Creation The Vert

If you're expecting a scent like the original Creation (which is a beautiful, but heady, fall/winter fragrance), you'll be disappointed. This is a different scent altogether. The Vert is definitely a summer spring fragrances. It smells clean and refreshing. I just loved it when I first tried it in TJ Maxx (though I've never seen it there again). I was so curious about it, because I was very surprised to see one of my favorite fragrances now in the same, but green bottle. I honestly don't understand, by the way, the complaints about the bottle. I find that kind of weird. I like the bottle, because I like the two fragrances so much. At any rate, if you just want to smell clean, this is a good affordable fragrance. (And I'm fussy - I hate about four out of every five that I try). Oh, and if you like this, you'll also like Ethere by Vicky Thiel. I think they are similar. Unlike other reviewers, I don't think this smells like Arden's green tea at all. That fragrance, I can kind of take or leave. I want to smell clean, but not necessarily like tea.

Another Ted Lapidus banger! Hands down my favorite freshie, this green meanie is clean girl goes wild. The inclusion of star anise, oak moss and orris lends this fragrance a mild spiciness that when contrasted with the minty citric tea notes feels sparkly, yet dense and refreshing. On my skin, the Vert is long lasting, 12 hours after my bath last night and it’s still there, a light skin scent this morning. Inoffensive to the extreme, I can wear this when I don’t feel well, and find it a comfort rather than an annoyance. Well done, and for the price I paid ($14usd) an absolute bargain. When I make it through my funky green bottle, I’ll definitely repurchase. Recommend!!

It's clear and refreshing. The apple note sweetens the tea note just enough that I am able to wear it. The floral notes are quiet. In the colder weather, I get more floral notes, but in the warmer weather, I get a lot more tea in the top notes, and the gentle apple note really seems to linger on through the heart, so I feel I must classify it as a "Summer Love". It's not groundbreaking, I agree, but I feel it's under-recognized for the lovely little scent it is. It's a sweet green tea floral that certainly doesn't smell as affordable as its pricetag might indicate. A safe blind buy for anyone who's considering it.

Opens with fresh and well rooted note of Green Tea and Bright crisp notes of citruses dries simply with sweet smelling note of peonies this is an simple elegant scent it doesn't take a lot to wow me i usually go for complex fragrances that consists 12 or 13 flower and spices but this is beautiful and refreshing beyond words and it's sweeter then Elizabeth Arden's green tea and not cloying like Sakura & Green tea by TerraNova This is the perfect green tea perfume ever!.

finally a tea scent and a freshie that I love; lots of citrus but the apple sweetens it so it smells more like mandarin in the top then tea and musk; the mint just gives it s zing and freshness without being minty and there are some light supporting florals but still this is a citrus tea scent through and through with white musk underlying and a touch of sweetness. To me, this is nothing like EA Green Tea, which I hate.
