Private Musk

This creates the most delightful scent bubble. It's very weird to me because when I first applied it was like I could barely smell it . So I wrote it off as a dud....but as I continued to wear it and it warmed up on my skin I kept saying what is that sweet caramel burnt sugar smell and of course it was private musk..... when I put my nose directly to the skin I smell almost nothing but a faint scent of chlorine but in the air it's like An amazing Saffron caramel burnt sugar smell...... I love it🥰🥰 I'm anosmic to BR540 og and extrait but I have at least 10 dupes and inspirations that fall into this DNA Family I really love it and I'm glad to add this to my collection. This is the sweetness and elevated smell experience that I wanted Cloud or red temptation to be.

I bought this to layer with BR540 Extrait and Instant Crush. Very versatile, can be worn for cozy occasions as well as to boost the originals. It invites intimacy. I get a Woody note at first swipe, followed by the Saffron about 5-10min later. It's very reminiscent of the BR540 DNA of course, a pattern that I love. It's the oil version of Alharamain's Manege Rouge, more caramel-cotton-candy-esque than BR. I appreciate the constant vein of sandalwood which gives the scent more body. Scent stays close to the skin, but one does get beautiful wafts of it now and then. It's a love.

Lo compré totalmente a ciegas y fué una total dorpresa! Me encantó y me sigue encantando! No he olido nada similar....he tratado de describirlo y no puedo! Es dulce, pero cálido, pero sensual...es ÚNICO! Lo único malo es que cuando yo lo compré me costó alrededor de $20usd y de pronto, ya costaba $60usd en algunas páginas. Ojalá Swiss Arabian cuide ese aspecto en el futuro

I purchased this on Prime Day on the recommendation of Chris from The Perfume Nest. I really like this. It smells sweet (caramel) and woody. Definitely BK540 vibes. It layers well with multiple perfumes and it's long lasting. Great value.

I prefer Private Musk to MFK BR540. Its cotton candy and caramel sweetness. It does not have a synthetic/medicinal smell. It is what a unisex fragrance should be not feminine or masculine, just right.

I wish it lasted longer :( can only be smelled close to the skin after an hour

This smells like something your sugar mommy would wear. Rich, sweet, with an underlying sharpness from the oakmoss to cut through the amber. It's sweet, but the saffron is at the forefront, giving it a floral bitterness and maturity despite having that caramel body. It's strange; I don't usually assign age to perfume and believe anyone can pull off any fragrance with the right confidence and style, but this one definitely feels like it's for someone older (but not in a bad way!! It doesn't feel "vintage"--just mature.) I prefer Swiss Arabian's Private Oud--that one is pure vanilla, caramel, and chocolate without the sharpness of the saffron, but this scent intrigues me even though it's not entirely up my alley. Oh--forgot to add, it has surprisingly little sillage compared to other fragrances I've tried from Swiss Arabian, but please don't take this as a bad thing! There's something sexy about having to lean a little closer to sense it, and I definitely wouldn't call it weak, just a little more private, like the name suggests. :)

I don't find any similarities with BR540, it's very remotely related to Ariana Grande - Cloud, but only the cotton candy smell, so it's not similar to BR540. I find it very musky, you can really tell this is an middle eastern scent, and it also has sweet notes, that make it a very nice scent. For me, it's very unique, the way it smells and develops on skin. However, I find the longevity really bad, in 2-3 hours it's gone, and usually oils last much, much longer.

This fragrance is strong and quite mature in my opinion. I mostly get amber, oakmoss and some citrusy orange with some sweetness. It is a like not a love so I will probably not be wearing this often and unfortunately the scent makes me dizzy when I put it on my skin. A bit disappointed, to be honest, but can work on an older and mature woman.

This is a little bit in that BR540/Instant Crush/Cloud domain of Saffron-heavy fragrances, but this has caramel and cotton candy, two of the most cloying notes of all time. In my opinion Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud handles this saffron far better. This Private Musk is just too sweet though so 3/5

It has the same vein as BR 540 but no where close. Sillage and longevity is terrible for a perfume oil. I would better use it for layering and not on its own. Shaghaf oud is the only one that i felt is worth buying. ( I have private musk, hayaa, and shaghaf oud from Swiss Arabian)

Don’t be fooled by the chords and notes listed here. If you’ve ever had a cat, and smelled what cat piss smells like, that is the closest description I have for this.

This has ghost "Air" of Sandalwood I guess, b/c It's supposedly not in here, but my skin projects it. I've grown to like this, last for ages. A tiny swipe on wrist at bedtime is still projecting the next morning. NOT a fan of BR540, or Cloud, if that helps anyone's decision.

It smells like BR540 mixed with a heaping dose of oakmoss. It’s not a bad scent, but it definitely didn’t give the caramel and cotton candy scent I was hoping for.

I absolutely love this perfume oil, I use it to lay most of my fragrances for an adult touch of sexiness
