Berga Sandal

bought the hand lotion version of berga sandal on my trip to seoul over the summer. although i don't really understand its comparisons to santal 33, i enjoy the matching connotations as i am a fan of both scents. berga sandal is one of my favorite from the tamburins line and it is sweet, airy, and rich. if it is a muted santal 33, then it is basically perfect to me.

longevity is very weak for my liking, and I had high hopes for this perfume. HOWEVER, it is THE perfume that makes me fall in love with bergamot to be honest.. there's a bitterness in the scent, it gives an aura of a sophisticated woman. i love it but wouldn't repurchase due to its price point and longevity

as this came from South Korea, where no one wearing a power-scents, and i think "this-one-is the-one-who-is-there - scents" others scent from the house just an airy scents.. and somehow you can found santal 33 dna, in berga sandal, just more airy.. not overpower sandalwood. just perfect sit of sandalwood for daily.

This is a muted version of Santal 33. Less of a dill pickle note, which I appreciate. Skin scent.

First blast of clean fresh citrus, bergamot and grapefruit. Bright and energizing then a warmer wood note appears. Starts off as yet another citrus, albeit a sophisticated one, and then strangely completely transforms into... black pepper and cumin? Weird. The citrus is still there if I sniff hard enough.. Looking through the notes, that peppery smell is probably the cypriol. No sandalwood at all. I liked the opening much more than this drydown but at least it stays close to the skin. Unisex and best for warm weather.

This is SO my classic, signature scent. So much so, I almost didn’t purchase on my recent Seoul trip because I wasn’t sure if it was unique enough. That said, I did purchase the balm formula (stunning packaging) because it’s so nice on my skin.
