No 3

I fell in love with the rest of the Switch collection, one by one, last year, but this one didn't do it for me. I had a sample I tried now and then as they can change drastically with the seasons. Just as I thought it was time to write it off- BOOM! The chilly Swedish "summer" was the perfect time and I couldn't get enough, had to get a fb. So far 17-26° C has been perfect for it. Looking at the notes, it's very hard to imagine what it actually smells like, but then again, most Zworykinas have blown my mind and shown me magical places I never before knew existed. Switch No 3 does not give me amazing visuals, like all the other ones in the series, all I see is a brown lump. But what a strangely attractive lump! The vetiver is noticeable, but not in the way vetiver usually is used in perfume, where it cuts through everything and smells like just vetiver. Here it's so perfectly blended with (what I guess is) the styrax, cedar and jasmine, that it never takes over, but still gives that freshness. The jasmine peeks out sometimes (as always, I just love what she does with jasmine, so delicate!) and lets you hear a faint melody, but most of the time it's mixed up in that gorgeous lump. This is one of the hardest perfumes for me to describe, and I've been craving it a lot this summer. Like nothing else I've ever smelled.
