Shaghaf Oud Ahmar

This Erba Pura by Xerjoff or Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi is a much more affordable price than both. It veers closer to Kirke’s scent profile, though. Nothing new or remarkable in the perfume industry, but it is an excellent dupe to overpriced fragrances with similar note profiles. If you already have either Kirke or Erba Pura, don’t get this because it’s redundant. But, if you don’t have either of those fragrances and want something very close to clones of those perfumes at a reasonable price, then get Shaghaf Oud Ahmar. I cannot pick up the Oud note at the base, so either it’s so well blended that I can hardly smell it, or my nose can’t pick it up, or it just isn’t there.

Such a compliment magnet!! Out of all my collection, this gained the most compliments even from strangers. Although I could smell something a little bit metallic, but maybe that's just the sharpness of the citrus. The freshness of the melon comes through on the initial spray, and then the amber and vanilla takes over after an hour or so, depending on the weather and if I'm outside or not. On my skin, it lasted for at least 5hrs. On my clothes, it lasted for sooo long, sometimes I could still smell it even when I already washed my clothes. I slept at my bestfriend's house while using this and she told me the smell rubbed on their pillows and blanket I used.

This fragrance is incredibly beautiful and angelic. It has a feminine,fruity shampoo, clean aroma with slight vanilla and creamy notes. It is very similar to Ana Abiyedh White due to the prominent vanilla but less animalic compared to the Lattafa version. However, it's important to note that this fragrance is three times more expensive than Ana Abiyedh, so keep that in mind when making a purchase. It is also not as long-lasting as Erba Pura or Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold. Edit; Layer this perfume with Musk blend by Khadlaj, literally smells like paradise/ heaven, wooowww.

The right fragrance to get you through that work/social function when you pretend to be that smiley chirpy individual. I can’t detect oud which makes it inoffensive. Wonderful mood uplifter not only for yourself but for those around you. Less juvenile screech as in Very Good Girl and less pretty young placid thing as in a Delina. Yet similar profiles. Still fun but a lot more no nonsense. Wished it lasted longer than 4 hours on the skin but maybe that’s all the time you need to get through that corporate function. Gorgeous bottle and packaging. Amazing price! Winner.

This is a less airy, more feminine, and leather free Milano (I can barely detect the leather in it) by fragrance du bois for a fraction of the price. I say Milano and not Erba Pura because it’s got the same smooth refinement and high class feel Milano has. Milano is beautiful and it feels and smells luxurious and this feels like that. I blind bought jasmine wisp two years ago and something always bothered me about it, it always smelled cheap to me and cloying. It’s almost impossible to wear. I wore it once and it was meh. This, Ahmar, is perfection!

If I purchase another fragrance that ends up being a clone of something that I have in my collection I'm gonna scream!!! It smells nearly identical to Tomavicci Zenobia, which is similar to TT Cassiopeia. All are beautiful, and ALL have that Erba Pura inspiration. But the redundancy is starting to wear on me. ((Sigh)) Nevertheless, they did a wonderful job with Ahmar and I will most definitely be keeping this one to travel with.

The lasting power on this is actually insane. A little goes a LOOOONG way, the smell does linger on my clothes for days which I personally don't mind. That being said, I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. I am a big fan of fruity and musky perfumes and this is perfect. A fruity scent, but it is mature and sexy. Another review had mentioned this, but the longer you let it macerate the more beautiful the scent becomes.

I love this scent but will be taking it off my wishlist simply because it is too beast mode. It lasts years on skin and refused to get off of my clothes. If you loved j'adore by dior and wanted it to last till the day you die, this is for you. I may opt into getting the perfume oil and I would actually recommend that over getting the actual fragrance because you will be buying the lifetime supply.

This is an amazing scent if you like fruity scents. I’m not sure if men can wear this but I like smelling this on other people. It’s strong and long lasting and anyone who doesn’t smell fruits in this has to probably let this macerate. It smells a lot like shampoo but better. Will probably get this again when it’s done. If you don’t like fruity scents don’t get this

This was such a joyful blind buy. Though its longevity is shorter than my other oud fragrances, that's a small trade-off for a scent I adore. It has quickly become my signature. To my surprise, it's also a compliment magnet—I'm consistently asked what I'm wearing. It perfectly balances being discreet and elegant with remarkable presence ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful fragrance. It is a bit redundant if you have Erba Pura, Amber Oud Gold Edition, Jasmine Wisp, etc etc and the like. Bright, refreshing. Great for the spring and summer. Also, good for year round use when you're craving the DNA. I do not get any touches of aoud or cedarwood, but it is a well-balanced scent.

FABULOUS. I bought this in Dubai last year and fell in love with it. Yes it does smell like Erba Pura but not as screechy or overpowering. Super well blended fruity scent. Very summery but I will be wearing it all seasons because I love it so much.

The opening for me is exactly like Erba Pura. But the dry-down is much more pleasent with a well blended tonka bean and vanilla combo. Its not as synthetic but also a lot weaker than Erba Pura. Great Summer/Spring scent worth your money

Such a wonderful scent! I sense some Erba Pura DNA and Jardins exclusif but the Iris note makes the Ahmar stand out, it's a lovely amber scent to wear all year round, very fresh and Crowd pleasing. I highly recommend it.

Average performance when I bought it. 2 months later this fragrance lasts all day on skin and maybe 3 days on clothes. Not very cheap but more wearable than erba pura and good price for the quality offered. 8.8/10

The pretty girl walks past you and she smells like fresh skin and creamy conditioner. She’s in no rush. Beverage in hand, hair laid, jewelry and lipgloss adorned. She is exactly where she needs to be.

This is beautiful! If you like Erba Pura, you'll enjoy this too. Longevity is great (on me). So happy to have it part of my massive collection.

Phenomenal. Fruity without being juvenile and annoying. Very rich and sexy. One of my favorite middle eastern perfumes.

At first spray, I feel like this was *very* much a shampoo or an air freshener scent. I also really do not get much fruit from this, the first notes that come out to me are the cedar, iris, tonka, rose, and oud. It is more of an underlying scent of fruit that does not scream out to you in any way, there's a powdery fruity sweetness to the floral and woody scents. This was a blind buy and I was actually quite surprised since a lot of folks seemed to mention it being overtly fruity! I grew up with family who were carpenters and gardeners/florists, and this gives me flashbacks to folks making stuff with aromatic red cedar and picking roses lol. Certainly not a "juvenile" scent by any means, but I can see this going well with something else layered, but if you are the type who prefers a more mature floral I can see this being good by itself even. I can see this with a vanilla gourmand or more overt fruity scent scent to bring a more mature atmosphere to them! With that being said however, I do not think this perfume by itself lasts very long, or at least I go nose-blind to it quite quickly after about two hours of wear. In terms of sillage, I'd say its about arms reach and is more powdery and fruity the further you are away, and gets much more musky and woody the closer you get.

I tried it out at the Swiss Arabian corner inside Lulu Hypermarket in Deira, Dubai during my most recent visit in May of 2023. It was very very new on their shelves, as was advertised to me by their sales rep. I quite liked it.....creamy, flowery, a bit fruity and quite soft. I genuinely wanted to buy it...but I wasn't yet sold on its longevity, as it appeared to be a little too soft. Perhaps, the longevity will improve over time since it is still very new on the market. Azraq on the other hand was a borderline beast, and it overshadowed Ahmar right from the start as I tested them both at the same time. Secondly, it came off a little too feminine for a guy, I was almost convinced it was a feminie-targeted release, even by the looks of some of the brand's promotional images. But I really did enjoy it and I might buy it someday.

'Tis a pleasing creamy fruity scent. Certainly a unisex scent, leaning slightly feminine but easily wearable for young men. A playful and inviting scent that smells above its price range. It's relatively cheap and a nice addition to anybody's collection who enjoys fruitier, youthful scents that don't smell too immature or synthetic. A pleasant aroma but nothing especially to write home about, and unlikely to be in anybody's top five. Also the bottle is ass and the cap and atomiser broke for me towards the end of its lifespan. Overall a good perfume but not one I would buy again.

i got the fragrance oil (attar) version of the scent as a gift, I was a bit skeptical because of the oud as I am not fond of it and mostly find it too strong. This one was subtle, feminine and floral at the opening, after 6+ hours, can just smell the sandal wood and faint oud...Not overpowering, its inoffensive and can be used as an everyday scent. My children said I smell like an old lady so i think an older person who enjoys subtle woody notes might enjoy it.

This is a creamy, milky melon and fruity scent—very pleasant and soft. It has a cocooning, tender quality that feels comforting. I didn’t expect too much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I first sprayed it. I bought it based on a blogger’s recommendation as a great fruity perfume for spring—and I have no regrets, which is rare for me when it comes to Arabian perfumes.

There's something about this that I find much more tolerable than Erba Pura, which I find screechy and off putting. I've also had Anna Abiyedh White by Lataffa which is also screechy and I struggled to use, even as a bathroom spray. This one is a firm like and will see plenty of wear despite the fact I mainly bought it to sit alongside my other Shaghaf loves, Azraq and Aswad.

Erba Pura high quality dupe. It smells like a fruit basket but its very good quality smell. Its like a shampoo scent. Summer scent to my nose but to be honest, so far all swiss arabians that I got are weak somehow. Not beasts are some are claiming. Its okay but I have smelled better scents. Edit: Sold my bottle within 1 week.

This is great for spring and summer. I love layering Ahmar with Juicy Couture's OUI. I love how light it is though, the scent does not smack you in the face. The longevity is excellent, it stays on my skin all day like most of Swiss Arabian's perfumes do. The bergamot stands out for sure.

Decent Erba Pura dupe. I find it better than Erba Pura due to its more grown up vanilla-tonka base note. Opening is as beautiful as the dry down. On my skin the heart notes smell somewhat soapy sometimes though

I Just recieved this and I do like it but its such a light melon faint scent ? Maybe i need to let my bottle sit because all i get is clean melon then the musk.

This took a tremendous amount of time to finally be wearable. It came straight of the bottle truly disgusting. But I trusted the process, let it macerate for months and it’s finally coming into its own. The fruit and sweetness is finally there. Though, it does dry down to that very recognizable middle eastern thing that is kind of ambroxany and something else I can’t put my finger on. But it’s decent after almost 6 months.

I bought this fragrance blindly after reading reviews, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It’s not a bad scent by any means—just extremely boring. This is the kind of fragrance that won’t offend anyone, but it also won’t captivate or leave a lasting impression. On my skin, it’s mostly fruity notes, with vanilla and musk lingering quietly in the background.

After shaking this and letting it sit for another month, I kind of like this now. I hated this at first. Fruit and Oud was a nasty combo. However, this has matured nicely. This now smells like a fruit shampoo to me. I get a distant hint of Oud, but I am not being slammed in the face anymore.

It smells divine on paper, and for first spray... Unfortunately for me it turns on my skin, I have the same problems with perfumes like "Si" and "Very good girl blush", it is a shame as I literally have to wash and repeat to get it of my skin 😔

Not my favorite. Let’s see if maturation does its magic. Right now it’s fruity but very sharp and “unpleasant” to my nose. Maybe it is just that I dislike woody notes.

Reminds me of a mix between Erba Pura and Baccarat. Has the fruit concoction of Erba Pura but with the Baccarat 540 airy sweetness. It's pleasant but a bit artificial

it’s exact same vibe to kirke,ebra pura or jasmine wisp . if you have any of the above then you don’t need this one. personally there is something in this perfumes that puts me waaay off. i can’t stand it on my skin . every time i give it another try immediately go to take a shower to remove it from me . headache inducing.

Smells good once applied but longevity is less than 30 minutes , bad performance

I tested on the skin this one, Erba Pura and Philos Pura (which I truly don't understand why is not on Fragantica). This has a powdery drydown that the others don't - which makes me like it better. I feel it's more wearable and soft, and I honestly don't mind that is doesn't have the strongest longevity, but once I buy the big bottle, I'll let it maturate. My next tests will be with Royal Amber and Amber Oud, let's see which will win the race hahaha Edit: comparing as dupes for Erba Pura, Royal Amber is still the best, with Amber Oud in second. Shaghaf stays as the most wearable/versatile version with a shampoo vibe and tone down notes.

A creamy, musky peach-forward take on the Erba Pura DNA. The musk note is far less likely to offend here compared to Amber Oud Gold Edition, I personally much prefer it. This is less of a fruit salad compared to Zimaya Rabab Blue and more well-blended, though they also happen to layer together very nicely to achieve the best of both worlds. It's unlikely to blow you away as it's overall an inoffensive scent, but if you're looking for a soft fruity musk scent, or you're looking for something to layer with your other fruity scents, this will likely do the job.

Shampoo scent ?!! 🤔 That’s all I got its shampoo clean scent, thank goodness I didn’t blind buy Erba Pura or gold or the same DNA from the other niche brands, it’s not bad but I didn’t like it, I wore it one time at a restaurant and got two compliments from strangers they were at the tables next and behind me, that’s mean it has a very good projection and silage,also it stayed in my hair for a week,I wish I could like it but I think it will leave my collection very soon

Idk about this fragrance lol. I liked it when I first got it because it smelled like a smoother well blended erba bura. Now after a full wear, it smells identical to instant crush by Mancera which I do not like 😭 the longevity and sillage is moderate which I’m surprised because everyone says this house is beast mode.

When my best friend smelled this, he said "OMG girl.... she's strong!" and I looked at him confused because to me it's the other way around. Every time I give this perfume a chance, I could not smell anything but melon. I think maybe I'm anosmic to it or just probably needs to macerate a bit longer. I shall update...

Ahhhhh what a unique fragrance, yes it has the fruitiness of Erba Pura, but the drydown so soft like omg. It’s truly addictive. It’s like if you put a coconut and argan oil on your skin and splash with a fruity vanilla water. Not heavy at all, very summery fragrance. But I would say it’s more of a young girl scent

In 30 minutes this was gone.. i am a big fan of shaghad scents and have tonka and oud in my collection which are super long projectors but this one is weak. I would save my buck and save a bit more for kirke, many great discounts now, which is the same but lasts all day and projects lot more

Definitely has a Kirke, Erba Pura vibe to it but it’s less screechy and a little more tolerable. Still that same scent profile. I was hoping for something new :( Update: Layer this with Vanilla 28 and thank me later. Like a 5:1 ratio

If you find erba pura nice, but having nousiating rotten fruit note and you want something that has all the good stuff from erba pura pick this fragrance. Its fruity sweet floral without that disgusting rotting fruit scent.
