SWISS ARABIAN KENZY: #SOTD #Kenzy again for the second day straight from the fragrance house #SwissArabian. I didn’t fall in love with the first whiff so I wanted to see if this grows on me. #Presentation: The same bottle as #Raaqi which I reviewed the other day. Solid glass bottle with low quality chrome neck and cap with finger print magnet. The cap is always a hassle to lock the bottle. But for the price we offer its kinda ok as it costs around 60SAR/1000INR approx. Squirts short and less juice. #How_Did_I_Felt: I sprayed it on me and it was too sweet and fruity. If u ask me exactly what I smell now is melted #poppins candy(if y’all have tasted them in childhood) Its that sweet, smells exactly like grape flavoured mixed coloured poppins IMO, more sweet than fruity actually. And Swiss Arabian website wasn’t wrong with my opinion as they say it as a sweet fruity fragrance as well. I can see the fruit note with sweet is Grapes and apricot... it then settles with the seductive sweetness to amber and vanilla in the base. #Performance: #Sillage/#Projection: An hour I felt solid projection later not so loud and it formed a cloud around me so far or Im not sure if Im now with olfactory fatigue as well. I dont see it cloys me or chokes someone nearby or offending. Its sweet and mild for my nose. #Longevity: Its average. 6 to 7hrs on skin, its still available later as well if u can bury your nose on your skin and clothes. I didn’t had anyone to ask if they can sense any smell from in a distance later. Its a decent performer hopefully I guess it performs better in Winter. #Versatility: I feel like Im breaking a #stereotype about this fragrance right here. Once I got these on hands, I checked reviews on Youtube. So I was believing this as a summer fragrance until I use it yesterday. I even tried it today to check if I was wrong. But nope. I cant say they were wrong as well as every nose kinda different opinions. This is a winter fall based fragrance my friends. I got to admit it. Its a #Winter_Fall_Fragrance not a summer fragrance for me. It can be a good one in #Spring if u dont have a shiny Sun, give a go when the temperature is just little chill. I dont sense the citrus notes on them or fresh for real. #AgeGroup: This is an unisex fragrance as per the reviews, but this is more feminine for me than men. Because of more candy sweetness. It can suit young bloods and not for matured men IMO. #Occasion: Evening casual or leisure outs can be a good deal with this for a young guy. For women the same as a casual day or night out. Since this is more feminine, women can pick this as a daily wear in winter as well with moderate sprays if chances of close encounters or closed cabins for work, etc. #Uniqueness: yes, I feel this perfume is unique than my other perfumes I smelt so far. If you are a collector I would recommend you to have a try as it’s affordable one from this house. If you ask will I get another bottle if this gets over, definitely not for now. I will still check in Winter if this grows on me like CK one shock did, then let me come to a conclusion with this perfume in my future. This is totally my opinion what I experienced and if anyone had tried this one, I wanted to know if only I feel it as a winter fragrance. My rating for this fragrance is 7/10. I prefer Raaqi over kenzy in Summer and Spring. - Thank You

Changed this from a like to okay. I like the scent, but it's so weak. I passed on Lattaffa Ana Abiyedh because it seemed too similar, but now I'm wondering if I should have gotten it. Lataffa's are usually pretty strong, so I'm wondering now if that would have been a better option for a similar scent. Edit: I purchased Ana Abiyedh, and they aren't similar at all. I've come to not trust the many, many Erba Pura comparisons. I have many perfumes that are supposed to smell like Erba Pura, and they smell nothing like each other. Anyway, the Ana Abiyedh has a fluffy quality to it that also has that papyrus smell. Those things sound contradictory, but I detect both. I do prefer the Lattafa, but the Kenzy isn't bad. It's just completely different, and I would like it a lot more if it lasted. Maybe it will perform better after it sits for a while. Edit: Yes, letting it sit helps smooth out the rough edges. Still a soft scent, but one I enjoy too much to call just okay. And we’re back to a like.

On me, it's like there are all these beautiful notes - they are right there, within arms reach, and they are calling out to you. They are so close, but yet so far because they on the other side of the bridge that is protected by a musky b.o. troll. Fortunately, B.O. Troll is not super strong, but you do have to fight him to get to the juicy fruit. This is a new purchase for me, however, and I am only speaking to the initial sprays out of the bottle. If the scent changes with maceration/maturation or whatever - letting it sit for a bit, I will update. For now, I'm not sure what my opinion is on it. For what it's worth, it is inexpensive but doesn't smell cheap. Edited: Revisited one week later, and it's amazing. B.O. Troll had a change of heart and I've been taken in by the juicy fruits on the other side of the bridge. I detect the notes pretty much exactly as they are listed above. I also really enjoy the bottle. Fruity, sweet and sour, juicy. Love it.

Wearing this, i find it quite similar to Tiziana Terenzi Cassiopea, even though they use different notes, but what i get prominently is the fruit note which is yummy and scrumptious before it settles into vanilla scent with fruity sweetness in the background. They say that this perfume is a beast, unfortunately it doesnt agree with my skin chemistry, it is a medium silage perfume, with medium longevity, maybe i need to wear it more often....

Kenzy is fruity and sour, but not immature IMO! I usually prefer vanilla, spicy, smokey gourmands, but I am obsessed with this. Anyone curious should just go ahead and try because it’s impossible to explain. I have not done a long enough test to comment, but it has promising longevity and sillage compared to other perfumes I tested at the same time. Love!

Sour and sweet fruit. Pomegranate and apricot dominate other notes even at the beginning. On skin I can get citrusy notes. Vanilla will come in the end, on skin, with its powdery or sandy texture. Sweet but not cloying, fruity and straightforward. Better suits fall, winter and bed time. The atomizer works too well. The price is good.

Amazingly fruity! The pomegranate is the main player here. Smells so delicious. Kinda reminds me of Erba Pura but not a clone. What this fragrance EXACTLY smells like is Palmolive Aroma Therapy Sensual Shower Gel (the red bottle). It's feminine leaning but I'm gonna wear the heck outta of it anyway!

This is really nice. Fruity and musky without being too much of one or the other. I get Apple in the dry down. Might be my Midwestern nose, but that’s what I’m getting. Definitely smells higher end than the price and sticks around. Especially on clothing.

It's a unisex but it leans more feminine. sweet fruity seductive musky amber scent. this is really a good one to be honest. it's a gem. and there is one more fragrance with similar scent profile from the house of Afnan. it's called Supremacy Purple.

Gorgeous fragrance!.....Very realistic dominant juicy pomegranate note.....If you like fruity fragrances like Xerjoff Erba Pura,this one is for you.....8+ hours longevity with moderate sillage....Unisex but leans fem..

This is compared to fruit scents from Fantasy to Erba Pura. I don't care about them, the combination of sweet fruits, sour pomegranate and Big fig is just sooo delicious on this one....

I am getting a little same vibe with the opening of azzaro wanted by night on this. only in the opening. a fruity sweet amber feel.

This reminds me so much of Rasasi Jasmine Wisp but less creamy than the latter.. so yummy

This one sat for about a year. I get grape more than pomegranate, and i don’t experience the brightness of all the citrus listed. Candied peels, maybe. It’s dark and syrupy as opposed to bright, which makes me read this as a more masculine-leaning fruitiness. I do also agree with the reviewer who called this dry. Not an airy desert dry, but dried fruit— not bursting with juice. All rind, some candied, and red grape. The grape is probably fresh. All red fruit, no distinct fig (i blind bought primarily for the fig). I know syrupy and dry sound opposed, but the point is that the fruit remains intact, but the juicy freshness is absent. This is a really interesting one. I think it would smell divine on a man. Think of it as as deep and red as the bottle. The packaging, surprisingly, isn’t a mistake- it’s not pink or green or orange for a reason. I haven’t smelled all the fragrances in the ‘reminds me of’ section, but i can tell you this isn’t a high-femme fruity bomb. It’s fruity, but distinct from body sprays and fruity florals. I’ll say on me, this LASTS. Maybe a chemistry thing, but i’m getting whiffs close to my wrist 10 hours later.

Glad I decided to give it a try. It was crazy inexpensive considering the sillage, longevity, uniqueness, and the gorgeous bottle. Swiss Arabian is becoming one of my favorite houses. Very fruity and sweet, but as others have mentioned you get more of the amber in the dry down. Just a faint whiff of that smoky undertone that is common in Arabian fragrances. Really lovely notes of vanilla, apricot, and grape. Oddly, as sweet as it is, I think this is a perfectly unisex fragrance.

This is fruity gourmand turned up to 12. Luscious, juicy, and joyous. Opens with a cacophonous blast of orangey citrus (as per the notes) and then it's: Grape. Grape, grape, grape, grape, grape. The grapest of grape fragrances I've ever smelled. Grape dominates for a loooong time and then, emerging from the pile of grape pips, fig. Such a welcome surprise. A little later, musk arrives and amber joins in for a harmonious and comfortingly sweet dry-down with vanilla.

Smells to me like "our grandma's fruit cocktail or fruit punch in those old timey punch bowls"... With a hint of Vanille and musk. My wife likes this a lot on me on hot summer days... Plus I mix it with Shawq to make it less feminine. Great performance and great price if you need a cheap sent and don't want to risk your other more expensive bottles on an island vacation. I like heavy fruit smells on the beach so no problems here.

I agree with remikhayma. Kenzy is a full on cooler weather scent. Not for Summer at all. It's vanillia and dark fruit, folks. No citrus up front anywhere. Way too cloying for heat, so I'm just not getting any Summer connotations from this scent. "Sunscreen”?? Really?? I understand that smell is subjective, but I'm not getting that vibe at all here. I'll wear Kenzy mostly in Fall, but so far this SA offering feels overhyped.

Very citrus forward fragrance at first spray then develops into fruity delicious goodness. Very beautiful. Can be overwhelming at the first spray so you have to wait for a few minutes or so to get the feel of what Kenzy is about. Fruity sweet frag that is good for date night or evening wear. Moderate longevity for 2-4 hrs then dies down. Successful blind buy that has made me want to try more gems from this house.

Kenzy...the most original/generic scent in my collection. Smells like everything I own, yet I can’t seem to find anything in my collection that smells like it. A loud vanilla and fruit punch. Dries down to vanilla and grapes only. No middle eastern vibes. Go easy on the trigger...you WILL be smelled. I like this more than I used to.
