Oud Al Ghutra

This opens with a fecal and very pungent leather smell,which is really offputting. It still smelling like this for about 2 hours. Than after, the fecal smell soften a little bit but doesn't disappear ,also I can detect an ambery sweet tobaccoish smell , it becomes more acceptable smell. In the drydown , you have a sweet musky smell with a little bit of tobacco , I find this stage the most enjoyable . Overral , the opening of this fragrance kills it, although , I like the drydown but the fecal smell is unbearable . longevity is very good (10+hours), same the projection is excellent.

I wonder whats up with swiss arabian here.....this stuff just smells bad, almost like rancid oud or fecal, but definitely not nice.

This is bad, like really bad. The opening is very harsh and fecal. I literally thought of a 1 year old's dirty nappy. I couldn't go all the way to the dry down as its sanky as hell, washed it off immediately. This is the only perfume that made me gag. The other two Ghutras are class. The red one is the best.

Yes the opening is barnyardy a little fecal. But that goes away in 10-15 mins. I bring this to work so I can start it off with Oud goodness. Folks learn to be confident in your fragrances and don’t care what others say. Also they just restocked this on Swiss Arabian website. So hurry before it’s all gone.

I respectfully disagree with the other reviewer (saidesses). I agree with what they said in that its opening is pungent, and it is very pleasant in the dry down, however I think even that pungent opening is pleasant. It bears no resemblance to feces at all, just a very well rounded fragrance.
