Vetiver & Petitgrain Splash

Pure delight in hot weather. A soothing, fresh scent that lasts a remarkable length of time; 8 hours on my skin. Just a touch of sweetness to offset the citrus and vetiver. I've also used it as a sheet spray and an air spray. I hope we'll see more of these splashes in the future from Tauerville.

Opens with a blast of bitter/medicinal petitgrain, that will stay present during the whole journey. The neroli rounds a bit the edges, bringing it a bit more towards the unisex line, but still, it overall remains masculine to my nose. Some aromatics (tarragon?) brings some further greenness. The dry/salty vetiver will fully bloom in the base. Some noticeable similarities with Hermes's Eau de Cologne (aka Eau d'Orange Verte), because of the strong petitgrain note in all of these. Beautiful, and while probably a bit too simple to apply for the masterpiece title, it remains nonetheless an incredible value for the price. To note: this fragrance is water-based, and fully made with naturals, with a beautiful opaque yellow juice. Thus, as expected for this type of fragrances, performance is on the softer side, but so is the price (or 'was' should I say, since it has been discontinued). An excellent soothing fragrance for warmer days, assuming one loves bitter scents. I personally love it.

Very fresh and bitter vetiver and pettigrain. Because of the Pettit, this does not go into the sweet vetiver arena like some so that it smells like lime blossom. Not for the faint. This is soft and close but still a unique scent that most would not be comfortable wearing. I love it on my pillows. As a room freshener, it doesn't work so well. It is not strong enough to smell it after it's sprayed.

I just use it on my sheets and a spritz in the air. It definitely smells like a mix of petit grain and vetiver just as indicated. It's quite tangy, no sweetness to it.
