost zero, sillage almost zero, no command of scent when applied on body. But when smothered and over-applied and sniffed up close, the smell was pretty decent. And non offensive. So, if you are a veteran of middle eastern fragrances it will not come off as exceptional, but for first timers, it may impress. Would definitely have been a keeper had it been of higher performance and quality. . Swiss Arabian oils are not that impressive, in my opinion. I own Swiss’s Mukhallat Malaki, Attar Mubakhar, Dehn El Ood Mubakhar, Dehn El Ood Mubarak and others. Will definitely see to get rid of this. A big disappointment. 6/10

Smoky oud that smells like prunes to me. The smoke and the heaviness with the oud combine with the tartness of the top note in a really unpleasant way for me. There's a bit of sweetness there, but the smoke drags it down from becoming fruity, so it remains a slightly sweet, very smoky prune. It's not particularly woody, but the underlying vanilla note does give it an interesting depth. I speak of it negatively, but if you like that kind of rich smokiness layered over a dried fruit body and an oud base, this might work for you! It's certainly complex and a high quality blend and stands out from usual oud+rose combos (I don't detect any florals here myself).

I was expecting this to be a smoky, transcendent masterpiece as others have claimed. Well, I've had it on my skin for about three hours now, and it smells of a leather jacket caught on fire, mixed with a lot of plastic. In other words, it smells to my nose like a Harley Davidson Ken doll that accidentally found its way into a bonfire. I'm glad other people can appreciate it, as I can see from the rave reviews. I don't want to seem like a "hater", but unfortunately, on my skin this one is a sharp, synthetic disaster.

This smells exactly like Oudh Al Anfar’s ‘Oud Khalifa’ or ‘Oud Salab’. Years ago, I blind-bought both pocket size fragrances (which is why I’m not sure which one this smells like, I think they were both very similar.) The sweet smoky incense with exotic wood, spices and dried fruits, quite quickly, made me feel nauseous. I gave it to my delighted mother-in-law and she loved it. But every time she wore it around me, I felt sick again. This Attar Mubakhar is EXACTLY the same scent. It just so synthetically sweet with no refinement. Attar Mubakhar = sweet smoky dried fruits that turn my stomach. I’ve washed it off twice now and I’m still getting a sickly sweet graveyard incense powering through. FML

This one really doesn't work for me, it's smoky with bergamot and orange. It's hard to describe why but it ends up smelling almost food-like in a bad way, like combining the oud which can be on the sweaty side with the fruits - I scrubbed this one off
