Cherry Saffron

I'm not really a gourmand person, but I've tried quite a few cherry scents and have decluttered them all. I disliked some of the men's cologne notes in Tom Ford's Lost Cherry; Born to Stand Out's Indecent Cherry melted into a doll head synthetic mess on my skin, Cherry Punk disappointed me, Mancera Wild Cherry didn't even resemble fruit to my nose, and while Kayali's Burning Cherry stayed in my collection the longest, ultimately the synthetic notes irked me, I wrote "plastic in a tin can" in my spreadsheet, and that was that. I did seem to like BohoBoco Wet Cherry Liquor in sample form, but never bothered to purchase a bottle. So here we are--I got this cute little bottle on the resale market and had low expectations. It opened with a burst of alcohol and cough syrup, but then--to my surprise--it hung around. I sprayed over 3 hours ago, and so longevity is good. I get cherry syrup now, but a bit of something else, spicy honey earthiness that works really well as a supporting cast, lifting the cherry and keeping it fairly linear. It's a sweet syrupy cherry, grounded in honey, earth and wood and almond. I mean--did they do it? Actually create a cherry fragrance that lasts and doesn't skew plastic??? Wow.

This is an awesome cherry fragrance! When I smell this I get the juiciest, sweetest cherry perfume I've put my nose to and I own a quite a few. I do pick up on the bitter almond and tonka, no saffron tho. Cherry is the star here, I don't get much else. I think the syrup note lends to the sweetness. This makes it great to layer with other perfumes and wear alone. This perfume does leave a little oil when sprayed, so be careful with clothes. It last for a long time though. Longevity: 8/10 I Projection: 8/10 Overall Experience: 8.5/10

This is a nice cherry almond fragrance. There is resemblance to Lost Cherry in the nutty, almond and cherry aspect. But the booziness isn't here like it is in Lost Cherry. I like LC more than this. Performance is decent. Keep in mind that my skin eats frags quickly - even with moisturizing my skin first, which I always do. But for the price, Cherry Saffron is a good option for cherry and almond lovers. I really like the bottle too.

I’ve been sampling a lot of different cherry fragrances the past few months, and I think this is the best one. This is definitely a sweet cherry scent, not sour cherry, and it’s amazing for layering. Longevity is better than most, and sillage is a bit more on the intimate side when you don’t overspray.

VERY cherry, a bit candied, no saffron... confused as to why “saffron” is included in the name of this fragrance, but I digress. Quite strong. I like to layer this with Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry to bring out the cherry note in Lovefest more prominently.
