Perhaps I took the title to literally - I do that, you know. I feel that there is a certain compact we make as consumers, with companies that produce our fragrances. Call it false advertising, if you will. So, when I tested this sample, I was shocked by the aquatic loudness of its opening. When I think of 'dreamy scents', I think of soft, warm, almost fuzzy notes like lavender, vanilla, sandalwood, and rose. But this was bright, bold, and certainly comfortable with its masculinity. This is a Symetrie product, so I can almost say with certainty now, it will be intimate, linear, fleeting, and slightly soapy. All their perfumes have had these qualities, along with a made-for-market price. Don't expect D & G Light Blue - they're playing the same sport, yes, but in entirely different leagues. This is a welter-weight, modern Coolwater -- very aquatic, with citruses juxtaposed against spicy cedar. It is truly unisex, and dare I say delightful? But one thing it definitely is not, is dreamy!

Starts out bright and sweet with strong citrus and aquatic notes plus an underlying hint of orange blossom (honeyed floral). The woods begin to present themselves at around 5mins of wear, then the frgrance goes through a clean woody phase before ending warm, floral, sweet and slightly woody. Also has quite a clean soapy feel (which, seems to be the theme of this brand).

Really nice alternative to Light Blue! They smell pretty much identical. I'm very picky when it comes to aquatics, mainly because they tend to wax too synthetic. But Dream (for the price) is acceptable! Great to throw in your gym bag and spritz on after a workout and shower.

I have a paper sample of this. I think so far it's the nicest of the three I tested (Dream, Balance, Bliss) but I probably wouldn't buy it. It's sweet and bright, clean, crisp but I have other scents I like better.

First Impressions: (booklet from fragrancenet) DEFINITELY a Dolce & Gabbana light blue dupe! :). I would even say this one maybe me more softer and better. Verdict- pass

A really nice aquatic fragrance with citrus vibes. I have a paper sample and it’s quite pleasant.

Citrus, apple and orange blossom. Sweet, slightly soapy, musky, smooth and floral. Yeah, yeah, D&G Light Blue alike, but it's honestly much better. It's smooth, sweetened and less soapy. It was a blind buy so there's not much to say. It's okay.

imo its a closer dupe to D&G Light Blue Intense than the og but it really isnt worth buying bc it has no stay power. i’d rather just spend the $60-$70 and be set for hours instead of having to reapply almost immediately

i bought this blindly because i have the harmony scent and i like it a lot, this one is just... meh. it honestly smells like a powdery surface cleaner. which isn’t bad, but not something i want to be smelling like lol

Many citrus fruits with even more soapy Musk Freshness. Very synthetic. Reminds me of D&G Light Blue. My rating 5/10

Smells nice but lasted maybe 45 mins on skin and a few hours on clothes.

Yeah, it smells pleasant, but like who in their right mind makes fragrances that last about ONE HOUR and then expects consumers to pay between $30 to $60 for them?!! ESPECIALLY these days when you can just get a good, LONG-LASTING "Clone fragrance" that costs about half the price?!! GTFOH! Also, why the hell are ALL the Men's offerings EDT's while the Women's are EDP's 🤣. IMO, fragrances like the ones in the Symetrie line are a waste of time and money for the consumer, these fragrances are border-line offensive BC of how ATROCIOUS the performance is! LMAO! Stop ripping people off A$$ Holes!

This is giving my D&G Light Blue vibes and Henry Rose Jakes House vibes. I dislike both of those perfumes and I hate this. This is something a d-bag wears. I dislike most aquatics and find them annoying and those who wear them annoying. Sorry but that is how I feel. If you like aquatics, you will like this but a hard no for me.

From what I remember of Light Blue, it was muskier and harsher than this one. I did a dab sampling so I'll have to report back after a typical wearing, but I really like this one and would categorize it as unisex, especially by today's standards (the wood elements are obvious). Overall, a very nice blend, with a touch of a synthetic quality (probably from the "sea notes") that aren't too much of an issue (at least for me) with the warm weather scents. Strength seems to be in the good to very good range. UPDATE: With a regular wearing I am more impressed, as the blend is very nice but there's an obvious aroma chemical "sea" note, which works well (usually I find these kinds of scents too synthetic smelling). And it's strong and lasts (in this case, unlike so many others, I don't understand how anyone could say it is weak or doesn't last long). I'd rather wear this than any "masculine" aquatic scent I can remember. If you find this too "chemical," then you can spray into the air walk through the mist (close your eyes so that it doesn't get in them).

I have D&G Light Blue....and recently bought this. They are parallel in scent. After a couple of months I can honestly say I prefer Symetrie Dream. D&G has a lighter sharper citrus scent which is nice but "tart". Symetrie's scent has that woody note which makes it much better to me. However, Symetrie only lasts 30-45min, lol! I love to use it as an aftershower or bedtime scent. Otherwise, if I'm leaving the house I would have to layer D&G with this Symetrie so I can last worth something.

I just tried a sample of this and WOW its so BEWITCHING and enchanting. Dream fits its name PERFECT! It is very magical, dreamy ,soft and lofty scent. The sandalwood and musk add an extra layer of dimension to this fragrance. I LOVE it. I can't to buy a big bottle of this when I get paid on Friday hehe. VERY IMPRESSIVE HOUSE!

Great fresh, crisp fruit on first application. It goes through a pasty middle section that is probably the sandalwood and orange blossom combo on my skin, then dries down to a clear wood ending that my wood-amping skin shrieks into piercing cedar. Loved the opening, but it didn't wear well on me over time.

Finally found a Citrus marine scent that I ADORE. I got an entire sample book from this brand & this was my favorite that they have (they are all very nice). Just bought it for my mom. Fragrance.net has a great deal on this scent and the bottle looks expensive beautiful for display! 🌊 🍋
