Lovley fresh, clean, aftershave like scent. Soft mintiness, balanced musk, herbal lavender and a clean woody note (more like pine than cedar, to my nose). A perfect everyday work scent as it has nothing potentially offensive in it.

My goodness. . A did a blind test without knowing what it was. I have picked this out as a woman's scent. Green floral chypre, herbal with a soapy quality. I smell lots of honey suckle. Drys down into a sweet pink bubblegum. Going to be honest, one can get just so much from a paper sample.

This is Black Ice car air freshener as a cologne. Smells amazing, unfortunately doesn’t last. It’s also giving Coolwater vibes but is more linear.

I smelled this from the catalog. This smells like Vintage Cool Water. MUCH better than the modern forumulation

Just to echo what others have said, this is cool water through and through. Nothing new here

I have zero qualms about basing reviews of Symetrie based on their scent strips because that's exactly how their company wants you to judge their fragrances. If they're going to sell their product that way, then they reap the consequences, for good or for bad. I've actually found most of Symetrie's men's fragrance line quite decent (if unspectacular), but this one is just too generic and synthetic for me. To me this is what AI would generate if you could ask it to produce a standard men's perfume--it's not offensive in any way, but nor is it very interesting. It's mint and lavender and sage, and it's pleasant enough, but entirely unmemorable.

Can't track the comparison b/n cool water, but it's very weak and has a synthetic headache inducing undertone. I've had this bottle for a year and LITERALLY have never worn it since the scent never seem to change through micrateion at all (i don't expect scents to magically turn into a different one through micration, worry not t'was a test). longevity is skin-to-nose, and is def a masculine leaning cologne and watered down at that. Probs will throw away....idk

This puts the water in “cool water” ... what I mean is this fragrance is basically a watered down version of Davidoff’s Cool Water and only lasts for about an hour. Doesn’t smell bad and could work for an after shower spritzer, but even at $15-$20 a bottle, I still think this is overpriced. If you’re looking for something in this realm, a better option would be Classic Match (a decent $8 drakkar noir clone)

Applied this from the sample paper that comes with FragranceNet orders. Smelled nice for a bit up top, but once I realized it is reminiscient of GIT and CW, I just washed it off. Nothing wrong with the scent, but if I was going to wear GIT or one of it's clones, I already have several options in my collection. Pass for me.

Picked up a bottle for around $40 USD from FragranceNet after going through the sample booklet. Sweeter, watered down version of Cool Water with less Calone and even lesser longevity. Projection is pretty limited even immediately after spraying & disappears completely within 1 to 2 hours. Even on clothing the scent disappears around the 2 hours mark. Though I like the scent, I really didn't expect the longevity to be so weak. Another reviewer says it "puts the water in cool water" and that's exactly how I feel after using it too. Watered down Cool Water at most. Because the longevity is so short, I can't really say it's cheap even at its price range - If you're planning on wearing it be prepared to reapply every 3 hours or it will pretty much dissipate, even if you overspray. Already burned through half the bottle in 1 month (Summer) because overspraying is the only way to make the scent last for at least several hours. Honestly, would recommend either Cool Water (if you like more oceanic notes) or Aspen For Men (if you like more fresh pine) if you want something similar but longer lasting.

First Impressions: (fragrancenet booklet) Ehhh, smells like a generic fougere for men. Nothing special, it reminds me of your basic shaving crème, or Irish spring soap. Now that I looked at the “reminds me of” section it definitely does smell like cool water by Davidoff. That’s so inexpensive, and generic smelling to me. Also, cool water is cheap online so there really is no reason to get a dupe for that. Verdict- pass

Sharp unbalanced mint/lavender freshie. Headache inducing cheapie that smells cheap. But might do the job for who is used to Sauvage and Eros.

This is not a true review and I am not rating this one. I, like most of the other people on the Symetrie pages have received the catalog of fragrance test strips from Fragnet. However I don't think it's fair to come here and give a rating or review based on the paper strip. We don't rate designer brands based on what you smell on a magazine test strip. You wait until you smell the real thing. It's not going to be quite the same. I urge people to withhold judgement on this brand - the full bottles are only about $17 anyway if you are really interested. I do really want to get this one though, despite it being marketed towards men. The "icy greens, cool mint leaves, and winter air" description appeals to me, and all the other notes sound intriguing. The strip did have a bit of a masculine lean but I don't care about gender constructs. Sometimes I want to wear something really feminine, sometimes I don't. This one is going on my want list! Also, I do like the look of the bottles and the name Symetrie.

TonyAKAMrClean took the word right out of my mouth. This is Cool Water, but sweeter. Even the notes are shared and it makes me wonder if this line is a dupe line, because it's the third or fourth of their offerings that smell markedly familiar to me. It's not a bad scent, and as KikiLee says, very wearable, but it's not new. Mint, lavender, musk, aquatic notes...this is Cool Water.

This is a basic mint and sage male cologne scent. Not what I like. I'm not a big fan of mint in fragrance anyway. If you like mint it is very noticeable. The prices for this brand are very inexpensive and I think I may pick up 1 or 2 of the women's perfumes. I liked Embrace and Harmony best.

I'm a fan of aromatics and this is very similar to Aspen. I liked this one the most out of the all the paper samples I received with my Fragrancenet order. A lovely minty fresh mountain air, new car kind of scent. This would be good as a vehicle fragrance.

*Review based off test strip from catalog* Cool Water mixed with the little trees black ice car freshener. Nothing groundbreaking, however it smells pleasant.

Smells like Cool Water. But not today's Cool Water, the Cool Water I remember growing up.

Interesting that they’re still putting out Cool Water clones.
