Nouf

I don't understand the notes AT ALL. I have been wearing Nouf for years, before it was in the database here, and it smells like extremely sweet, syrupy, peach with oud, saffron, and vanilla. It smells so much like Montale's Velvet Flowers that I often opt to wear Nouf because it is like an atomic bomb compared to Velvet Flowers, which is already a beast, but Nouf is a nuclear bomb. One drop is all you need. To be honest though, Nouf smells more synthetic than the Montale, so I prefer Velvet Flowers. It's a lot more expensive too, so for a cheap dupe, go for Nouf.

I am really liking this, on this rainy winter night. A subtle hint of aquatic notes showed up after the citrus receded and now after 6 hours I am left with a comforting rounded amber skin scent. I love the way they did the pepper note, gives it a nice warm middle eastern vibe... exotic and warming. I imagine this would layer well with anything that needs a peppery kick or some amber depth.

It feels a bit weak and faint at first but it will affirm itself into an aromatic, woody, dry direction that will stick to your clothes forever. It is not a bad scent but I don't like it either. It has this Swiss Arabian scratchy signature note in the back that bothers me. I can't help sensing this sharp, synthetic facet that makes it cheap but also annoying...

This is a VERY mild middle eastern fragrance. It's a soft citrus, with some light woods, and a touch of pepper. That's literally it. It doesn't project much, and it's pretty weak for being a middle eastern fragrance. This would totally be office space friendly. This sits very close to the skin! This is very airy and light. It's absolutely perfect for spring and summer. I honestly can't imagine this being a fragrance you could EVER over spray. I've had body mists be way more noticable than this fragrance. This fragrance doesn't really change from start to finish. The only thing I've ever noticed is that, the pepper and woods come out much more as time goes on. This is not memorable, groundbreaking, sexy, beautiful, or anything of those sorts. This isn't necessarily bad, it's just nothing special. It's completely forgettable.

Tried a sample of this and I think I agree with gentel - this is just citrus/pepper/wood and not very exciting. This would work if you just want a clean, in-the-background, everyday scent.. but otherwise this doesn't really impress and might even be overpriced for this generic smell.

This smells perfectly fine but not particularly good either. Just citrus-pepper-wood and while that smells nice and isn't too objectionable it doesn't do anything great either. Fadeitak and Hayaam by Swiss Arabian are both in this same family of fragrances but substantially better.

White cotton laundry detergent powder with airy, sweet white florals and a subtle woody base. This perfume is inoffensive but too generic. To my nose, this leans a bit feminine due to the sweet white florals. Smell: 6 out of 10 Longevity: 8 out of 10 For reference, I'm female.

I agree with all reviews so far both good and bad all have elements of truth. I want to add that for me the powdery note is very dominant.

First of all, the bottle is dreadful. Regarding the perfume itself, it smells citrusy, but in an oily way and doesn't provide the sensation of freshness at all. Hard pass for me.

Pros: 1) The bottle is beautiful Citrus juice poured over peppercorns in a wooden container. I do not like this at all, on me it leaned more masculine and smelled cheap.

I don't know how someone can like this thing 🤢 the worst perfume ever.

Most clean and fresh scent with citrus, pepper and woody accords in such a pretty bottle that grabs attention at one glance. It feels as if all citrusy nectar is dropped over the peppers with the woody base. The wonderful aroma which is warm, spicy and citrusy at most is one beautiful fragrance. The longevity and silage are strong too. highly recommended if you love spicy woody scents and not the gourmand ones. Opening notes include bergamot, lemon and grapefruit with the heart of amber and pepper. Dry down is more od cedarwood, rosewood and amber. Go for it ladies out there, such a classy yet fresh and superb scent. Splendid! Highly recommended!

I recently ordered my Swiss Arabian Perfume Discovery Kit. I wore Nouf all day & instantly fell in love with this beautiful fragrance. It’s a wonderful aromatic, warm, spicy citrus scent. I love it. Nouf has great longevity & great sillage. This is definitely on my wishlist queue. I highly recommend everyone who loves perfumes, like I do, to purchase a discovery kit & try out these wonderful fragrances.

I agree with AveParfum that the notes listed above must be wrong. The person I talked to at Swiss Arabian in Muscat was knowledgable, and he described the perfume as saffron-floral, mostly jasmine. It is sweet, yes maybe a bit too sweet. But the combination of jasmine and saffron is lovely.

Liking this one...so far. I do get a citrus/oud /saffron with amber added too. The grapefruit note listed is not typical IMO. Seems to have average sillage and longevity, and has a "fresh vibe" but that is balanced out by the pepper note Very interesting scent
