XO Extraordinary for Men

A surprisingly good offering from what I consider to be a mainstream house. Warm, spicy, long lasting and described by my significant other as "sexy as hell". I'm wondering if it's been discontinued though as it is becoming increasingly difficult to source?

When I first smelled this in the bottle, I thought it was one of the worst smells, I'd ever smelled. For the heckuvit, I put some on right before bed. I woke up and wondered what in the heck smelled so good. It was me. The "dry down" is incredible... I absolutely LOVE the smell...one of my all time favs. Still, initially, I find it overpowering and unwelcome to my nose. I suggest you apply it a few hours before you have to be around others. The sillage and longevity is excellent part of that is good and part of that is bad. A weird one.

I had a couple of bottles of this and let them go which i kind of regret. It was really nice, but terrible longevity. Perhaps I should have gone heavier on it, it was certainly very versatile - day or night, and you really could wear it in all four seasons. I guess if you carried an atomiser and just topped up now and then it would make a great, inoffensive scent for all emergencies. Got quite a few compliments when they got close enough.

XO is nice. It opens with peppery, pimento and cardamon notes. Shortly after the fruit comes through. The dry down is fruity and a little woody. Longevity and silage are only moderate on me at best - shame. XO had a nice fresh overall impression which is pleasant - not extraordinary though. It wasn't expensive and I'm glad I bought it. XO is a lovely smell and it is extraordinarily weak.

Probably the least longevity of any fragrances I've ever owned. Apart from that I do like the aftertones of the pink pepper with this scent but overall nothing spectacular but if your looking for a budget friendly option I feel like it is a very safe blind buy.
