Before I forget there is a slight feel from the men’s BLV in the blue bottle from like a slight powder, perfumey wood and slight sweet, like orange peel?? This is spicey cool, woods, feels a bit herby but not green, this line is light as tonic implies. Fresh woods, ... I probably agree with the accords. It’s not heavy like some men’s scents. Unisex I feel, I could get these for my boys and men and use for myself too. I like all three kinds from this line No, hang on, Eros flame has the same ... like a woody sherbet (not sweet) but the powder zing fresh feel, there’s like a line if that through this as in Eros flame.

Very masculine. Think barbershop-ish/ gramp’s closet.

To me this comes a cross with the scent of a pine tree but muted. There is a lot of green and some wood. It is okay but nothing special but definitely masculine. Inoffensive and easy to wear. But there is a lot I would choose to wear over this.

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely love Cu from this range- it is my favourite scent of all time. However, this fragrance feels like I’m being smacked in the face with pepper and eucalyptus with a pretty boring drydown. To me upon spraying it smells like an overwhelming essential oil store, although I can understand how somebody would enjoy it. It’s just not for me. I don’t usually actively dislike fragrances, but this one makes me recoil at the initial spray and leaves me quite bored as it stays on my skin. The drydown is a little sweet, and pretty woody with some patchouli in there, but it’s really nothing new or interesting. I’m not sure if it’s just my chemistry, because my boyfriend loves it, although scent is certainly subjective so take this with a grain of salt.

I'll declare upfront that I am a long-time and big fan of original 1998 Skinwear. So, a chance to sample Ag was something I couldn't pass up. I only needed to try it the once. Some pepper and bergamot in the opening; but beyond that quite a potent triplet of camphor, musk and eucalyptus that pretty much washes out everything else. Ag Ted Baker is a budget scent with an Achilles heel: it strays too close to an off the shelf body deodorant – and anything 'Ted Baker' really ought to be better than that. Doesn't work on my skin. In its favour, it has staying power in the warmest of weather.

This is a bargain buy, and I'd say the best of the Ted Baker range. The scent maintains itself throughout without really changing at all, and it does seem to last quite long on my skin, which is quite a surprise given that most expensive fragrances and EDPs don't last well on me. Even past the 7hr mark I could smell this, though the projection is quite poor. This is a scent the wearer may enjoy more than anyone else. The scent itself reminds me of a combination of aniseed, licorice, pepper and - true to it's name it does smell metallic silver.

For me the best of the 3. Long lasting and gives a little of a Body Kouros vibe. 1 Ag (Silver) 2 Cu (Copper) 3 Au (Gold)
