Tabac Men Fire Power

I finally smelled the Envy for men the original. But I didn't even know Envy when I purchased Fire Power. Tabac Fire Power gets surprisingly positive reactions and the price is beyond imagination. (< 20 € 50ml). So, I smelled Envy in the meantime, and I get it. I recognized the similarities right away. But they're not identical and to be honest, I like Firepower way better. This is why: Envy reminds me of the juice of mixed pickles with fish in a glass. Yes that's horrible and it must be one of the last things that I want to smell like voluntarily. Fire Power does not have that effect. It smells gorgeous. The radiation and longevity is worse so Envy wins in that category. But 20 bucks for 50 ml is a good compensation. By the way, the section "This perfume reminds me of" is again a troll section. Herod? these 2 have no similarities. Bergamot and citrus notes are only noticeable in the opening alongside cloves, lavender, tobacco and the sweetness of vanilla and benzoin. 20 minutes later, the citrus notes vanish. the dry-off smells fantastic. cloves/a bit patchouly/cardamom//benzoin. Coumarin. If the bottle didn't look like an aftershave drugstore fragrance and the price was $100, it would get more attention. edit: Rip. Fire Power was discontinued. I don't understand why companies keep discontinuing their best. the list keeps growing.

It's over. It's discontinued. Another gem is gone. The complainers can be happy now. I have a sample of Envy, and all I can say is that Fire Power is the better Envy, without that sour smell of mixed pickles. Tabac Fire Power is an interessting masculine frag with cloves, lavender, tobacco, tonka bean, and vanilla, without any sour notes. It is just a warm spicy men's fragrance. Tabac is a classic manufacturer of aftershaves in Germany since 1959. they don't produce bad quality. I wish I had bought three bottles of it.

Gucci Envy Vibes for sure! Lovely smell And I bought 2 30cl bottles for 70% off at 3 euro's a piece! Jealous yet? Envy me! (See what I did there?) If you love and miss Gucci Envy, only the best fragrance ever made, you might want to get your hands on this. It's not as deep and rich as the original, there's a freshness to it tat I dindn't get in Envy. But hey, if you're not a millionaire, or even a thousandair don't waste 300 bucks on a vintage bottle, get this instead!

This is very close to Gucci envy for men (I own both envy and this). Masculine, warm, spicy, and all around very nice. It's maybe not quite exact when you compare them side by side but the resemblance is unmistakable and the differences are not negatives. Even with shipping from Germany to Canada this was a great, cost effective buy. Now I can wear this excessively and be a bit more conservative with the discontinued gem that is the OG

Got it pretty cheap after reading all the reviews and wanting something that reminded me of gucci Envy, was not disapointed! Smells very close to Envy after about 30 mins of sitting. In the opening it just is a sweeter version of gucci Envy. Would recommend to anyone seeking the Envy vibe for a fraction of the cost.

Love this stuff, do not know it smells like Gucci Envy men. Never had that one... The best of the Tabac line IMO Only available in the size 30 and 50 ml. Got me some of these in both sizes.

Bought this cheapie for 8€ at a drugstore in germany. I always liked the classic tabac for men scent, so without thinking to long I did a blind buy. back at home only two little spatter needed to fill the room with this heavy scent. For me, the topnote smells like incense with a touch of citrusnotes and some powdery lavender. The begining is near of getting to the tipping point of being two much mature and strong to wear for a man in his late twenties. But after an hour this scent settles down, vanilla together with tobacco are dominating the basenote and adding a sweet and slight creamy character. A budgetscent with a beastmode opening that will perfect fit to lower temperatures.

Very nice, cozy, creamy warm and spicy barbershop. Goes well with Jean Arthes Cotton Club Rhytm'n'Blues or with Acqua di Parmas Colonia Essenza. Moderate longevity, projects only 2-3 feets for the first hour then turns to intimate. I think except for hot summer days this could easily be worn all year long and to almost any occasion.

Mostly vanilla with other undertones(citrus on top, lavander on middle and very mellow base). The drydown reminded me Givenchy Pi, which also plays around vanilla note. The top and middle note do not last, it goes to the base within 1h. Very nice neutral smell

This is a sweet, very intense and somehow old fashioned tobacco. Not a safe blind buy, i don't like it and my husband hated it. I think there are better and more modern tobacco scents out there. Main notes are tobacco and cardamon. It is a quality fragrance,but not a crowd pleaser and not sexy. I imagine a 50+, heavy pipe smoker wearing this. Final note: 5,5/10

This is definitely for older folks like 50+. It's not that bad but If you are under 40 and you consider yourself as sporty or "cool" this doesn't increase your sex appeal.

Purchasing this cheap as a few people had mentioned it smells similar to gucci envy. No. No it does not. Not even slightly. What it does smell like is sickening. And cheap. I gave it away.

I've been looking for a 'new' Envy for years now and read on a Facebook group that this was a clone, so I rushed off to my local drugstore where cheapie scents are sold and gave it a try. Initially I was disappointed. It's been some years since my romance with Envy but I didn't smell a lot of similarity between this and the Gucci masterpiece. It was just a generic, cheap smelling synthetic drug store stocking stuffer. I mean - we're talking less than 7 Euros for 30mls. So I put it back on the shelf and continued to feel sad that I wasn't ever going to find a replacement for Envy. About 30 minutes later I smelled my wrist again. Something had changed, and what was coming off my wrist was starting to jog some long dormant scent cells. This el cheapo knock off was actually trying hard (and doing not a bad job) to convince me it could become my Envy replacement. It still wasn't quite there, but I was a lot more intrigued than i was disappointed by this stage. Another 15 minutes go by, the top notes have completely faded away and ..wonder of all wonders....I have Gucci's Envy for Men - my signature scent from more than 15 years ago, back in my life again. They're pretty damn hard to distinguish, and with there being almost no Envy around anymore, the chance of someone telling you it smells like an inferior version of Envy is next to nothing. Give it a try guys. Once the boring opening has gone, this is remarkably similar to Envy. It's very cheap. It might give you skin conditions or cancer - who knows what has gone into it at this price point - but if you're looking to reminisce and revisit that beautiful Gucci Envy magic, i can't imagine it getting any closer than this.

Review in 2020! I got this Firepower for men after reading like crazy here and on forums because I miss my Gucci Envy like crazy. I have like 5ml left in my original from 2003-4 or something and wow...I miss it. BUT! I bought 2 of these 50ml bottles for around 300 bucks each. Ok price but cheap if it would make me smell like Envy. I got the bottles after waiting 1,5week , opened the box, opened the package, picked the bottle, opened the thing and smelled and WAAAOOOOOOOOOOOUUHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg....speechless....I couldn't believe my nose and what I had in front of me....this was The ENVY BOMB! I was crying and laughing in the same time and almost fell to the floor, I was in shock, major shock! I must say it's 85-90% Envy and I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY I FOUND THIS! It first started of as one of those Dyptique perfumes, can't remember the name but you'll find out based on the notes. Gypsy water could be or something like that. Or wait maybe that's a Byredo perfume? Dunno. Anyways, if you find it cheap and wanna live through all of your Envy memories, look no further. Of course it can't be 100% but it's way above 90% and ofc depending on your skin it will smell differently and evolve into something I dunno, but if you want a Gucci Envy Clone, look no further You WON'T be disappointed. This is as close at it can be I must say. Some ladies smelled this on me yesterday who's been working for 20 years with perfumes and they got BLOWN AWAY. B L O W N A W A Y ! Look no further guys or girlfriends who wanna have this cause this IS a SPICE BOMB! If a perfume could kill corona viruses and covid19, this is it ;) Much love.

I will refrain myself from talking about its supposed similarities to Gucci envy, never tried that one and I have no idea about how close is man fire power to its famous counterpart. However I dont understand people who voted for strong or enormous sillage for this perfume, to say that those votes are misleading is understatement. This fragrance has solid tobacco semi sweet scent that after spraying lies dead on your skin for 3-4 hours. And thats it. Sillage? Projection? Dream on. This is one of those fragrances that in order to smell it you need to press your nose to your skin and even then it has shallow and impotent scent. By the way, for the so called cheapie 100 ml of this fragrance will cost you between 30-40 euros. For comparison I have just bought Zara's Elegant opulence for men, 90 ml for 12 euros, amazing scent that fills entire room after 3-4 sprays. Thats a good cheapie to recommend. Tabac man fire power is a hard pass for me. Huge dissapointment

I remember when I first smelled the original Tabac in Austria back in the 80s. I loved it, and I love it still. Today I walked into a Bipa in Vienna with a friend and while she was shopping I noticed this red little Tabac bottle next to me on the shelf. I sprayed it on my wrist and wow, I was shocked how good it smelled on my skin. A calming semisweet, citrusy, creamy smell. For this low price I have never smelled anything this good, except the original Tabac back in the days. 3 hours later I can still smell it and I absolutely love it. I will go back to Bipa tomorrow and buy this. I always buy and try new fragrances but I rarely find anything this exciting, different, and enjoyable. I guess I am old school, to me the old Armani's Eau Pour Homme is still the king of men's fragrances.

the opening of this smells like a cheap barbershop cologne with a slightly metallic note. but after the top notes disappeared i can clearly detect a scent thats almost the same like the drydown of my long lost friend Envy men, and it lasts for hours. please do not let mislead you by the price, look of the bottle or the name of this fragrance (to me the whole marketing campaign does actually not reflect the fragrance itself..) give it a try, ignore the first hour after you sprayed it on your skin and let it develop. you may will be surprised (in a very good way..) especially if you are a fan of the drydown of gucci‘s magic Envy men.

Well... this perfume smells more expensive than it is for sure. Does it smell like Envy? Kind of... I mean Tabac Man is not 100% clone, it has similar vibe and I am being a huge fan of Envy I can confirm similarities. I don’t like the bottle design, it looks cheap and doesn’t suit the smell and campaign is even worse. Overall it is more simplified version of Envy, it doesn’t have that richness, but I can recommend it at least to try and it’s very cheap so...

Do not do business with below reviewer currently going by “wyattwadlow” He’s a scammer and offers to trade on a lot of different pages. I own Gucci Envy, Floris Santal, Carven Homme, Maison Crivelli Santal Volcanique and this. If you like any of the fragrances mentioned then Tabac Firepower is in the same family and might be for you. Cheaper, less luxurious, less rich than Envy, but overall not bad for a cheapie. I wouldn’t buy this expecting an improvement on any of the fragrances mentioned but it’s not that bad.
