This is an adventure of a scent, it starts with bright spearmint gum and quickly settles into an old car with leather seats that’s been smoked in. The longer I wear it the more the spearmint comes back and stays a more towards the back. I think the description they’ve written for Hidden Habits is spot on. It reminds me of this old clapped out GTI I had that no matter how much I cleaned I could never get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke. I had a vanilla little tree air freshener, a pack of spearmint gum in my cupholder and a floral dehumidifier under the passenger seat and this scent calls back to the frozen drives home at 1am from my second job that I switched to swing shift for. If this was a nostalgia worth reliving I’d buy a bottle in an instant. Unfortunately that was probably one of the most miserable sections of my life but if anyone out there remembers leather seats and stale cigarette smoke in their first car and wants that back I’d say look no further.
