Edge Intense

After weeks of testing this scent in their shop in Dubai I finally decided to buy a bottle. The drydown smells unique from the rest of my collection and it was because of this fresh from shower, geranium-black currant-apple accord that I learned to love this scent. Not too sweet as aquatics and woody aromatics, not citrusy like most pour homme sporties, the opening sometimes gives hint of pineapple note but a very tiny trace of it. Because of this trace of pineapple note other noses compare this to CA but its far from being a clone of any perfume that I know. A&F Fierce is the closest but I am reaching here, and probably VC&A in New York like most of reviewers attest here. The subdued sweetness remind me of Geparlys Equivoque pour homme. For me this is a different beast because of strong projection and sillage. I love the projection of fresh, almost soapy vibe when I sprayed this on my clothes. Longevity may be average but the drydown is good. Comparing this scents longevity to popular scents in the market, this still has a good shot of beating them. This is simply a keeper for me and now a new favorite. Killer projection and killer drydown. I can imagine John Wick wearing this scent in the darkest night to lure his hunters and bring them down one by one... This is my second favorite Swiss Arabian scent after Casablanca. After having owned this one for roughly a year I've learned that less is definitely more. I had been toying with the idea of selling it on as I often found it a bit too sharp and cloying. However I found going light on the sprays really brings out the best in Edge Man Intense, the dry down is quite exceptional, very alluring, I could see this getting some hype. At first I could see the Aventus et al comparisons but I think that's really due to several notes they share and they certainly share a similar vibe if not the same smell. I can see the comparisons to Montblanc Legend Intense more though now but this one isn't as sweet and the apple note is more subdued, pineapple is more noticeable imo (hence Aventus comparisons). The geranium however is beastly so you have to like that note (which I do) and the ginger gives it a real spicy kick. High quality scent & presentation, highly recommended.

Update 24/04/2020 This is an extremely good fragrance which at the time I purchased it, was selling for less than 15€/100ml! I've been wearing this a fair bit recently and like I stated before, at first it seemed a bit too 'Intense' for warm weather but less is more with this one, it helps to apply further away from the face too. A superbly invigorating and dynamic fresh-spicy-fruity cocktail of ginger, pineapple, citrus & geranium! Very 'Western' designer smelling (as opposed to Middle Eastern) this one is most definitely worth checking out, it may not re-write the fragrance history books but this is a solid, above average scent in my book! Edit: for some reason this scent evokes images warm weather sports for me rafting or kayaking on a sunny spring day!

Edge Intense is basically PDM Percival plus Goldfield and Banks Pacific Rock Moss, then add a clean shower gel soap vibe. How it smells Sweet aquatic freshness like Pacific Rock Moss Citrusy punch and sporty vibe like Percival or Fierce Overall: fresh, citrusy, soapy, just out the shower Performance Solid for a fresh scent Lasts about 6 to 8 hours Projects well for the first 2 to 3 hours When to wear Anywhere. Gym, work, errands, going out. It is a true dumb reach. Rating 7.3 out of 10 Not groundbreaking, but consistently smells good and can pull compliments. P.S - I see a lot of people comparing it to Fierce and Aventus. It’s closer to Fierce. Aventus has more pineapple Smokey and this is fresh and sporty. It is 70% Fierce/Percival DNA.

This has become one of those fragrances I'll look to when I don't know what to wear, especially during the spring & summer but not exclusively. It truly does get good reactions from people and even when I think it's not all that projecting, it is indeed. I'm surprised Edge Man Intense seems to rarely get mentioned by Youtube reviewers, especially considering the versatility and quality to price ratio of this fragrance (and the fact there's pineapple ;) ). Nothing revolutionary but highly worth checking out for anyone who likes fresh-fruity-spicy and uncomplicated, likeable, easy-to-wear scents.

Almost finished my bottle, I'd love to find something similar for the price I originally paid (under 20 euros). It may not be revolutionary but it's so versatile and is great for spring and warmer autumn days. The dry down is really pleasant, I like the opening too but some noses may find it a bit astringent or sharp due to the ginger and citrus. Cool bottle too, although over the years the silver plastic around the sprayer has begun to flake (it's been a while though!).

This is a spicy fresh-fruity scent, I'm not sure if it's an intentional clone of anything (maybe) but to me it smells like a mixture of several, it smells familiar but it's not not boring at all. Bright ginger, citrus, pineapple and geranium, it does pack a punch at first but on me dies down a lot after the first few hours. Decent projection & sillage with average lasting power for me. Nice bottle.

Nothing to do with Aventus. AF Fierce mixed with fruity fresh shower gel. I actually really like it :) 8.5/10

All due respect to whoever mentions Aventus, this has nothing to do with Aventus or anything like it. Edge Intense is almost direct family member of Van Cleef & Arpels In New York! I mean very close, and similar performing (or better) one. The only slight difference is VC&A In New York opens with crisp citruses and Nivea hand-cream note in the background and Edge Intense opens more, apple-ish, like the aromachemical - Fructone and ginger. After 5 mins can hardly be differentiated in a blind test against VC&A In New York. And knowing VC&A In New York is in same ballpark with more famous fragrances, below list will give you a solid idea on what you can expect from Edge Intense: - A&F Fierce - A&F Fierce Confidence - Versace Dylan Blue - Mont Blanc Legend Intense (I wonder if Edge Intense name has anything to do, quite similar :)) Longevity seems okay, on skin 4 hours in, turns to skin scent, very light. On clothes it stays very long, and actually i liked it much more after a day or two on my jackets or hoodies. Good spring/summer frag. All in all a great replacement to your "generic male perfume" spot in the collection because Edge Intense only costs 25 euros and beats MANY other famous crowd pleasers.

This is literally a shower gel fragrance. No spice just fresh clean inoffensive soap. I was really surprised when I sprayed this on, I immediately thought of my Dove for men soap bars, and not another “similar” fragrance in the same genre, that is not the direction my head takes when I try a new scent normally. Cost wise I paid 40 bucks Canadian, which is too much unfortunately. Longevity is fair, as is the projection, but I would lean towards other shower gel fragrances over this (looking at you Jaguar Pace) for the price. Bottle is interesting, looks youthful, which is who this will appeal to most. Spring and Summer orientation for day wear, safe scent that will not offend, but not very interesting either.

This is a great, fresh, "shower-gel" scent. The geranium is even more prominent than I was expecting, but it smells excellent. I also get quite a bit of the apple. I can see why some people would be reminded of Aventus, as it does have a similar vibe to it, but it is far far from being a clone. The performance is also excellent. It's definitely a hidden gem and I plan on getting a backup at some point.

Classic modern blue scent, almost as if Aventus and YSL Y EDP had a baby. That being said it’s actually a really good scent, just not reminiscent of any of the above-mentioned perfumes. Great fruity notes and dries down to your typical blue, out-the-shower scent. Longevity is good (6+ hours on my skin), average projection and sillage. Recommend: BUY Rating: 4/5

Smells fresh and clean, almost reminds me of fresh cut grass and shower gel. It Doesn't have that great longevity, lasts around 4-5 hours but that may just be for me. Projection is good and I get lots of compliments. For the price it's a really solid fragrance, love the smell, a strong 8/10 for me.

Just smells like your average, run of mill aquatic/shower gel fragrance. Nothing more, nothing less. It's clean, fresh, easy to wear and won't offend absolutely anyone

#1057 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is another Aventus wannabe. Pretty much the same thing you get from Lattafa Rave Now, Afnan Supemacy Silver, Swiss Arabian Intense Pride, Carrera Jeans 700, Tonino Lamboghini Invincible, all doing the same take with varying quality. It's likeable, inoffensive in any setting, performs better than Supremacy Silver, Rave Now, much better than the Carrera and Lamborghini. A nice low-priced freshie. Warm weather day wear. I blind bought this and given the price it's fine.

The scent of Edge Intense reminds me very much of Mont Blanc Legend Intense, almost candy like, but the opening is different. The Creed Aventus comparison is a far stretch to me. I suppose I can use this in the summer, if it doesn't give me a candy like headache. Update; I don't get Mont Blanc Legend Intense anymore. It seems to have matured and is less candy like. It's quiet nice. Update; This is perfect for hot weather.

This smells a lot like Burberry Men but a little more towards the blue showergel side of things, I'd say this is closer to Bleu de Chanel than it is to Aventus. Certainly clean and it's a well-priced blue fragrance with good performance, but there are so many blue fragrances and overall this one does not stand out

First of all, this does NOT smell like Fierce and DEFINITELY DOES NOT SMELL LIKE AVENTUS! The pineapple note isn't even that pronounced so I have no clue where those votes are coming from. What I do with are the comments calling it a synthetic shower gel type of scent. It smells like your typical body wash with every note turned up to 11. The opening is quite sharp with lots of apple but it softens up a bit after a while and becomes pleasant. Unfortunately there is that one annoying synthetic note at the base (or maybe it's a fixative or some other ingredient) that I just cannot stand. I've also found it in Robert Cavalli Silver Essence, Mercedes-Benz Man, ADG Absolu, and Rochas L'Homme. Total deal-breaker for me. But the rest of the fragrance is something I could see an undergrad college student rocking to morning classes. Not that impressive IMO.

I dont't understand this. It smells nothing like Aventus as it is described in many places on internet. It is completely different smell. I bought it on notino's Polish site. And I am not a person who says "it dos'nt smell like aventus at all" on every aventus clone. This, Swiss Arabian Edge Intense for men is clone of In New York of Van Cleef & Arpels.

does not smell like fierce, aventus, or van cleef & arpels in new york. This smells like an axe body spray but much stronger. if you are a teenager you might like this

This smell so normal. Nothing special. But if you didn't know what fragrance to wear that day, just wear this.

Smells familiar but not exactly like anything I can compare it to just your classic modern blue scent

Smells like shower gel. It’s pleasant enough simple. Smells like dove extra fresh deodorant.
