From the notes mentioned above you might get the feeling that this is a more summery fragrance. It is not!! It is a sophisticated loxorious oriental frag that has a very stylish Arabian vibe. Definitely not for everyone and definitely not a blind buy!! spray it on and give it 10 minutes to develop. it'll give you a feeling that you are an arabian prince. this definitely limits its versatility for very formal usage. not a drop of sweet in there, nothing fresh either. At the beginning the cardamom is masking the rest of the notes, the incense and the cinnamon will start to appear after at least 30 - 40 minutes. this is definitely a class of its own!!! Edit: talk about longevity, 24 hrs and I still can smell it on me!!!

A palmolive bar soap in a bottle. Clean,soapy,fresh.all notes are equilibrate.8/10 Very good performance.

Just got full bottles of Edge and Edge Intense: First of all, they are both VERY different scents. Edge Intense is not intense version of Edge. Edge is simply Drakkar Noir with harsh menthol (not mint or peppermint) opening. That’s it. At first it smells literally like a cleaning product, chemical, like a bug spray. But it quickly turns into this Drakkar Noir-ish scent, just more dusty and i smell something like fresh rose leaves in the background. Longevity is quite good for initial test. One spray to my inner wrist and it stick very well, been 4 hours and i can still smell, but expect low sillage and projection. UPDATE: Moving review of Edge Intense to its respective page now that it's added into database.

Smelled this over the counter along with its brother Edge Intense and all I can say is it's the most potent bathing soap in alcohol. It's also the most "western" fragrance of Swiss Arabian western line of scents. Some noses love the scent of fresh-from-the-bath smell while others do not. I like this type of smell. 7.9/10

2ml sample sprayed on inside of elbow: Starts off fresh minty lavender that dries down very quickly to soap and white musk. Edge for men is basically Palmolive bar soap in a fragrance, nothing special at all. Longevity is 8+ hours on my skin, projection weak and sillage even more so. If you have a tiny collection and strapped for cash, get this as your clean, soapy, freshie. Recommend: MEH Rating: 3/5

Smells like a vintage fragrance I once owned though I can't quite put my finger on which one. It is a great fragrance though and the bottle design is absolutely gorgeous. Projectivity and sillage are both decent although it's not a monster which is a great shame for a Swiss Arabian brand.

Like the rest of the Edge for men collection, this is a generic blue fragrance. This one comes with a spice kick from the cinnamon and maybe the mint as well. Overall Edge Intense is the best of the three but none of them are really worth buying a full bottle of

It's like someone dissolved an Irish Spring bar into some very astringent citron + lime juice. That is not an endorsement.

Do not buy this. It smells like air freshener. it is in no way good or worth it. Not even for that price. Go get a bottle of air freshener from your local market for 3$. This just isnt it. This is my first Swiss arabian fragrance and I'm hugely let down. Disappointing. Terrible. Projection: 4/10 Silage: 3/10 Price: 6/10 Overall is 4/10 imo. Junk.

I didn’t know the notes or what it was going to be. I just instantly knew I was smelling Lomani style DNA. The best thing about Lomani is the opening which lasts 30-45min top then unfortunately dries down into Drakkar and disappears by hour two. So this can be a win for you if you always wanted a Lomani opening to last 2-3 hours then dry down to woodsy barbershop scent with fresh floral background. And if your not familiar with Lomani, just think a clean herbal green, but better blended and multi-faceted.

I'd like to get this one. I have Edge Intense which unfortunately is not listed on Fragrantica but it's an incredibly fruity pineapple Aventus-like fragrance. I don't own Creed Aventus but SA Edge Man Intense to me is like my Armaf CDNIM without the smokiness & birch notes, very natural smelling like a fruit (mainly pineapple) smoothie.

Trephine, I tried out Edge Intense and it is indeed a fruity version of Aventus without the smoky birch. But the projection and longevity was dismal man... Edge on the other hand is pure and simple the best fragrance replica of a fresh scented soap. Palmolive comes to mind, soap and endless oodles of soap.....

It really reminds me and close to sheikh by Al haramain but a bit green, in the same realm of vermeil the brown, good quality, nice soapy specially at the top notes and aromatic.

TO me this one is OK perfume nothing more than that,but it will be out of my collection,because the drydown is something like old spice soap in bathroom...

Gorgeous and didn’t turn metallic like paco pour homme. Excellent performance
