Eau de Rose

went on a green rose with almost a saffron note, not like SL Fille or Majeste or Calligraphy Rose but more like Chopard Rose Malaki without the oud, then a very candied citrus then the rose came back black-currant fruity this time (not jammy) and you smell the osmanthus with a little musk then the fruits tame and it's mainly a rose that is a bit wilted and saved between pages of a book with the juices pressed out. The final final is a slightly woody pretty rose. I am a rose fanatic. My fave note. I like this because it is interesting and different but I don't LOVE it as in drop-dead gorgeous. Everything doesn't come together in a way that WOWS me. Pretty. Interesting. A rose fragrance that is a like. The base is nothing really special unless you love rose fragrances. Edit: This is a "dark" rose fragrance; so, you think winter. I just put it on for the first time in summer and am loving it! The rhubarb and the grapefruit bloom. It goes on sweet, oily, jammy and tart. Wow. Glad I pulled this out in the heat of the day!

I considered buying this fragrance but delayed my purchase for awhile. Finally, it went on clearance and I got it. The first time I wore it I received a compliment that I smell really good. I do not recognize anything beside the rose and patchouli but it smells like a complex perfume. I found it somewhat similar to Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin, that kind of rose. I have no regrets of getting a large bottle of it.

This is what I have been looking for all these years of collecting! I LOVE rose and love citrus secondly. This has it all. To my nose it is a dark soapy rose. Smells like a mix of Chloe New and Stella Rose Absolute Intense! Simply beautiful!!!! I bought this blindly and it is the BEST blind buy of my lifetime! I got it for around 75 at TJ Maxx online. Best purchase ever.

I had high expectations for this fragrance, and although it is a pretty little thing there is nothing special about it. Another jammy rose with hints of wood in the background. The nicest part has to be the opening, the tart rhubarb is really nice in contrast with the heavy sweetness of this fragrance. But that only lasts for an hour. Don't get any of the frankincense either, which was kind of a bummer for me because that was an note I was excited for. Even though I am not wowed I don't think its bad either. Just another sweet designer rose fragrance that we all have seen before. Very good longevity and sillage.

It opens with a really fresh rose, lemon and grapefruit. Ten minutes in it smells like fresh, lush roses on an unfinished wood table. I can smell the incense way in the back. I can't wait to see how this lasts, and develops!

Beautiful rose scent, I am surprised by the longevity of it..almost 12 hours, wow !
