Rose 01

Rose 01 is aptly named: this is a fresh, sweet rose with a slightly sour aspect (no rhubarb, as in the Delina inspiration, but the litchi, bergamot, and pink pepper give a very "rhubarblike" effect). The sillage and intensity are phenomenal. This is more expensive than most of the other Middle Eastern Delina dupes (Delila is excellent, and it's no more than half as much as this one, for more juice, in a bottle that more closely resembles the original). That said, I think this is a better fragrance, with better-quality ingredients--it smells deeper and more complex, and the longevity and projection are superior. And if you want to layer dupe on dupe, you could use a bit of the Oil Perfumery impression of Delina (also very good) for touch-ups, since it smells virtually identical and is easier to transport than a bottle with a fancy ornamental metal cap. But the idea of anyone needing to amp up Rose 01 or make it last longer is ludicrous to me because this is a top notch performer by almost any standard and basically unimprovable. Yes, it is pricier than other Delina dupes, if far less costly than Delina--but you will end up spraying so much less of your Rose 01 that a 50-ml bottle will probably last you longer than a 100-ml bottle of another, similar fragrance. At least 10 hours since I last applied this, it's still going strong: the longevity is crazy. I don't know why you would need to bring along the OP rollerball dupe for backup, because this baby will go nuclear strength as long as you want it to, and maybe even then some. I value this level of performance highly, and I'm really glad I acquired this fragrance, even though I have so many that are perhaps 90% as good. I might pass those along to friends and keep my "old reliables," among which Rose 01 will enjoy a spot of prominence. Update: Nearly a year later, this is markedly better than it was when I bought it, and it was really good then. I'd say this is the best of my Delina "impressions," and I have a pretty good collection going. That said, if you're on a budget, go with Delilah by Maison Alhambra or Madame Rose by Oakcha. Better yet, make sure you like this scent profile. Many people can't deal with the sourness at the top (also present in Delina). I like this slightly green, vegetal quality--it reminds me of fresh-cut roses with their stems and leaves--but it's not for everyone. I also enjoy the slightly smoky woody base--cashmeran, nutmeg, maybe a touch of uncredited incense or oud--but I can see how this might not appeal to unreconstructed gourmand girlies. I don't feel like wearing this scent profile all that often, personally, and I don't like this when the weather is too hot, and I probably don't need quite so many bottles of extremely similar fragrances, but I don't regret owning this. The bottle and packaging are beautiful, too, even though the cap is absurd.

Luscious TROPICAL ROSE. Inspired by Delina Parfums de Marly. Opens with a fruity burst of litchi supported by multi-faceted bergamot & spicy pink pepper, that deepens into a rose & peony heart with lush, velvety, tropical, sweet, tart, powdery & peppery nuances, all resting on a floral support base of vanilla-musk & cashmeran. There is a forward ambroxan note out of the sprayer which quickly fades in 2 or 3 minutes, but overall I get a lush, tropical rose with amazing projection and longevity. This is one of the better dupes/clones inspired by Delina Parfums de Marly, in my opinion. Overall: A beautiful litchi-rose scent profile, and one of the best performing approximations of Delina PDM for those not sensitive to ambroxan-cashmeran. Enjoy! Contrast to Delina Parfums de Marly: These are different, but there is overall a similar vibe. Delina has the more tart rhubarb note, but doesn't have the harsh ambroxan note out of the sprayer, but Rose 01 outperforms. Contrast to Delina Exclusif Parfums de Marly: These are different, but again a similar vibe. Rose 01 falls between Delina & Delina Exclusif, but closer to Delina. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Souvenir Floral Bouquet Afnan: These are different, but SFB is closer to Rose 01 than Delina. Although it's also inspired by Delina PDM, SFB is a little more citrus forward, and has the same ambroxan note in the opening. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Arte Belissimo Romantic Orientica: These are different, but again a similar vibe inspired by Delina PDM. ABR is closer to Delina than Rose 01 and I don't get the harsh ambroxan note in the opening. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Italiano Vivo Armaf: These are different, but there is a similar fruity rose vibe. IV is more raspberry forward and doesn't dry down as warm. IV is closer to Tresor Midnight Rose Lancome. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Delilah Maison Alhambra: Different, but a good approximation of Delina PDM. No off notes for me, but more linear. Easy to wear, with equivalent performance and probably the best value that I've found for Delina dupes/clones. Contrast to Inner Beauty Julianna's Perfumes: A good approximation of Delina PDM with no off notes. Not linear, but gets a little sweeter in the drydown. Roughly equivalent and maybe slightly better performance than Delina PDM. Update 08/05/24: Sprayed this on my hand in search of tropical vibes. It's gotten a lot stronger. Up close or within 1 foot it's intense aroma-molecules & petrichor rose, but in the air it's a beautiful tropical litchi-rose that gently turns a little jammy over time. I'll reserve this for going out but wear it under sleeves for an indoor environment, as it's quite strong.

This is the last fragrance I bought that caused me to roll my eyes back, it's so good. I still sniff the aperture sometimes because it's that good. The rose in this fragrance is the best smelling rose, to me. THIS is the type of rose smell I love. It's still fresh, bright and youthful. Even though it smells similar to Delina, it stands on it's own as its own fragrance and is just as divine. Rose 01 does not have the incense note and the top notes are more subdued compared to the heart and base notes. The musk/vanilla/cashmeran combo at the base is exquisite and blends so perfectly with the intensity of the rose. The litchi, bergamot and pink pepper provide a brightness to the perfume. It's layered and blended just so perfectly with the bright layer on top, the smooth rose in the middle, and that warm, sweet layer at the base. It all comes together and magically makes this beautiful fragrance that has that middle eastern intensity and longevity factor. This was my best blind purchase and turned me on to this line from Swiss Arabian. I've bought the Oud 07 and Amber 01. The Amber 01 is not for me but the Oud 07 is something special as well. The rose and praline in that scent is divine as well and these two can be paired for a spicy, oud rose scent. I want to try Amber 07 and Musk 07 next. So far, I'm very impressed by the Heritage Series. The fragrance oils used are top notch and of fine quality. They are priced very reasonably when you consider the quality of everything, down to the bottle. The caps really aren't my thing but the bottles are made of heavy and sturdy glass. The atomizers also release a generous amount of juice with each spritz. It's safe to say if you like Delina, you'll love this scent. I combine it with Delina Body Cream and I get complements every time I wear it. My only other scents I get complements on are BR540 Extrait+Lost Cherry, Valentino Born in Roma, Coco Mademoiselle, and Guerlain Insolence. I'm a little confused at some people's comments. Ink? Too citrusy? Are we smelling the same thing? I bought mine off Amazon and this really kicked off my love of roses. I have so many other rose fragrances that I adore (Atomic Rose, Sweet Diamond and Pink Pepper, Possibilities, Roses and White Musk Absolu) but I still love this one. It's nice because sometimes I don't want the incense that I get from Delina, and this fulfills that need. I've had it for a few months now and the rose isn't as bright as when I first bought it. Still though, for $58 it's such a good deal for a high quality rose scent. If you like Delina like scents then you will like this one. Also smells like Live Irresistible Rosy Crush by Givenchy.

This is a grown woman. Upon the first spray after, of course, having it sit for almost 2 weeks, the first thing I smell is Rose. The second thing I smell is the lychee and pink pepper and Bergamont. Then as it dries down all of those blend together to create a very elegant scent. I would say this is not for women under 30. For that age range if they are the elegant type, perhaps ameerat al Arab privy rose would be best. This is for a woman that knows what she’s doing in life, she’s sexy, she’s smart, she’s refined, she’s sophisticated. I have never tried to Lina, but they all say that this is similar to it. I did have club de nuit Imperiale and I gave it a chance and let it sit for over a week and it was so sharp and so powerfully strong that it did not suit to my liking. I gifted it to my mother and she absolutely loves it. Now I kind of regret it cause maybe it might have softened up with more sitting time but that’s OK. It’s a beautiful perfume and I’m happy that she has it now. I was glad to give it to her because it will be enjoyable. This, however, I liked immediately, it did not hurt my nose, it did not come off as so strong that it was kind of making me sick of it throughout the day. Unlike CDN which felt so strong that I felt a bit embarrassed to wear it at work. I was self-conscious that it might be bothering other people. Today I am wearing this one and I don’t feel that way. All in all I think this was a great purchase, despite it being similar to Delena I think this is a perfume that stands alone, it doesn’t have to be compared to it. It is different and I’m sure there are cheaper dupes out there, this is a bit pricier than some other options, but it is a beautiful bottle and I think it’s a lovely fragrance.

Yessss! This is gorgeous!! It indeed smells like Delina with a bit of the extra creaminess Delina Exclusif has to offer. I do prefer OG Delina to DE, but this is a perfect blend of the two. I promised myself no more clones, however, this is as good as it gets whether it’s actually marketed to be a dupe or not. It lasts a very long time and to me, is a sharper initial punch than Delina. I’m genuinely surprised there aren’t more rave reviews on this! Good quality! Edit: Not sure if this happens with anyone else, but I sprayed this when I was having a particularly stress-filled day, and this actually heightened my anxiety levels and left me with a noxious headache. I'm afraid I've overdone it for the time being. Update 01.17.23: I had the chance to wear this side by side with Delina and Delina Exclusif. There are some significant differences that have me in even more favor of PDM, although I still can appreciate Rose 01 as a less expensive option. Both Delina and DE have a masterful composition. I think they are really well blended, and they have a chance to develop quite beautifully. Rose 01 is completely linear and just sits on my skin. DE and Delina get better throughout the day with their mid and bottom notes actually showing up with time. For example, DE's incense and amber notes are outrageous on me, although I realize Rose 01 doesn't feature those notes at all. However, with Rose 01 I feel like it's all the notes at once from the beginning and throughout the entire wear. I have sprayed too much of Rose 01 and regretted it, while never having that issue with the PDM babies. Finally, I don't want to say Rose 01 smells cheap, but there is a distinctive superior quality to PDM that is unrivaled at this point.

Head over heels in love with this stuff! This is seriously one of the best quality perfumes I have come across! To begin with, yes this is definitely a spot on Delina dupe. Almost identical. Especially if you walk past someone or others smell the sillage of this they will assume you’re wearing Delina. The only difference is that is has more of a potent rose water smell to it and it’s more zesty. Now putting Delina aside, and if you have never smelt it and can’t use it as reference then I will describe this fragrance from scratch like it’s the first time I’m sniffing it. Rose 01 is a sweet, syrupy, and strong pungent rose. Emphasis on STRONG. You can definitely smell the burst of citrus blended through with the sweet and powerful rose. It also has a slightly spicy aspect to it that smells like pink pepper which is probably coming from the nutmeg. Imagine a thick rose water syrup with a few squeezes of fresh lemon and some nutmeg🌹🍋 This is seriously the STRONGEST fragrance I have ever come across. It’s also soooo long lasting. so 1-2 sprays is enough and you will smell it the entire day. This is coming from someone who loves to overspray everything lol. Even after doing my laundry I still smell this on my clothes. This stuff is seriously potent and will get you ALOT of compliments. Overall, if you want a cheaper alternative that is much stronger and more long lasting than Delina then definitely check this one out. Also, if you love a strong, syrupy and potent rose fragrance then you need to add this beauty to your collection. I am surely buying a back up bottle and I am extremely impressed with this. Arab fragrances and middle eastern brands never let me down lol.

Ah, Rose 01. I fell for the hype back in 2022-2023 when every influencer and their mother was receiving one in exchange for a review that would lead to regular folk purchasing a bottle. I bought 3 due to fomo and have since decluttered all 3 over the span of 2 years. I learned my lesson and I learned it well. I sold 2 easily. I was able to get my money back and the 3rd bottle gave it to my mother in law which has since sat in her storage cabinet for a good while. I visited her house and found the bottle today. I dusted it off and thought "hmm.. its pretty... I remember it being pretty I think it got better now." WRONG Fast forward 15 minutes later and I realized why I can't handle this scent. I don't know if it's the pink pepper or what but it is stronger than a mofo in this. I came to the realization that pink pepper is in every single fragrance note that I tend to hate. Paired that with peony and litchi. Its also very screechy and smells like a woman who has not showered but has showered herself in a Rose centered perfume instead. Iykyk. But that's just what fragrances with a highly concentrated pink pepper note smells like to me. It was already too late for me. The 1/2 spritz to the back of my hand filled up every inch and every crevice of my entity and I just could not get it off fast enough It also does not wash away easily it is a headache to remove. Might be good if you love the scent but for me I needed to get it off immediately and couldn't. I truly dont think ill ever blindly buy another fragrance again.

Swiss Arabian "Rose 01" and Matin Martin "Lady Roza" are 99.99% identical perfumes in their dry-downs. I prefer Lady Roza a wee-bit more. However, Rose 01 is lovely. And if you own one of these perfumes, you do not need both. Rose 01 opens with a very strong, aldehydic-like burst of litchi, bergamot and pink pepper. BERGAMOT is extremely prominent and pretty sour for the first 15-20 minutes. In the opening, Rose 01 is sharp, spritzy, extremely bright, a bit sour and spicy. IMHO, Rose 01 is NOT a fresh and clean fragrance. A nutmeg note adds a spicy, dusty accord. Rose 01 develops as a powdery, spicy, slightly dewy, fully-bloomed red rose fragrance with crisp green facets and earthy base notes. In its heart notes and throughout the drydown, Rose 01 is floral, dewy, crisp, SPICY and verdant. The perfume's mid-phase is floral-rose perfection and my favorite part of the fragrance. The perfume's drydown is a gorgeous rose accord with the ideal amount of sour citrus, dewy green-ness, some spiciness and a bit of earthiness from the musk. Rose 01 is much spicier, sharper and initially more bitter than Lady Roza. Because of the rhubarb & litchi notes, Lady Roza's opening is greener, dewier, more vegetal and more aquatic than Rose 01. And as an Extrait de Parfum, Rose 01 lasts an eternity; its performance is beyond stellar. Rose 01 is gorgeous & beautiful! And I'm happy I own both Rose 01 and Lady Roza.

If you are purely looking for a Delina dupe and you love Delina for the lychee note, I do not recommend this. For me the pink pepper is quite strong and the lychee takes a backseat. I can understand the comparison but for me it was not close enough to scratch that itch. This perfume is also 10x stronger. When I spray this on one wrist and Delina on the other I can barely even smell the Delina. Now, Delina aside - this is a beautiful powerhouse of a fragrance. Even though I bought it as a possible Delina dupe I was not disappointed in the fragrance at all. The projection is insane and it stays on your skin all day and on clothing for DAYS. I wore this and a couple days later wore the same coat and was confused where the scent was coming from because I hadn't put any fragrance on that day...it was that strong. The main notes I notice are a really indulgent rose scent that is sweetened with light litchi and vanilla as well as a distinct pink pepper note. This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous. If you like rose scents this is a no brainer for the quality and price. I would consider this a safe blind buy. One other note, if you are prone to migraines like me be careful with over-spraying this one.

The existence of Rose 01 by Swiss Arabian really drives home just how much the fragrance industry over inflates prices and takes advantage of hype around the latest $400 release. I bought a bottle of Rose 01 from a seller on Mercari for less than $30 as part of a perfume lot. The quality of Rose 01 was a shock, given that I was expecting a watered-down Delina. I tested it against my Delina sample and Delina, in comparison, had poorer performance and lost the brightness of the opening during the dry down becoming a little mushy. Rose 01, on the other hand, has better longevity and projection while retaining the nuance and character of Delina. The rose note was better, brighter, and more robust with a touch of lemon. I wore 1 big spray of Rose 01 to bed and the fragrance was so persistent and beautiful that it became part of my dreams. If Delina were released as a typical designer fragrance, for example, I could see it fitting in as one of Dior's rose releases, then I would say, yes, this is a very good perfume and it should be praised. Delina smells like a good contemporary designer fragrance, but not a ground breaking high quality $400 niche perfume. 5/5

This was strong right out of the box, but as it matures--hoo boy. I'm upgrading my longevity grade to "eternal" from "long-lasting" because it keeps on throwing long after I wish it would calm down and go to sleep. It is highly unfortunate that my husband dislikes it, and not for the reasons you might think. It's not the strong, slightly sourish rose/lychee accord that he finds objectionable but the cashmeran/nutmeg/musk base, which he describes as "acrid." I think this must be the note that several Fragranticans interpret as oud or oudlike. It does have a woody, incense-amber aspect. I have several perfumes that smell almost exactly like this, and I suspect that he dislikes them all about equally, even though this is the most luxurious interpretation (I don't have the PdM Delina for him to sample). I would say that if you like the Delina DNA, you will probably like this, especially after it has had a chance to deepen and rest a bit. But if you just want a plain, straightforward rose scent, something light and sweet and pretty and inoffensive, you will probably want to look elsewhere, maybe to Miss Dior Rose 'n' Roses, or possibly Lancôme Idôle.

kpop_stan pinpointed it below - it is a sweet jammy from the distance and some burnt rubbery nutmeg when sniffing the skin closely. If you like it and don't want the burnt rubber effect, I'll recommend 2 other perfumes: Arabesque by Aurora Scents and Sun Java Rose Oud by Franck Olivier. Both a bit sweeter than this, but only a bit, and significantly cheaper. I have both so Rose 01 is a pass for me. EDIT: After 3 weeks of resting it has changed - less burnt rubber, significantly fresher than Arabesque by Aurora Scents and Sun Java Rose Oud by Franck Olivier, beautiful and prominent trail all around me. I decided to keep it and let it maturate more. EDIT2: After a year it is one of the top 20 fragrances in my collection - no rubber, no artificial sweetness, no mess in the notes and a beast mode projection + longevity. People go crazy when smelling it and keep asking what I'm wearing. It's now nowhere near super sweet Arabesque by Aurora Scents and Sun Java Rose Oud by Franck Olivier - which are by the way clones of Montale's Intense Cafe, I just didn't know this scent back then.

Received this today. Nice simple presentation. Nice cap design. This is in the same realm as Delina and Delina Exclusif But at the same time the Muskiness of this and the Same rose is in Dior Prive Rose Kabuki. The same creamy and muskiness you get from Rose Kabuki. Ok, so earlier I put in 2 sprays, slight oil which goes away after 15 mins or so. I still think the OGs still has a quality to it and adds a fluffy rose with some powder element to it. Rose 01 I still can get the ME dna and aroma chem somehow. Projection doesn't seem as good as some cheaper alternatives of the og, I expected because this is an Extrait. The best silage and projection monster mode still has got to be Armaf's white Imperial. Rose 01 seems Abit subdued, lesser than the OGs. That said, if it's on a good discount, can try but it's only a 50ml and the bottle and cap is not so convenient for a travel size mode too.

This fragrance is perfect for the summer season—very light and subtly sweet. The rose notes feel like freshly bloomed, young roses, still dewy and alive. I believe this scent suits younger girls or women more; no offense intended, but I can’t really imagine a 40+ woman wearing this fragrance. It has a youthful naivety and innocence, with a soft sweetness, yet it never smells cheap or overly sugary. You can clearly sense the elegance of cashmere, while rose and peony play the leading roles. Lychee adds a beautiful touch of sweetness and freshness, and the vanilla ties everything together seamlessly. What I don’t detect in this fragrance—at least not on my skin—is musk.

Edit: I sprayed on my clothes and the scent stayed a wash cycle. The downside of this beautiful fragrance is that it made me feel like selling off all my other ones. But at the same time made me feel like finding all other ones just like this. This is such a beautiful fragrance. The rose is luscious and luxurious. The litchi mixed with the rose gives an uplifting lilt. Very good sillage. It's not a cloying, hard smell but just a beautiful radiating rose. This is so beautiful that I almost wish no one else knows about this. Cos once it becomes well known everyone will be wearing it. Anyway I bought 2 more bottles cos I intend to bathe in this.

At first spray, it smells close to Delina Exclusif and Delina. Somewhere in between you could say, but leaning closer to the Exclusif version. But, here's the thing, once it dries down it has a very Oud Satin Mood feel. The Pink Pepper gives it a bit of an Atomic Rose vibe too in the mids. Amber and Benzoin aren't mentioned as notes but the drydown has a rich, deep and creamy Vanilla-Amber-Benzoin feel to it, that probably gives it the resemblance to Oud Satin Mood. Unisex if you can pull off Rose scents. Smells rich. Bottle's lovely too. Great for the price. Smelly Cat on YouTube.

Oh....my....goodness. This perfume is stunning!!! I let it macerate for about 2 months. Wore it today for the first time. I love it!! Beautiful rose turns into sweet litchi turns into cozy vanilla, but the rose is there throughout in the background during the mid and drydown. It is a powerhouse fragrance with excellent longevity and sillage. When I wear perfume, I want myself and everyone in the room to smell it. This is NOT a skin scent for those of you that prefer light perfumes. Lovely, weighty bottle as well. So happy with this purchase!!!

I really think some of the commenters here received a bad batch of this fragrance. I absolutely love it and find it to be almost spot on for Delina...perhaps a mix between Delina and Delina Exclusif. It is a beautiful creamy vanillic rose and you can't miss the litchi and pink pepper in this one. It has above average longevity and projection. If you are looking for a less expensive Delina, then look no further, folks. I have been layering this with Bath and Body Works' Covered in Roses and find I can save on the Delina sprays. Score!

A blind buy, but no regrets. This scent is just so beautiful! Can definitely see why people compare this with Delina/Delina Exclusif. I'm surprised this perfume isn't more hyped up among perfume youtubers, given their obsession with PDM. Rose 01 projects so much better imo but does so without it being offensive (which the OG Delina can sometimes). Long lasting, juicy, jammy rose 😍 Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 10/10 Longevity: 193839/10 (I cleaned a bit of leak off of the cap, put it on my hair and I could still smell it even in bed!)

Delina but better. Smooth, sparkly and decadent. Better blended. A sensual feminine night scent. If you don't know what Delina smells like, this is basically lychee, rose and saffron with some underlying woods as support. At the price point, this is so worth it and strong too. Please beware. Over time the musk grows too strong and ruins the perfume. It's that synthetic, plasticky musk used in a lot of Middle Eastern perfumes. I recommend to use it within a year. Smell: 10 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.
