Hayaam

I purchased the Love collection discovery set (6 samples) and I ranked Hayaam as No. 5 (descending order to favourites). Let me tell you why. The opening to Hayaam is strong, rather sharp and quite animalic- an unrefined, sour lemon, darling cloves and a strong leather note. But as Hayaam dried down, the leather note became more pronounced, woody notes and amber (slightly) began to make their appearance. There is something 'clean' yet animalic about Hayaam. I would love to smell this on a man, however it came in 5th place because it does not do well with me. It comes off as a dirty kind of wood-leather combination. If Hayaam had floral notes- lily of the valley or carnation maybe, it would be more wearable for me. I enjoy sniffing this fragrance on paper, but not on my skin. Hayaam is unisex, but I feel it leans more masculine. I think this perfume will do well in any season (spray lightly in summer). It oozes quality and my mind pictures a self-assured (not arrogant) man wearing gemstone cufflinks, putting this on as a daytime fragrance. I feel bad for ranking it 5th when I adore it so. The latter end of the dry down is truly nose catching.

Lemon/citrus with woody notes..light clovey note and suede/leather...ambery Very "different" IMO. During the wearing...the leathery part shows up more..and the lemon/clove goes underneath....with just enough touchs of woodsy blending in. I am enjoying this. The bottle is....stunning !!! Tested from sample. Possible FB worthy !!!

This is just amazing. Soft leather and a creamy amber with some spices and lemon. There's a green nuance too. The animalic facet of the scent gives the perfect touch of dirtiness creating a modern masculine imprint. Addictive af. It's so good!

Smells like a generic middle eastern fragrance but done with high quality ingredients, so it's not offensive but rather gives a posh feel.

My husband and I are obsessed with this scent! Something in this one really sparkles on skin rather than a paper test strip - maybe the animalic notes. On my husband especially, it becomes sweeter, and the Amber and Tonka notes shine more. It really is a masterpiece. This one and Ishq are our favorites from the Waaw collection. They are just so beautifully blended and feel elevated. The price for the quality is unbelievable.

I'd describe this as Fadeitak after dark - compared to Fadeitak it's grittier and more animalic, generally more extreme. Some sniffs are bad because of this, the clove spice and leather can be overpowering. But others are very attractive and let the animalic side shine. Overall I give this 4/5 whereas I give 5/5 to Fadeitak because it's consistently good all the way through. But in its good moments this smells better

The scent of the Turkish Hamam, a public steam bath. This scent to me for some reason, just speaks of Turkiye. It might seem a generic middle eastern scent to some at first sniff, but non, it has certain subtle nuances, which elevate it to the realms of a niche varied scent. Starts off with some citrus freshness, aided by the spicy undertones of cloves, leather, tonka and amber form the base of the scent, which adds wonders to the performance. This is not a fresh scent, but in layman's terms smells like a powdery, spicy, leather, somewhat sweet, fragrance. I feel it is worthwhile having this in your collection, as I do not find it resembling or cloning any other in my fraglife experience. All seasonal scent? Yes an allrounder of sorts and quite equally usable for day or evening wear. Unisex? Masculine Blind buy worthy? I would suggest sampling first Performance? Excellent, Longevity, more than 8 hours and even longer on clothes, with good projection and silage.

Opens with a citrus scent which is carried with a nice spice from base notes, can definitely smell the leather and tonka. Longevity and performance is good, leaves a trail wherever you walk. Not as synthetic as some other cheaper middle eastern options and gives off a 'rich' smell. Do not need to spray a lot of this as it is quite strong on my skin especially the leather and woody notes. After a few hours it does dry down to a bit more sweeter however the base spicy notes still shine through.
