Kashkha by Swiss Arabian starts with fruity spicy with top notes of Bergamot, Apple and Cinnamon followed by the spicy woody middle notes of Agarwood and Saffron. The base notes are musky woody notes of Musk, Cedar & Amber. It Starts with Fruity Spicy and Reminds of Hint of Rose for 30 mins though Rose is not in Notes its the mix of Bergomont, Apple & Cinnamon that gives this smell then Oud plays a role till Amber comes Picture in the End. This perfume comes in oil & spray version and is very strong so you only need to use a very small drop or 2 - 4 spras max so it will last a very long time. Although its marketed as Uni Sex i think it Bit feminine, though i wear it once in a while. This perfume is Compliment Getter. All Notes are Perfectly Blended & One of Bread Winner for Swiss Arabian Perfumes. Longevity & Projection is Excellent. All Season Wear. Nice Bottle & Presentation. My Rating is 4.0 out of 5

I didnt like this one at the beginning because of a certain note I didn't realise, although now I appreciate the perfume more. This unusual note is the tagetes or marigold. It smells very fresh like freshly cut petal, the flower itself has a wild floral scent, very different to rose or jasmin which are more domestic in some sense, but this flower is more wild. There's heavy saffron, which stays for long time. Apple note is moderate, my old eros had much more apple than this one. There's a nice blend of woods and amber too. It's different to others, not as tamed or predictable, but still retains the DNA of arabic perfumes. I am wearing lattafa classic on the other arm, which is far more sweeter than kashkha. I can see myself wearing it, but maybe adding a touch of oud or sandal for a masculine effect. Huge sillage and longevity, if this was a French house it will be triple this price.

One of my favourite florals among Arabic attars. Tagetes here are fab, incredibly velvety and natural, remind me of long walks in the park, when that dense morning fog is rolling in among the trees, multicoloured leaves under your feet, that very special aromas of late September all around, so peaceful attar with no drama, when in fresh air you can distinguish smell of every little something below your head. Interesting that it is created in a country with no forest fogs and rains, but deserts, sand dunes and hot sun. Kashkha is "Bridges Of Madison County" by atmosphere, - rustic, mature, passionate, it is farm at Iowa, garden with pumpkins and falling apples, rows of marigolds and golden sun.

Actually it is one of my favourite oriental fragrances. I bought it in Dubai last summer... Wonderful and absolutely unisex. I have the perfume oil which lasts forever on my skin.. So two-three DROPS on both the wrists are enough. As other reviewers said before, in this fragrance there is a strong and very creamy rose surprisingly not listed in the pyramid. The aoud is loud and hypnotic. Very unique. Very famous in Middle East. Sadly, it's very difficult to find in Western Countries. Certainly a masterpiece for aoud lovers. 10/10

I have first smelled this back in 2006 off of an Omanian Lady. She was such a classy woman. This scent is an authentic Oud gem. Brings a lot of memories. Love it to death. Both Longevity and Sillage are infinite. Presentation is just mind blowing. This is my ultimate gift for anyone whom I really cherish a lot. Worth every penny. Go Buy it.

This is a solid like from me and as far as budget Arabians go, you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s the most wearable and non-offensive everyday scent. It sits between Night Dreams by Al Haramain with its sandalwood wearability (minus the metallic note) and Al Haramain’s Maze (oil version) as it shares a similar aromatic, musky, woody and fresh-spicy but also soothing wearability. It reminds me of the Rituals shower gel called Serendipity. I’ve just had a shower and I’m wearing it again before I sleep. I’m getting the most beautiful clove and marigold (tagetes) combo. It’s sweet-herbaceous with a powerful green-apple undertone. Yes there’s that clinical Arabian saffron/oud metallic note, but it’s softened here against the sandalwood. Just when I know the musk, amber and sandalwood are on their way I’m drifting off to sleep... I’m starting to love this. Update: it’s lovely. The first half hour brings a slight incense element, but then it’s a beautiful amber honeycomb. It’s at its best at the 4 hour mark, then becomes a skin scent.

I had originally bought Musk Malaki in the oil, as I'm a huge musk fan and add it to my unscented body lotion. I also am a fan of Arabian scents, so I decided to branch out and get another oil to try blindly. This one is a whole different animal. I've had it on for about an hour, so I can't speak to the skin scent aspect, but right now I guess it's beginning to dry down. At first it is bright and complex with a strong fresh apple powder sandalwood smell, and the powder aspect gives a little bit of old lady, but not too too much. Now I'm getting more saffron, leather, and wood as it's calming down. Very interesting. Not going to add this one to my body lotion...with this, less is better.

This smells mostly citrusy and greensy on me (I have the oil version) with an ambiguous blend of musky notes underneath. I like it except for a very, very bitter high note in it...like the white parts of a lemon or lime rind. ....update: it’s a cheap soap and lime-peel-whites (yes it’s that bitter) smell plus an ambiguous salty, mossy smell underneath. I think the soapiness is the “rose” idea and the salty moss is supposed to be woodsy/oud? Very bitter and sharp. It’s got that overly strong projection that only artificial scents have. I get a headache. Such a heavy pretty bottle but for what? I’ve never tried the spray version but not interested.

Very good, this reminds me a lot of haneen, both have a very similarly oriental feel I guess it's the oud/amber/woodsy but floral. Beautiful bottle! Also reminds me of rasheequa (also by swiss arabian)

I'm back a couple hours later as it has settled into the skin...the complexity has worn off and now it's a fresh almost soapy skin scent. I get light sandalwood, vetiver, and amber. Very nice.

It's a very strong perfum I can only wear it during winters , it's a very unique masculine n feminine perfume and a tiny spray is more then enough last 7 hours .

When I frist tried this beautiful fragrance I admit I was not ready to fully appreciate it + I think I preferred the more traditional/conventional rose + oud combo types of fragrances that time. However, I realized that I think on this fragrance more and more often so I tried it again a few months later and this time I can't get enough of it! My skin is not a fragrance absorber and usually I spray only 1-3 sprays for a whole day but I enjoy this fragrance so much that I spray and reapply several times during the day - and noone is compalining.... maybe the new batches are weaker? Anyway, this edp is outstanding, it is crisp and fresh, especially at the beginning,but warm, sensual and mysterious at the same time, and gets warmer and woodsier as it dries down. This is my one and only fragrance in my tiny wardrobe that has apple among the notes because this note usually gets sour on my skin which I strongly dislike but here it only adds the fresh and crisp feeling without overpowering the composition. Reading the notes one could think that the apple and cinnamon combo would make a gourmand(ish) impression but it really doesn't. Actually this fragrance has so many notes that I diskile elswhere: like apples, cinnamon, tagetes, cloves, but here they create a perfect, balanced and absolutely unique composition that is just lovely and can't be compared to anything else. I already ordered the CPO version which I have only vague memories of, but as fa as aI remember the spray is more feminine, and it's brighter while the oil is more unisex (still leaning feminine but I can easily imagine a man wearing the oil - not so much the spray) and deeper, darker. They must be gorgeous layered with eachother. For now, I found my new signature:)

The oil. I know I have a newish bottle because the shape has flipped and is now a lidded urn, but keeps the leafy filigree. A word about that. When you backlight the bottle, you discover the perfume is in gold frosted translucent glass. The effect shifts from ersatz Arabian splendor, to something really subtle, mysterious and almost splendid. Meanwhile, Kashkha is a thoroughly enjoyable upbeat happy kind of oriental. Soapy or aldehydic notes are here, lifting everything away from deep, syrupy, shadowy, and smoky attars. The high-mid vibration never tamps down on me. I'm a guy and wear this on arm hair and leg hair - sorry for the visual - and I am sure this wear influences the projection and the blend itself. I paid only 10 bucks, perhaps mistaken pricing. Kashkha is high value at 10, good value at 25, so you can wear as much as you dare.

I love their elaborate bottles, but most of the time the juice doesn't equal the beauty of the packaging to me. This is another such. It smells like a basic woody rose attar to me and I don't really get the nuances at all.

dipping into the Arabian perfumes for a change, wonderful summer scent....Really meant to be worn in hot weather. Wonderful floral (definitely rose) oriental with green notes on a musky woody base. Love it. :)

Probably the best from the house. Classical Arabian oriental smell. Synthetic? Indeed! Pleasant? Very much! Spicy slightly oudy very sweet oriental the timeless smell of Arabian suk.

One of my favourite oud fragrances so far. Although it has oud as main note it is reminiscent of vintage western perfumes due to the presence of tagetes and sandalwood.

Oudy floral spicy composition. Nice creation with lot of depth and good performance. I found it similar to Kawthar from the same brand. very close
