Ghazi Oud

The opening starts with a nearly floral scent, then evolves into an incensy spicy and slightly leathery scent, then finally a combination of musk and amber with overall ambery sweetness. A simple note pyramid, but nicely blended with the notes of Frankincense and Oud. It reminds me a lot of Velvet Oud by Lataffa, the dry down of both have very siimilar vibes although Ghazi comes in more sweeter while velvet oud comes in more citrusy. Longevity is OK at 6 to 8 hours on skin, and nearly 12 - 24 hours on clothes if over sprayed. It's not offensive at all, suitable all year round, and you can easily overspray. With the price, it's a nice purchase. My bottle is the old trapezoidal shaped one with the big blue cap.

Elegance / authority in a bottle, for a very fair price. Oud, amber, smoke, leather perfectly balanced. In the middle on designer and oriental fragrances. Ideal for a formal work meeting (suit and tie), or any occasion where is important to project discrete leadership. Is not screaming "i'm the boss and everybody shut up", is more "i'm the leader, i'm in charge, i'm listening before make my decision". Projection and duration is moderate (1.5hr / 6hr). For the price (less than $40) I found it highly recommended. Probably is going to be discontinued soon, because I can not see it as often as 1-2 years ago.

Smokey, incense and oud. You can clearly pick out the notes in this juice. I wouldn't say it's bad quality just not mass appealing. You really have to like incense and smokey juices to enjoy this particular scent. Overall it is a 7 out of 10 for me. Longevity and projection are above average for sure. THIS IS A TRY BEFORE YOU BUY IMO.

@a.emahdy is completely correct, this reminds me of Velvet Oud as well. I would say there is less of an overt leather smell though. This really smells nothing like the notes listed here. The "official" note pyramid is missing some things, as the box lists linalool (citrus/herbal), limonene (citrus), and methyl-2-octynoate (violet) I was very pleased to find this for $12 so I decided to take the gamble.

Smells more like leather oud than incense oud on my skin, not a fan. Decent longevity and projection on my skin ( 8 hours and moderate to large projection). I don't know if it's a reformulation since this, Ghazi and Imperial Arabia now comes in the same bottle as Kenzy and Khateer

This is so weak, don't even consider wasting your money. Maybe I'm anosmic to it or something but even after overspraying I get almost nothing. A faint herbal smokey fragrance but I can barely detect it. This one's going back to FragranceX.

This occupies a similar niche to Shaghaf Oud Abyad, being a smoky oud amber fragrance. But I feel that Shaghaf Oud Abyad does it better, with its dry smoke, plant resins, and oregano. In contrast this Ghazi Oud smells a lot wetter and less incense-like. The smoky but wet/herbal/balsamic combination is strange and I can't say I like it

A hidden gem indeed!! This is a slightly less caverbous Clive Christian 'C' - deep, buttery leather. Much, much smoother use of the isoquinoline leather note than in TF ombre leather or TFTL that normally I find revolting but here is it so well balanced and buttery. Smooth. Expensive-smelling, slightly powdery, unisex, expensive leather. A very happy blind buy.
