I really like this perfume. It smells of rose, it has a bit of a gourmand, sweet smell, and it develops nicely over time. This review is after having tried it on my skin for just a few hours. The rose is a kind of medium-strength rose, if that makes sense. It's not light, it's not super-strong, it doesn't seem strengthened by rose geranium oil. It's just really nice and wearable. Amazon says it has jasmine, so perhaps the jasmine is playing nice with the rose? I think this is a nice, safe blind buy for someone who would like a perfume oil. It satisfies my desire for a scent that is a bit "exotic" to my Western nose. There's something a little unidentifiable - maybe oud? We all say "oud" when we don't know what the smell is, and it's a perfume oil form the Middle East, don't we? Either way, I like this one more than the other Swiss Arabian Perfume Oil I bought (Kawthar), which was nice, but that one was simply more of a plain wood-smell (just oud, and not very interesting, either.) There is nothing skanky, cheesy, or animalic in this bottle, just easy to wear. Hope that helps the curious! I would purchase a second bottle.

Not sure how to describe it, the scent is so faint for a concentrated oil, There is a trace of oud/wood but again so weak, almost undetectable, I like the bottle though, nicely finished.
