Romantix

this conjures a bittersweet nostalgia that i find both comforting and offputting ... very reminiscent of my wayward teenage years of drinking whiskey & cheerwine, smoking with my friends and boyfriends, cuddled up in the sticky, pungent jackets of men as hot summer sun faded into brisk twilight ... i love this perfume far more than i expected. sweet, but not nearly so sweet as anticipated — there is an irresistible dark and musky undertone

Love! The notes combine into a heady incense that walks the line between sexy and spiritual. Unlike many perfumes, the amber and musk play a quiet supporting role that doesn't get out of balance or overwhelm the composition. The tobacco is more of a dried tobacco note then a lit cigarette. Mature but in a mysterious way. Considering buying a full bottle.

Was expecting more sweetness from this, but on me it smells very musky and woody. Good for layering with other scents if I want a little more depth, but not my favorite on its own.

This leans very masculine on me. The initial spray is very robust and a bit overwhelming. Each time, the scent got caught in my throat and made me cough. The hint of cherry Coca-Cola you might expect is overwhelmed by herbal and woody notes, along with the smokiness from the tobacco and vetiver. The intensity softens a bit as it settles, and some of the sweetness from the vanilla absolute becomes more noticeable, but the cherry cola never really stands out. Longevity was moderate on my skin, lasting about four hours. While the fragrance does seem to match the story in terms of mood, particularly a carefree young musician smoking cigarettes on a fire escape, which is pretty cool, I wouldn’t describe it as fruity or cute. The herbal character and lingering smokiness shift it in a different direction for me.

I was trying to figure out what this reminded me of - and it's either Venus in Tuberose by Universal Flowering and/or Stairway to Heaven by Jul et Mad. These all have pretty varying scent profiles but they also all have this fizzy, aldehydic, bubbly sweetness. Venus in Tuberose is like a purely sweet sparkling 5% champagne or Italian soda, the Jul et Mad perfume is like a cold Ramune soda, whereas Romantix smells like Dr Pepper. There's a rubbery facet here that I do not care for.

You definitely get the fizziness from the cherry Coca-Cola right away! There’s also an herbal element that gives it a botanical touch, like enjoying a cherry coke whilst glamping or on a spiritual retreat. Sage cleaning, crystal collecting but also Prada loving and vain. If this scent was a song, it would be a Lana Del Rey one, and I’m sure she’d like this scent.

I was very excited to try this. Not at all what I was expecting. It's a huge dose of fizzy soda syrup. I'm not sure I'm getting much more then that. It leans herbal on the dry down but it's still just soda syrup to me. One of the more realistic cola fragrances. Well blended. It's sticky sweet but not in a overly sweet way.
