Suspended Water Lily

evokes fond memories of early mornings at the beach. clear blue water, salty skin, floral salty air, honeydew from breakfast on my breath. the fragrance starts off strong and ethereal, eventually drying down to a subtler salty and sandy skin scent.

This reminds me of what a mermaid would smell like. It's cooling aquatic watery lily and Gardenia It definitely smells like a sunny day in the ocean not on the beach but in the ocean. Beautiful reminds me of Salty Tiarè by Sãlum Parfums

A lone gardenia jutting out over a sea cliff. The algae note prevents a delicate blend from becoming too precious. I sent a sample to my Jo Malone mom and she bought a full bottle.

love the clarity of this smell..... a very freshwater scent that still smells clean and green does remind me of lys mediterranee sans the spicy powdery backdrop it has

I absolutely adore this perfume. I love finding small perfume houses that cater to my needs perfectly. I was looking for an aquatic floral scent, and this is better than I could've ever imagined. My favorite perfume house is Kerosene, which is known for its strong sillages and scents, so I was a little taken aback by how moderate this one is. It's not weak, but in comparison, it's noticeably weaker than my other perfumes. It's a little overpriced in my opinion, but I can't complain since I love it so much.

I just got the full sample set from Syd (highly recommend), and this was the first one I chose to wear out and about. I don't normally enjoy floral, but this is so beachy and smooth. It feels like I'm a little kid in the aquarium gift shop. Everything is translucent and blue and making a bubbly sound effect. My mom put too much sunscreen on me, and I can still smell the beach on my clothes from this morning. A great feeling.

updated review- wasn't keen on this first wear, but it's grown on me. Super realistic white floral aquatic scent, maybe reminiscent of the potent smell of flowers on their way out, but nevertheless a beautiful natural smell. Green, floral, a little salty and musky. Literally as if you're in a luscious water garden in late summer. I don't think I personally want to smell like this, but it's bloody beautiful.

This is probably gorgeous for those who can smell it but I’m really struggling to detect this one. What I can smell is a nice but so so faint sea air scent. The smell of salty hair when you’ve come out of the ocean, but I really have to sniff my wrist closely to pick it up. A pass for me.

This smells very much like some seashells after cleaning them. I don't think I can recall any aquatic actually implementing the seashell notes, so this is unique even in my collection of aquatics. Some light resemblance to other wet lotus scents like lilyphea or the drop d'issey series.

In my search for the perfect mermaid scent, I came across Suspended Waterlilly. I think this perfume smells like what I’d imagine a water nymph would. I would say it’s less oceanic and more like a freshwater grotto. It’s fresh and atmospheric but also has a damp, plant-matter undertone to it and maybe just a little animalistic. I personally like it and I think it’s very unique, but I don’t think it would be a great blind buy if you’re thinking of purchasing a full bottle. I do wish it lasted a bit longer and I find that it’s lacking in body and depth (not that it isn’t a complex scent, but it just feels like it’s missing something). I personally like to layer it with Lush’s Lust perfumes to make up for it.

strong florals instantly give way to a more aquatic experience - walking close to the tide edge on a hot, long day where a lot detritus skins the sand. salty, rocky undersides, crushed abandoned shells, and eventually an untidier, almost fecal note of watery decay - not that I'm complaining. sunscreen seems to exacerbate this effect. unfortunately, it doesn't last long on my skin; not a hint of it is left behind after two hours, almost on the dot

This is really pretty. Unfortunately melon and gardenia give me strong bed bath and bodywork’s associations. But it does smell like a freshwater grotto. This is a very clean and serene scent. I regret not getting the full discovery set- I think this perfumer has a really creative and beautiful nose. I’m very intrigued to smell their other creations now.

One of the most beautiful fragrances I have smelled. It so fresh like sniffing a flower and then comes the ocean. The only thing I wish is that it lasted longer. I barely get an hour. Even 2-3 would suffice. Might just be skin chemistry or my sample but I am so sad

an oceanic floral perfect for those that would pretend to be mermaids as children. deeply alluring and stunningly beautiful. has an almost animalic quality at its base that adds dimension that sets it apart from other florals. misty, delicate, calm.

first impression: gardenia bushes surrounding a freshwater pool, a bowl of cut cantaloupe, you can't see the ocean from where you are, but the salty breeze still wafts through the air.

So unbelievably indolic that I’m not picking up anything else. Very surprising.
