This is rose, saffron and oud executed with deft control. Do not expect any big, bombastic accords, this one is gentile and stylish, reserved and muted. Yet still, it’s got enough heft, particularly from the saffron to warrant a steady hand when applying the oil to the pulse points. It’s hugely wearable and totally universal. A big like from me.

A pleasing beautiful floral woody Oriental scent, this is quite a delectable confection of a perfume. The perfume opens with a bouquet of flowers including rose, iris and saffron flower. The heart is cypriol and gurjun balsam. The perfume settles into its dense powdery base of patchouli, amber, synthetic musk and Oud relatively quickly. The unisex scent (perfume oil) has moderate sillage and good longevity. Not hugely innovative but very nice and happy scent. Enjoy!

Amazing scent ...a lesser sweet floral than that of Lancôme L’Autre Oud in the opening hours, but I can already detect other notes surfacing come the dry down. The Indian (Assam) Oud stays from start to finish, giving of a powdery and creamy feel.
