Bliss

This is along the lines of a Body Shop perfume. It is a nice skin scent, suitable for warm weather. It can turn alittle synthetic on my skin at first, but the rose is so intense its masking that effect. Its always the case, the paper sample smelling abit different- I expected more freesia, I got more rose/peony instead oh well not complaining much i love rose. It's a soapy scent, must be the violet, not powdery, more like clean sheets & sunshine. It really is summer vacation in a bottle - thats also my mom's impression when I sprayed some on her. It kinda reminds me of Oceanus by Body Shop i used to love when I was little - they share a few notes, but this is not aquatic at all. Itd be goof for summer and spring time. When you get wet it smells really good. Longevity and silage are weak. I also liked Dream from the bunch, and Love must be the safest blind buy as its almost like a celebrity perfume. Harmony being the sweetest warmer composition, the rest: embrace and balance are too powdery (embrace reminds me of how babies smell haha).

I smelled this in the sample booklet of all the Symetrie scents and this was my favorite of them all. Sadly, the actual perfume doesn't have the same magic essence that it had on paper. I feel it was less fresh, and had more depth on the paper sample. To my nose, Bliss smells like a mixture of Herbal Essences Rose Hip shampoo and Versace Bright Crystal. It's a lightly sweet, almost honey like rose with a fresh aquatic vibe, pretty much like a shampoo. I feel like on paper, it was like a rose-centered version of Good Fortune from Viktor and Rolf, which I adore. However this is still nice. I will have to update longevity but sillage is strong enough that I catch whiffs of it every few seconds.

Bliss is indeed blissful. Pear and peony play so nicely together, and the matronly rose balances the floral notes that are as perky as a Sweet-tart. If powdery, earthy scents are not your style, don't be intimidated by the patchouli and violet that are listed. For me, they are non-existent. No, its a feminine, lightly scented, but well rounded flower number, despite its linear pyramid. Sillage is intimate, and longevity is fairly short played. I think this is a scent you wear for yourself, expecting no more from it, than it expects from you.

I have a paper sample of this and it’s quite lovely! The pear and florals are soft and smell like walking through a garden. Roses are fresh. The violet is a touch strong for me. The amber and other base notes are subtle and gently support the flowers. Very nice.

Bright spring time floral with a sweetness that is difficult to define. I assume this comes from the Pear note as it is a fresh, fruit-like sweetness yet this fragrance is not fruity. It remains floral with a hint of soap throughout its wear length.
