APPLE-CIDER & Chocolate-Cake-(Patchouli). I agree with reviewers KermieFae & Marisu below. This is powerful stuff, with a sweet apple-cider-beer opening that leans to pineapple. There's a beer note here as well that other reviewers have noted, and it contributes to the apple-cider-beer vibe. It surprises me that saffron & patchouli aren't listed in the notes. The drydown I get a chocolate-cake-patchouli with an overall apple-cider-beer, deepening into upside-down-pineapple-chocolate-cake vibe, that has a bit of an afterbite with saffron. Contrast to Starry Night Montale: This is a dupe of Starry Night Montale with good approximation & excellent performance. Starry Night is slightly more powdery, and the patchouli is slightly more obvious. Performance is roughly equivalent. Contrast to Erba Pura Sospiro/Xerjoff: These are different, but there is an overall similar vibe. The citrus is more forward in Valencia with apple-cider deepening to pineapple, while Erba Pura is muskier and leans even more to pineapple. Both have excellent performance. Overall: Beautiful scent profile, but you could easily spray too much as it lasts for 24 hours or until the next shower. Despite the dangers of choking yourself out, it's a love for me. This is my favourite of the cities range by Swiss Arabian that includes Casablanca & Florence. Enjoy!

At first sniff this smells absolutely masculine chemical yet still not that bad but after about 7 minutes the apple started popping and i can sense a bit of honey and the sandalwood is there but its faint. I can definitely see a man wearing this but if a woman wears it I’ll chase her and ask her what she’s wearing, its unique that’s undoubtedly, its very sexy on its own but it has more potential with layering!! I wouldn’t layer it with something fruity or citrusy, maybe white or blue musk, oud too in the winter time I still haven’t tested the sillage nor the longevity but will update soon!!

Wow, Valencia is gorgeous!!! So warm and happy, the scent of honeyed apples with a spritz of lemon, powdery rose, & sandalwood incense in the background. It feels like I've always known this scent. Maybe it reminds me of the traditional Rosh Hashanah treat of honey & apples or the yummy apple-honey fruit salad that my mom used to make -- but with the non-fruit salad-type addition of a pretty pink soapy rose and woodiness at the base. I'll venture to say it's my favorite Swiss Arabian so far and, like the others I own, is tenacious.

Floral but still there's hint of masculine notes from amber, musk, and sandalwood trifecta. This scent reminds me of Ferrari Bright Neroli's near perfect harmony of different notes from top to heart to base. There is too little conflict in the mixture of its notes. Projection is superb, drydown is passable, and longevity is average. Too bad I have to pick only one in the Swiss Arabian booth in Dubai and my top pick is the ultra delicioso gourmand Casablanca. My rating for this scent is 8/10

Between Florence, Casablanca and Valencia, Valencia is my favourite of the bunch. The opening is a blast of citrus (bergamot and lemon) wrapped by a sweet apple. A bit harsh I agree but after 20 minutes we can get to smell a beautiful powdery amber dry down with undistinguished soft florals. Definitely Valencia is less gourmandy then Casablanca. Projection and longevity here are insane. A all year ‘round fragrance to me. @deepgreenbeauty

Similarly to the previous user, I had to give it couple of gos, before I started to love it. At first, it smelled like cheap men's cologne to me, then I started to feel something unusual, unique. Typical unisex. Great value for money. And just a recent discovery: when layered with Chocomusk, it smells like Arabians Tonka or Shaghaf Oud.

I love this perfume so unique and not basic at all. For the ladies who love Angel will love this beastmode it’s a burst of fruits with citrus. This is soo good same freshness if you like mayar natural intense. This is a hidden gem between the 3 from this collection this is my second fav Casablanca takes the spot.

I can't say enough how much I'm inlove with this perfume , a summer fragrance that last very long is a dream that Swiss Arabian made it come true , I love how fresh & sweet this fragrance is , the apple is so real and amazing , the dry down is beautiful sweet Ambery scent . So elegant & sexy ! 10/10

I really like this scent. It reminds me of Calvin Klein Reveal with the soft, fruity, burnt sugar like aroma. I get a little whiff of the hoppy smell you get next if to a brewery but in a nice way. Seems to last a good 4-6 hrs too before it loses strength.

No idea why this is rated so low. It’s excellent...year round!

This fragrance was unfortunately not love at first scent with me. Not even after the first dry down. I had to put this scent down as I had ordered it in the height of summer. I am glad I gave this fragrance a second chance. The bite of winter certainly calms the cloying nature of such a sweet fruity floral blend. Its opening can be harsh, leaning a smidge synthetic, and it opts for realism with the sour, mouth-pucker of a green apple. Too many sprays and you might find yourself disliking this fragrance. Yet, when spraying conservatively it has this fantastic green apple martini opening that segues from the florals with a hint of spice to a full blown warming musk and sandalwood dry down. With all this discussion below of apple you would think this would be a perfect fall scent! However this is not a candied green apple with caramel nor mulled wine spices. The jasmine, rose, and gardenia gently guide the scent away from fall with their white floral freshness into the comfort of the musk, powder, and sandalwood. It certainly smells feminine to my nose all the way until the dry down. The dry down is ultimately more unisex, but it takes a while to get there, so it may not be for the ultra masculine presenting user. The dry down is very warm, cozy, and comforting so this certainly indexes as a winter and night time fragrance to my nose. I wore it out for drinks with some friends on a cold winter evening, and felt perfectly at ease with my scent bubble and its performance.

As people have mentioned, this is a clone for Montale Starry Nights, which I had tried at a duty free and ended up loving. That being said, I never really felt the urge to buy a Montale because of the horrific oxygen cylinder presentation and never let myself pull the trigger on Starry Nights and thought to take the plunge on this one considering SA has been delivering well so far. Having a 1ml tester of the OG, I began my comparative analysis - on the first spray, I could easily make out the connection to Starry Nights, the citruses dominated by rose and powdery backbone, everything was perfect; alas, only it wasn't. Valencia is too airy shrap on the nose, that is primarily attributable to lack of patchouli (mainly) and musk, which is way too tonned down compared to the OG. The OG has a certain depth to it due to that patchouli and keeps itself firmly unisex and arguably even leaning masculine, which is exactly the opposite here in case of Valencia. Performance is actually pretty similar, very loud and long lasting, a real beast mode to put it simply. And the presentation is leaps and bounds better than the OG as well. So all in all, I would say Valencia is a feminine version of Starry Nights and if anything, it is more of an inspired by of the OG. If you wish to own a scent in the same family as of the OG without that horrible presentation, this is a good option; but sadly it is not an exact clone.

I love the other two in this city collection so I just went ahead and bought it, sort of, blind. At opening it's much more masculine than the other two but goes easily into unisex shortly thereafter. Similar beer note initially that does settle down, and absolutely beautiful when it dries down. This is the summer version whereas Casablanca and Florence lean more cozy, sweet and winter-ish. Valencia is less sweet and more fresh. If you love the other two, I'm sure you will like this. Sillage and longevity are as impressive as the others as well, pretty much up to around 12 hours.

I am both excited and slightly scared on what the extrait of this, Spirit of Valencia will bring to the table. If the EDP can knock someone out with a puff or two and last 12 hours or more, then what kind of weapon of mass destruction will the extrait be. 😆

This is definitely interesting. It feels like a more masculine Instant Crush to me. I’d like it to be less tart. It’s very juicy. Decent longevity and projection. Crisp and I can imagine this would shine nicely in early spring.

Another fragrance Frankenstein in a good way. Weird it doesn't have a pralines or cocoa note because it's what I smell in the drydown.

I agree with brumbarche's. Not feminine or masculine enough. I was hoping for something a tad more feminine and fresh as I love and adore Florence. I also saw a review somewhere stating that this leans more to a feminine scent and bought this based on the notes, but I have to disagree. It is certainly pleasant smelling, don't get me wrong. The apple note does not dissipate like in most fragrances, which I like, and the amber and woody notes and rose are nice. There is a touch of sweetness, but it is overpowered by the woody notes that lean "masculine." The fragrance does not develop too much. It doesn't smooth out or become sweeter. It remains the same and sort of fades into a softer version of itself. It does become less crass over time, but not from a development of the notes. It simply sort of fades out with the woody and rose notes remaining there throughout. I almost feel that this would smell better on a man who prefers something light, fresh, and sweet. Although the strong rose note might seem too feminine for some men. I might try layering with something sweeter during the cooler months and seeing if that tones it down a bit.

I love Casablanca its one of my favourites so I thought I would try this one in the series. I received Valencia in the post earlier today and gave myself 3 sprays. Hmmm so far I'm on the fence with this one. It has a smell of Lemsip (cold/flu remedy) off of it. I'm getting a strong smell of honey in the mix with a typical middle eastern burnt wood dry down which is putting me off. So far not for me I'm afraid. I will give it a few more goes to see if it grows on me and if not it will be going into a reed diffuser!!!! Edit: I have developed a headache now after wearing this for a few hours. Very disappointed with this purchase!

Strong smell of incense constantly in background that does not blend well, sticks out like a sore thumb. Too strong, Gives me a headache.

A fresh floral. It smells more western.

Very masculine, fresh and sweet, strong projection and silage, 10+hrs longevity. This will be a no for me. I'm getting a strong blast of screechy vetiver - is that really sandalwood? - that only gets stronger in the dry down. I am writing this post shower where I scrubbed my arms and this beast is still coming through loud and strong, now as a skin scent. Honestly I find it synthetic, not well blended and pretty linear with what I smell as vetiver being the backbone for this scent. I wouldn't recommend as I don't find it well blended or smooth, I'll try layering mine with one of my sweet ouds to see if I can work it at all.

I originally liked it - wasn't sure I wanted to smell like cider though - but at some point it gets very irritating, to the point that it makes my eyes water and sting when sniffing it, so that I want to scratch them for eternity. I had the same sensation with Angel and Mugler Muse by the way. The allergic type or irritation makes it a big pass for me.

Crisp green apple, floral and a strong amber accord. After the Apple opening, the dry down is very much like a lighter version Agent Provocateur fatal intense. Definitely Unisex. I would not repurchase as I think it would be redundant.

Bright floral fruit opening. Dried to the ambroxan version of amber and since I over smell that all I'm getting is cleaning chemicals for the dry down. Projects and lasts.

Very familiar unisex scent - a familiar mix of apple+rose+musk, to which gardenia gives femininity and sandalwood smooths a bit the edges of this mix and thickens it with powder, which I can't distinguish, but feel it's there to add ground. It's loud and with good longevity. I keep picking up the paper with utter curiosity for days after I soak it in this perfume, to study its development. But as often as I like to take a paper home, I can't imagine bringing a bottle of this fragrance and wearing it. Far too potent, and to my taste, it's neither feminine enough to silence its masculine side, nor its masculinity is the kind, which transforms the floral enough so to make it classy. There's some hint of crass hiding in there, too loud for me to ignore. Although it's not my cup of tea I can see how it can be somebody's doubleshot of whiskey.

Omg. I had a sample of this and went to town, two generous sprays to my neck. I feel like i attempted suicide. This is a good dupe for Starry Night, the perfume i absolutely despise. It is also very close to La Yuqawam Jasmine Wisp, another fume i hated so much that i ended up fighting with the seller i bought it from and later on selling it. Performance on this is absolutely nuclear, and not in a good way. I just tried scrubbing it, achieved zero success. Gross. Nobody should smell like this.

Edit: Sooooo I revisited this perfume if I can call it a perfume, it's a weapon, can use it as a self defense spray, use it instead of smelling salts if you are weightlifter. Vile-repellent of every living creature. Wear it around people you hate but remember you will also be smelling it, unless you like to punish yourself and is a thing for you. The reaction to me to this perfume is reminds me when I smelled 30% vinegar from home depot.

I like everything about this - the bottle, the price, the name, the quality of the scent. It opens as a sparkling appley fruity-floral, then quite soon afterwards the sandalwood and amber kick in, giving it a woody power and depth. This is unisex/borderline feminine to me, definitely not a light or girly scent. Am loving Arabian perfumes at the moment.

This was on my blind buy wish list, but I'm glad I first bought the swiss arabian test package and it was also included. Wow how dirty! I have never smelled anything like this and I never wish to smell it again, I couldn't even scrub it off and it was still there for 24 hours. Certainly not a perfume to buy blindly!

This is the smokiest fragrance among the 40 I have. And by far, and strong, and a hidden gem for especially those who like unique formulas!

I know nothing about this fragrance, but these reviews have given me life!!! LOL!!!
