Holy Metal

I can’t quite find anything to compare this to. There’s no point in trying to match it to other perfumes. It’s incredibly light, subtle, and elegant — less like a perfume and more like a fragrant complement to clean clothes, if that makes sense. These kinds of scents work differently, they don’t smell “perfumey” in a direct way but create this soft, blurred impression of freshness and care. It’s a whole other mindset, often seen in Japanese and Korean perfumery. The composition itself feels entirely new, yet there’s something vaguely classic about it — something you can’t quite pin down. Really impressive.

Tamburins fragrances tend to share a similar DNA, and Holy Metal is no exception. It delivers a clean, fresh scent reminiscent of a man stepping out of the shower after using shaving cream—in the best way possible. The metallic notes add a unique and modern twist to the fragrance, setting it apart. Overall, it’s clean, musky, sweet, and lightly metallic, which enhances its distinctive character. Personally, I love this perfume. While it leans slightly more masculine, it would also smell fantastic on a woman. A versatile and intriguing scent!

Definitely sagey, greeney, almost spicy. Also a great blend of green and metallic. I can smell a bit of like wood but it's not really strong, nor is the musk. Has a huge sillage problem, as expected of a korean perfume. Projection isn't long, I wish it was though. It's such a great smell but I won't repurchase because of this problem. Maybe they should just make it even more concentrated.

Good year around scent, smells a bit like a QV naked deodorant I had a couple years ago but much much better. All year around fragrance and is very versatile. Dry down which is powdery and a little bit sweet is better than the fresh which transitions into metallic opening imo

Incense based scent reminds me of CDG's Incense Series many years ago. Which had since been discontinued. Glad tat it's kinda revived thru this Korean perfume. The one most reminded me of is the Kyoto one if memory serves me right.

I quite enjoy the Tamburins DNA, glamorous, polished and well blended, but this is probably my least favourite of their fragrances that I have tested this far. It's not a bad scent, but definitely a leaning a bit too sharp and medicinal in the herbal notes. But I was kind of expecting that, given the whole 'metal' thing. Underneath some of those herbs though, is a nice lightly musky, softer base which I'm enjoying. VERDICT: This one isn't for me, but I'm very intrigued by Tamburins, and am keen to sample more.

Smells like straight-up tea tree extract.

a deodorant scent. the metallic note is extremely sexy. s*x with a priest after mass with his sweaty skin and clothes still smoky after all the frankincense.
