Maysoon

This opens with this beautiful sweet dewy lush rose. It smells like some kind of turkish rose oil. It then develops into a sweet (slightly tropical?) I thought pineapple but can see it’s a hint of coconut with citrus. This doesn’t project quite as much as their other fragrances but is still prominent. This a lovely feminine offering I can imagine on a young lady (though of course fragrance isn’t ageist). But it seems quite youthful and pretty.

roses! roses everywhere!! I was expecting some clear coconut there because I like it so much but it's reeeeally light.it's like a deep rose sweet smell...It's a warm fragance and I must say it's a monster. I mean it. Just two drops is enough for the whole day and the scent last to the day after. I get compliments when I wear it but then again handle it with care ;)

A lovely citrus and floral fragrance that is light and uplifting.

The top note of Maysoon is bergamot, an aggressive, industrial strength bergamot that doesn't remind you of Captain Picard's famous Earl Grey tea, but of a public restroom freshly doused with citrus air freshener. That sounds bad I know, but hear me out. As soon as that first flash of what I think smells more like lime than bergamot disappears (Captain Picard never does show up with a cup of Earl Grey), what is left is a lovely fruity-floral, woodsy, almost chypre-like fragrance. The citrus becomes bright and juicy, smelling very close to live fruit, the ylang-ylang unfolds offering its dewy sweetness, and anonymous woods hide under lush green foliage. Coconut is listed in the base notes but not even one ever falls on my head, instead I get wisps of musk and something oud-like in the drydown. There's a hide-and-seek vibe with this perfume as lots of other notes pop up, (roses? sandalwood? cypress? lemonade?) and are gone as soon as I try to catch them. Bottom line: this is a lovely, multi-faceted fragrance with potentially year round appeal. It's lush and romantic enough for evening but the citrus is bright and sunny enough for daytime. The sillage and staying power are both squarely in the moderate range so I'd say you could safely wear it to work and not choke out your cubicle neighbor. These oils from Swiss-Arabian Perfumes are amazing and amazingly CHEAP! How do they do it?

I just bought this as a christmas gift for my daughter. Before i wrapped it all up in paper and ribbon, off course I had to try it out first I must say that the box is beautiful and the bottle is like an oriental jewel. This is a gorgeous gift. I do not think this is a unisex perfume, this is definely for woman.This perfumes opening bursts of fresh cut roses, very fresh and nice. The bergamot turns up and the scents reminds me of the smell during heavy rain and roses. A little soapy scent lingers in the horizon and I can also sense a hint of powder. The dry down will be interesting to experience, I will get back with my opinion about it. But for now, this is a lovely perfume, very sensual, romantic and luxurious.

With a pure heart and being totally honest this is my ... being sick perfume. When I have temperature, an infection of some kind (ear, lungs, throat), the basic flu altogether, this is what I wear. I can smell it even with a flu, it rises my mood and generally helps me get better. I bought it from a trip to Dubai and wore it when I had a serious lung infection that just didn't seem to go away. The citrus makes the fragrance uplifting, the ylang must have some aromatherapeutic benefics and the overall composition has a simple feel-good-factor about it. Longevity is great and the bottle is a little gem (if you like this type of packaging) Would strongly recommend to deep-winter blues and being physically ill.

I may have smelled a bad batch but this smells extremely outdated. Just leaving to say that even if you love all these notes (which I do) do not blind buy, definitely get a sample first.

The notes on this one must be off - there is no ylang or coconut that's detectable to my nose. This is a dark-ish slightly leathery (by association) rose - very self assured and smooth. It's WONDERFUL if it works with your skin (it's divine on my daughter), but for me personally, my skin calls out the soapiness in lots of Arabian rose oils, and this particular one also fell by that same wayside. However, I don't think this is common, since I haven't heard anyone mention this before, so I still recommend people try this! I swapped it, but kept ~ 1 ml to enjoy smelling just out of the vial.

Warm citrus notes (like dried peel or zest, not juicy citrus), then- rose, rose, rose, then a warmer rose with a sweet undertone. Maybe it's just how it acts in cold weather, but to my nose there is very little ylang-ylang or coconut there, I mostly get a slightly powdery, slightly soapy, big floral centered around a rose. Smells clean and fresh, an invigorating, happy accord! I was expecting something slightly different, so make sure you're ready for those notes to turn out differently than what you picture if you decide to blind buy it.

A good citrus based fragrances that strikes me as lime and musk and oud.... But here I see the bergamot and orange create the lime I feel. There is some sweetness and creaminess, but overall (at least on me) this is unisex to masculine! The type of musk in the base must be responsible for this. I smell no ylang ylang or coconut. A pleasant scent for what it is and not a sharp or too tart citrus at that.

@guys following and using SA or Rasasi or Al Haramain: In these CPOs, is anything natural or is everything/ or are they mostly cheapy industrial synthetic reproductions?
