Itim Kati

The name "Itim Kati" means coconut icecream in Thai language. As it was named, the scent is composed of coconut and icecream, which is made of cream and milk scents. It's very easy to enjoy. The sillage is not too strong so it's kinda friendly to wear. However, I have more love for another pair scent of this one, "Lamoon", which is inspired from another original Thai sweet. But the scent is not listed on Fragrantica yet so I'll keep the review for that one when the perfume appears on the platform.

Such a dreamy, creamy gourmand. Feels like eating roasted coconut ice cream, drizzled with sweetened condensed milk while sitting by a jasmine vine being warmed by the summer sun. It’s not the typical sunscreen coconut scent. If you own Happy Dust, please layer the two. It’s a lethal combo.

One of the best launch from Tada Parfumeur in this season. It's a gourmand, coconut & vanilla perfume that gives me the Asian vibe. It's a bit feminine but I guess that men can still use it in casual wear.

It's the scent of creamy coconut icecream. Yet another not boring vanilla scent. This is a very good choice to increase more variety of vanilla & coconut fragrance collection.

Finally found a Tada perfume I like from top to bottom. To my nose it smells like Thai street cart coconut ice cream with a bit of condensed milk. It's creamy and smooth, but not too thick and stays light and icy like a sherbet. The dry down is nice rich sweet coconut & vanilla and a heavy dose sandalwood. edit: I've been wearing for a week now, the dry down reminds me a bit of that sharp musky coconut in Vanilla Powder. It’s not a dupe by any stretch though.

I blind bought a bottle of this perfume hoping it would be what I imagined per the note pyramid. Sadly what I got instead was a glimpse of that coconut gourmand with a heavy overdose of spiky sharp amber woods. One spray of this on skin and I had to go scrub it off. Despite that, I could still smell the chemical screechiness on my arm 12 hours later. Whatever aromachemical they used for the woods is incompatible with a segment of the population, offensively so. It’s like a burning tire, acetone, paint thinner type of smell that engulfed every other note.

For some reason it’s naturally not synthetically sharp and high-pitched on my skin. I really wish I got what everyone else is describing.
