Walaa

I purchased the Love collection discovery set (6 samples) and I ranked Walaa as No. 3 (descending order to favourites). Let me tell you why. Walaa opened up with Amberwood and coriander and I had to raise an eyebrow, but I gave it a minute and what it dried down to redeemed the fragrance. The notes that make this fragrance so very lovely are lavender, Amberwood, violets, fir and cedar. There are appearances of geranium, cinnamon and jasmine, but to my nose, they do not do very much. The floral aromaticness of coriander, fir, violets and lavender is a combination that gives you pause, especially if you're not accustomed to these sorts of aromatic clean fragrances. Walaa is not a strong fragrance compared to the other 5 in the love collection, perhaps it is because it is meant to be a lightly worn fragrance, the kind you'd wear with a suit or button down French cuffed shirt. Of all 6 fragrances, Walaa is the softest, next to Gharaam. Walaa is unisex, and I think it's a straight unisex, neither leaning feminine nor masculine. As it is not a strong performer, it would be more suitable for warmer weather, or a year-round perfume for those a bit more sensitive to strong scents.

This a standard aromatic. I do think this is still more feminine than a truly masculine aromatic. On a woman this scent get compliments because it's not expected. On a man I would say there are much better aromatics to consider. I do a have male scents in my collection because " freshies" for men are way better than the ones for women. So when I smelled Walaa I had to have it because though the scent is marketed as unisex it is feminine and the bottle is ladylike as well. Also the Bergamont in this scent is not overpowering so if is more of a juicy citrus than a zesty citrus.

This is Percival on steroids. Pretty much beast mode, no offensive qualities just Percival. Honestly if you like Percival, Fierce DNA can't go wrong with this one at all. 7/10 for my taste and 10/10 for a clone.

Got it at an arabian perfume shop in my city. I was smelling different perfumes and this one immediately stood out for me because of its green herbal freshness. I wont lie, I don’t like the opening very much as it leans a bit feminine with the violet and the coriander in there is just kind of weird to me, also lots of lavender. But as it starts drying down I like it more and more. I get a kind of honey like smell that I enjoy mixed with woodiness, and citrus along with lavender. It smells very fresh like a clear waterfall or a clear blue sky. I have nor smelled Percival so I cannot make comparisons there. Women seem to really like this scent though as I get complimented and noticed more while wearing. A crowd pleasing fresh take on Fierce

This smells almost identical to Burberry Men, and the fact that they both have bergamot and lavender in their top notes confirms this. Both are good but have only decent performance and the scent while good, is not top tier. For example Hawa by Swiss Arabian that I tried today is a good bit better.

Very designer style of fragrance. It's a nice but boring smell. Too western for my taste. On my skin, this one performs great.

Smells similar to percival. Performance is just OK.

I’ve always preferred MB Legend over Percival. This is also better than the PDM counterpart. I’d say this is closer to the Legend Summer releases.. A little softer tho.. Worthy if you can’t grab a bottle of Legend Summer..
