Water Me

I blind bought the Olfactory Winner Bad Lily with the Water Me decant. I kinda wish I bought a full bottle of this instead of Bad Lily, because this one seems to last much longer on me. Since I am a plant lover and love gardening, I had to try this. You know how the terracota pot gets the white spots from limestone, if you water the plant with tap water? So that is quite how it smells and feels. Combined with the smell of sun-dried coral limestone, still partially wet from the sea... Fantasy. So comforting and grounding. I will need a full bottle.

Smells like watermelon and calone from the nozzle. On my skin, a very light men’s cologne feel. The woodiness is not intolerable, but it is balanced by something bright, almost zesty.

Smells like water-drenched, limestone-y soil. Unlike any other fragrance in this category that I have sampled. Very original and also weirdly nostalgic for me.

It smells like crying in the forest

a colorful patch of thirsty garden flowers receiving their first flush of rainwater after begging for a drink. dew sitting on green leaves, and the scent of moistened dark earth. the main note is watery, but not marine or salty like other water notes, moreso reminds me of rainwater collected in a mason jar, or saline eyedrops. they somehow captured the scent of fresh rainwater falling from the sky, and mixed it with dirt and flowers. very neat

Oh my god this is so conceptual and perfect at conveying a certain visual and emotion Freshly watered soil of violets on a sunny dawn at summer. Innocence, sadness, being overwhelmed and crashing It manages to be sweet but non-cloying yet also staying highly evocative and strong visuals. Must have for aquatic scent lovers.
