Dharwah

This one was a very surprising addition for me. I bought it two years ago, and at that time wasn't as familiar with oud notes as I am now. My unevolved nose was pretty much only able to pick up something that reminded me of black rubber, almost a kin to walking through the tire section in an automotive shop. I've matured since then and now really have grown to love this perfume. It's smokey, dark, seductive, and unavoidable. The rubber tire smell has changed for me. I now associate this smell with a very dark vetiver. Earthy, pitchy, and tar-like in nature. The raspberries are juicy, and have a way of rounding out and uplifting the whole composition. This is definitely a rose and oud dominant fragrance. It's rich, blankets the wearer, all while creating an air of mystery. The oud here is more on the leathery side. Not a soft suede, but a mix between vinyl, and the new leather interior of a car. It's a strange association, but that's what I get. This perceived leather note lends an added a layer of opulence. I would definitely suggest this to be worn in the colder months as it would likely become entirely overbearing in the heat. I'd also caution against over- spraying. This has a pretty epic sillage, and can take overtake a room. I honestly don't feel this to be for younger people. This feels more in 30-40+ range. Completely unisex and somewhat daring. Swiss Arabian has been pretty successful in their offerings. I'm happy to have given this another try. One of the more beautiful scents I own. Rose and oud, mixed with a fruit of some kind (I didn't detect the pear but there is certainly something fruity here). It is a monster fragrance, enveloping you, your surroundings, your world like a cloud of warmth and beauty. If a man feels less than confident with himself, spray this on and step out into the world knowing that you are beautiful in everyway. It dries down into a smoky, sweet concoction that lasts for multiple hours and possibly into the next morning. It's that strong. I save it for special occasions, as a scent this precious deserves the grand stage in the more important events of our lives. Great job, Swiss Arabian.
