Lapidus Woman

Interesting, but I thought it was the only cyclamen perfume in my collection because it was absolutely unlike anything I had smelled before. Surprisingly, I happanened to have about 3-4 perfumes with this note. I guess Woman was just created with the emphasis on cyclamen. The musk-vanilla-amber base makes it more oriental than floral, but it is still light enough to be used in warmer weather. I love the originality of this perfume! I won't be able to test it's longevity to the max this time, but I have been wearing it for over 2 hours and it is just as strong as when first applied. The sillage is above aferage on me too, I have been able to smell and enjoy it continuously and not in occasional whiffs. Great value for the price!

I bought a small bottle of this in France in 2001, after receiving a sample. Used it all, then went on with my life. Came to remember this years later, and was happy to see it was still available. Bought a big bottle, and I have never been bored with it. It is just so feminine, unique and complex. LOVE IT and hope it will always be available. Thank you Ted Lapidus!

Oh, I love Lapidus and the price point! I would say there is iris in here as well as fruit in the top: very powdery with some peach in the top, aldehydes, orchid and freesia, dirty neroli and musk. The amber in the final drydown is amazing. So pretty and warm.

Cyclamen and freesia, two of my most favourite notes! And the jasmine is prominent here also. This is absolutely gorgeous! Another beautiful Ted Lapidus creation. This is a lovely fragrance for this time of year. I will always have TL Woman in my collection.

Really nice perfume, WHITE CLEAN JAZMIN, is something special it, also have a long lasting, and made me feel that only i have it.... this is one of a kind. really lovely

Quite great this one! It is almost similar to Versace women. This is a musk perfume for sure! Good sillage and staying power, not in your face though!

I bought a BIG bottle in UK in my last year holiday and I still love every drop of it. Very feminine and provocative in a sweet way...

Back in the eighties my extended family rented a large beach villa on the Mediterranean for our summer vacation (😍 good old childhood memories 💕💕💕) the garden was full of pink cyclamens (I didn’t know the name then but I instantly recognized them from the photo). The scent of Lapidus Woman takes me to the fresh and delicate smell of those cyclamens mixed with the slightly salty sea breeze (I guess it has ambergris more so than amber in the base or my memory is overpowering the smell 😂). In my collection LW has the most prominent cyclamen note, almost a soliflore with the other notes enhancing its fresh, delicate, sweet and floral aspects. LW is an everyday tender floral that is wearable even in hot summer days but still has its uniqueness. However, the performance is poor which is expected for a delicate floral and is acceptable at this price point. Very lovely.

What a beautiful perfume! I bought it online without testing and when I sprayed it for the first time I thought it was pure alcohol and I was so disapponted. but during the next day I noticed a nice smell coming from somewhere and it was the smell of WOMAN! So do not judge it very soon, it smells amazing, a longlasting complex floral which is unique in its own way and it has a high quality considering the price. You know I am a perfume addict and I get bored very fast but WOMAN is not boring at all. Some reviewers say it has similarities with versace woman but I have not tested that one so I have no idea. But if you are in to florals and you do not care about mainstream perfumes this is for you. By the way my sister dropped it yesterday and it broke to peices my beloved spring perfume. sigh.

I got a sample of this today and it's a pleasant surprise.. Very heavy on cyclamen and freesia, it burst with those 2 notes and then in comes a bit of underlying musk and something barely citrus.. In some ways sweet and other ways heady.. Like a bunch of cyclamen! I don't know if I would use it, but I definitely like it as it's not a usual composition, especially these days when everything smells so overly sweet.. This is a floral number, but not your usual floral. Lasting power could better, on me it's 3-4 hours. I'm not a fan of the bottle, but I put scent first. So all in all thumbs up.

I totally agree with Kittycat63, it's lovely but not exceptional. It's something you've 'heard' before. Ordinary and guite forgettable. Good choice for very young girls, though.

I think it is quite lovely, can't wait to try it out on my husband.

Transparent feminine floral. Starts off slightly synthetic and spicier than I would've imagined based on the notes above. Begins to improve as it dries down but then I pick up a lot of ambergris (not the resin listed here, and it's listed as ambergris elsewhere) - that and cyclamen are dominant. I think this would be alright for a late spring or summer evening, particularly if one is near a body of water, but the fishy ambergris is just too heavy for me here.

very flowery, the Cyclamen is way too strong for my nose, it overhelms the other notes a good while... i do usually like orangeblossom and jasmine but the combination with the top of bergamotte and freesia, then the heady magnolia, i can t love them here. i expected at least a little bit of sweetness on the drydown but as far i can anly smell the patchouli which underlines the rawness of the Cyclamen. it smells very natural, like standing near by a bunch of those flowers. very heady. unfortunately it lacks some tenderness and sweetness to be loveable for me... no detectable vanilla as far..... it's well done for shure and very elegant, i don t think it's common at all. i never smellt a perfume like this one before. it has a very 'dry' sensation and i can imagine a lady with stiff white blouse and a darkblue pencilskirt, pearl necklace and heels wearing this for office wear. an ultra clean scent. this is a straight flowery-powdery perfume - only for flowerlovers!

Lapidus Woman is OK but really nothing special. My first impression was that it smelled like Pepto Bismol, which is NOT a good smell! Luckily, that faded but still, it's quite a chalky, powdery smelling perfume which I'm not crazy about. In fact, it's so powdery smelling I can't even detect any individual notes in it at all. It also reminds me of a couple of other perfumes - Esprit Collection, and Nocturnes by Caron - so it's certainly not a very distinctive perfume. I've smelled worse, but I've also smelled much better!!

I don't know why, but on my skin it opens and stays quite long, like aged sunscreen. I have difficulty even finding specific other notes because whatever this one is, or maybe it's the blend, it is overpowering over the rest. It does dry down eventually into a more soft powdery flowery scent, but not quite what I expected based on the notes and reviews. I am usually very into scents with jasmine in it, but I can't find it in here. After a few hours it's mostly vanilla and amber, nothing special or interesting.

What a lovely, light oriental. Probably a little too light for my taste, as I like the heavy, sultry scents. First application is a definite freesia burst, not too in your face, but just right. Lovely soft, sweet, musky nuances enfold, touches of patchouli and pastel blossoms. I have to sniff my wrists to make sure the scent is still there, it is and it just gets even lovelier. I was humming and harring about buying this perfume, but I totally 100% glad I have. I will stock up, as is a favourite of mine now. I also love Ted Lapidus White Soul.

Wow, what a discovery! An extremely cool floriental, whose star is cyclamen flower. An amber, warm, elegant, stylish fragrance. A drop of patchouli for sensuality, a drop of bergamot for the well - being and confidence it offers you. Orange blossom and jasmine only do vocal backing in this fragrance. Although it is a eau de toilette, it has more than average longevity and sillage. The quality ingredients and the well-structured composition give it value, at an affordable price. 8/10

An interesting sexy memorable scent at the acceptable price. On my skin it opens as lily of the valley mixed with chemical cherry. The scent is for assertive, expressive women, not recommended for teens. It's not heavy, it's loud, when you enter the room, the scent appears before you and tells everyone that you've come. It can be called a loudspeaking visiting card. I recommend to test before buying.

I bought a small bottle. Nothing special, but a fragrance to everyday wear, more floral than oriental, very feminine. The staying power is OK for me.

Not pleasent for me.I gave it to my mother,but she didn't like too.I think it's still somewhere at home.
