X2O Extraordinary for Women

I prefer original Xo, this one was quite bland on me like most Ted Baker frags

Very Floral Scent With A Hint Of Citrus & Slight Sweetness. It was given to me as a gift. On first spray it’s ok but it’s not for me!!

I got a sample of this fragrance and wow - I never really smelled a perfume that I didn't vibe with this much. There's something about this perfume that just isn't me. I think there is an oriental and woody scent to it that just doesn't sit nice on my skin. Yet, when I gave it to my fiance to smell he really liked it! Go figure - I gave it to him hoping he only wears it while he's at work. I can't pin down what I don't like about this fragrance precisely but it is the general smell of it - smells like a grocery store aisle or a really really mature musky person. The plum doesn't come off as fresh but rather pruney and woody. I'm sorry to dislike this fragrance so much.

This smells very citrus-like on me - that is the main thing I smell. I smell the water lily a little later, but it's impossible for me to pick apart this scent because I'm either anosmic to the other notes, or this disappears from my skin VERY fast - we're talking less than one hour, but more like half an hour. I think the scent is boring and I woudnt't want to pay anything for a scent with such bad lasting power. This just both smells and seems very cheaply made to me. BTW: yes, I own this scent - I have a sample bottle.

not one for me. smells very floral on me. not much of the suggested grapefruit. doesnt last long, and have to actually sniff the skin to smell it. not a winner.

This one is light and easy to wear - as I find with most Ted Baker perfumes! At first it’s grapefruit and flowers. The plum doesn’t come out on my skin for the first 20 mins, then I get a subtle and slightly sweet, juicy plum. Not too syrupy thanks to the grapefruit. You do get woods but they blend well with the musk and don’t turn too masculine, but this is very woody in the very deep drydown. I can definitely smell a bit of star anise and it gives it a warm but very subtle spicyness. Sweet in a gentle way. Something about this reminds me of a Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea Range. It gives me the same light and fresh, clean but woody vibe of the original. The Ted baker perfumes generally smell quite good on me so I guess I just have the right skin chemistry, because they get a lot of shade on Fragrantica(!) but I think they’re really good little cheapies, for those of us who like more subtle perfumes. Having said that, this one might have too much wood in the very deep dry down for me personally.... I really only like creamy sandalwood and any other wood notes bother me! I feel like if you layered X2O with it's spicy and woody plum, with original XO's watery Bubblegum tuberose and heliotrope, you'd get something approaching a sheer Dior Poison. It's almost like the two scents are deconstructed elements of that classic plum and tuberose scent!

This is a younger "wannabe" John Varvatos. Once you get past the alcoholic blast on application you are greeted by a zesty burst which quickly develops into a sweet, watery plum spiced with star anise very reminiscent of JV. The development of this fragrance is fast paced & a little muddled - the musky woodsy base is present from the moment the citrus fronter starts to fade. This does not bother me much - the mid-level warmth that remains close to the skin is pleasant enough & the scent only lifts slightly with time to allow the magnolia to take hold. The very last gasp is of a soft magnolia/plum musk. Where JV hits the "class" mark & X2O fails is in the grounding base notes. X20 is sweet musk, JV has oakmoss & patchouli which gives it an older, more refined & knowing air (& can save you from sugar overload). If you need a plum-hit on a budget & like warm, mid-level fruity fragrances but don't mind that this perfume shows all its cards within the first 10 minutes.... this perfume may well be worth a try.

My go to fragrance, my addiction, and it's like an organ in my body! If I would have created a fragrance myself with my favorite notes, ingredients and measurements then this would be the one. It's very light, clean and fresh, Ted Baker has definitely give me the scent of my life!

I like this perfume. Who likes Eсlat Lanvin to enjoy this perfume.
