Café Cabanel

Coffee is my jam. I drink coffee all day, have worked as a barista throughout my college years, my father drank the darkest roast coffee he could find when I was a kid, and he'd pop handfuls of the beans into his mouth and eat them like candy. I know, clearly that last bit is overboard coffee love borderline addiction but suffice to say it's a family tradition to love the smell, taste, and yes even the bitter and oily flavors of the richest, darkest roast of beans. It has been nigh impossible to find my holy grail of coffee fragrance. To be fair, I've not yet tried 'Follow' by Kerosene which I've read has a strong and realistic coffee note but I've tried quite a lot of perfumes with a coffee 'note' including Intense Cafe and Intense Ristretto Cafe by Montale both of which are highly rated in the community/Fragrantica. But, hold everything, Cafe Cabanel is my holy grail coffee perfume. There is a perfume-like quality, it isn't all about photo-realistic notes and smelling like actual food. There is a very, very creamy caramel latte with a freshly pulled shot of espresso and rose petals that floats around you in a haze while wearing this perfume. It's there in the opening, and the espresso/caramel/milky notes retain throughout the dry down. Not to say the perfume doesn't change or progress, it would really bore me if that were the case. This perfume does darken and get very ambery in the dry down and more rose pops through so the coffee note and cream/caramel are there but it's a perfume that is luscious, delicious, and elegant. I wore side by side with Killian Black Phantom which is more rum, and white sugar. This is *much* better, the coffee note is more alive, more present, and the rose is creamy, milky and the amber is gooey but not in a rum/crunch sugar way like Black Phantom. A winner. I'll be buying a full bottle today. Thank you, Teo Cabanel for this gorgeous scent!

What a delicious stunning perfume! It opens smelling like a hot cinnamon roll and quickly morphed into an orange cream cheese Danish. I'm surprised there's not more people talking about the orange cake . Next it smells like sugar cookies! After that it smells like buttery lemon cake. In the last stages it smells like roasted tonka beans and vanilla and the very end after hours and hours of going through stages it ends with a buttered creamy vanilla cake. I'm mesmerized by this perfume and I cannot believe how many times this perfume morphed into something else! My husband even notice how the scent keeps changing! Most perfumes only go through two phases on me and are very linear.. even my expensive niche perfumes have an opening and after a couple minutes of sitting on my skin I get the base and it stays like that to the rest of the wear. Not with this! If you love Gourmand you will love this. It does smell Edible in some phases and other times it smells like a sexy classy vanilla oh, still sweet but like smoky roasted tonka bean. This perfume is so smooth and silky from beginning to end . I think because it goes through so many changes on my skin I'm able to smell this without going nose blind. I'm able to smell this perfume for about 8 hours. I can continue to smell it on my clothes all day. The sillage is great. It lingers in the air every time I move . It works excellent on my skin and with my chemistry. It does smell like a cafe in Paris and like buttery pastry. I adore this!!

My favorite fragrance that I’ve tried from the entire house! This is truly delectable. A spiced caramel latte that is soooo smooth and milky. During my freshman year of undergrad I worked as a barista at Starbucks. I’ll use some of my experience of working there to help describe Cafè Cabanel... When it comes to an actual beverage, a high quality latte should be so well blended that you cannot pick up on a separation between the sugar, milk, caramel, and coffee. A striated latte will lead to angry customers which in turn will lead to an angry manager which will all lead to a very gloomy day for a barista. Lattes are not a macchiato in which the pride of the frothy milk is the mark of espresso poured on top and left unmixed. This house understands how to craft a proper latte. The espresso is stirred into whole milk, and there is density that perhaps comes from the note of butter and creates the effect of a steamed and saturated drink. The caramel is folded into the drink carefully so as to preserve the creaminess. Rose petals and cinnamon are the final addition, they ensure that the drink does not rely on only a caramel note to provide sweetness. This distribution of sweetness gives Cafè Cabanel a sophisticated structure that I love! A truly drinkable ensemble (though I do not recommend actual consumption, this is perfume and is therefore inedible)

This perfume has a medium-high intensity A duration around 10 hours I tried it in a few samples of Teo Cabanel, I liked it and my daughters loved it. And that made me decide to buy it. Also say that I love the image of the brand, its metalizing flasks, and in this perfume I love the print. This perfume has a warm aroma, now autumn is when I enjoy it the most. The aroma of this perfume is coffee with warm milk, on your way out we feel a coffee with milk with a touch of cinnamon and caramel, little by little the vanilla is present. But its aroma of coffee with caramel milk is so clear that even my teenage daughter was able to distinguish its aroma. In the middle of summer with very hot weather it can overwhelm if intensity, it is best to wait for autumn to arrive and that is the best time to enjoy it, because it is warm and very pleasant. In me it has very good fixation and has come to feel it in me about ten hours, if you put it in a coat or a scarf much more. Conclusion, a warm, delicious perfume that makes you enjoy the aroma of delicious coffee

Cafe Cabanel smells like you're in a fancy yet quaint neighbourhood cafe in Paris, eating a freshly baked warm all butter croissant with caramel drizzle, dipped into a strong white coffee. The bitterness of the coffee are beautifully balanced with the sweetness. The opening is quite overpowering, heavy on the coffee, rich dry roasted coffee beans. It dries down to a powdery sandalwood with hints of sweetness from caramel. I get the buttery note too. This is a sumptuous and cosy cold weather scent. It is late November and I live in London, for me it has felt like the first day of the year I could wear this. It has an understated allure, sexy in a snug way. People will tell you you smell delicious (as in baked goods), performance is pretty beast mode. Cafe Cabanel is to a luxury coffee shop what Jazz Club from Margiela's Replica line is to a dimy lit bar. This is like Jazz Club's daytime sister, the caffeinated version of it's boozy rum fuelled counterpart, but with the same Autumnal warmth, sweetness and spice.

Got a sample of this one and sprayed once. It is definitely masculine for my taste, so I gave it to my husband. On him, this smells so gourmand but in the most masculine way possible. I love it! My nose picks up some chocolate mocha creamy vanilla spiced drink but the wood note is a bit harsh in the background (I guess if there were not wood that could be a delicious latte caramel female perfume!) On the dry down on my husband’s skin the scent becomes more coffee leaning, with hints of whiffs of tonka, caramelized butter and chocolate meeting the wood and musk. Wow, it is so delicious and sexy. I love this one during cold months. It is where the woody and coffee note brighten the best. It’s a cozy sensual scent. I don’t think it is office appropriate but more for a Netflix and chill, fancy date or dining out scent for sure! Perfect during fall and winter, day or night. On my husband’s skin lasts a good 8h and the projection is arms length after spraying then becomes a skin scent after 4h.

I blind bought this perfume after reading an article about it on Fragrantica. It arrived this morning so I eagerly sprayed it on. I love it!! Although the reason I bought it was for the coffee note and it never appeared on my skin I still consider this perfume amazing. It is a powdery feminine scent, not sweet even though it has vanilla in it. The rose is soft and not old lady type. A hint of cinnamon and mandarin I smell but it is not too spicy or citrusy. It is well blended and smells wonderful! Projection is at least 6 feet with a strong scent trail in 88 degrees it is still strong after 7 hours and has only slightly faded with a hint of white musk. If you love powdery scents like Van Cleef & Arpels Vanille Orchid then you should like this one. If you dislike powdery scents do not blind buy this order a sample off company website or skip it. This is worthy of being a signature scent and I may change to it after testing it out more.

Lovely ! On me, this is a full blown incense-y coffee fragrance with a big cinnamon note (and a lot of smoke and depth) that is also slightly floral. I wouldn’t call it a gourmand per say as I can’t smell the milk or the caramel, but the drydown does have a buttery quality to it. The coffee here is not like a creamy espresso or caramel macchiato; it’s sorta bitter, roasted coffee beans that have been sprinkled with sugar. The musks stop this beauty from getting cloying. It’s strong and makes its presence known, as well as lasting until the next day on your skin and fabrics ! This perfume is very dark and surprisingly animalic (not in an indolic or hairy stinky furball way, don’t worry) and it reminds me of silent movies, heavy eyes adorned with black eyeshadow, opium, clove cigarettes, expensive jewelry, pale skin dressed all in black, a gloomy autumn evening... If this is the vibe you’re going for, this is the right match for you !

A dark gourmand that makes me think of a small, but indulgent breakfast. This has bitter coffee and various sweet notes, but it doesn't smell like a caramel latte. More like a cup of black coffee with a buttery almond (heliotrope) crossaint on the side. Fresh lemon juice, milky, sticky caramel spread and a small bowl of licorice for later are also on this breakfast table. Despite this picture Café Cabanel smells like a beautiful blended perfume and not like an imitation of food scents. There are balsamic, woody and even some floral accents in this. In the drydown the cinnamon note really shines and it gets more spicy. Spices, bittersweet notes and caramel could all make the scent a little rough and scratchy, but they don't. It's very warm and extremely smooth. If you love the darker side of gourmand perfumes this is a must-try. Performance is good, not overly loud but noticeable and long-lasting.

The best way I can describe this perfume is Lira/Tendre Madeleine with coffee on top. So it perfectly encapsulates the experience of eating a madeleine with your morning café au lait. Despite being very sweet, it's not tacky or childish and you won't feel like you're wearing a Victoria's Secret body spray. The coffee disappears fairly quickly on me (about a couple of hours) and but even when it's there, it's definitely not a strong espresso note, but rather milky and sweet. It also doesn't project a lot. After a couple of hours I need to put my arm up to my nose to be able to smell it, although I'm not an oversprayer, so make of that what you will. I still think that if you're someone who enjoys sweet scents all year round, this is one you can safely wear in the summer or at the office, if you apply just a little. TLDR version: if you like Lira, you'll like this.

I absolutely loved Bond No 9 New Haarlem. That was an ambery oriental with a prominent coffee note. Loved it. Emptied two bottles back in the mid 00’s/10’s and then it was discontinued and vanished. Teo Cabanel Cafe Cabanel reminds me a whole lot of New Haarlem. Cafe Cabanel is so completely my jam. I don’t really like gourmands, instead I prefer orientals which do a flirty skirt along the edges of gourmand territory. Cafe Cabanel is exactly that. It’s a warm woody ambery oriental with a slight coffee vibe (but very subtle, only if you’re looking for it). If you want a prominent coffee note, this isn’t it. I really like this. It kind of smells like a million things I’ve already had, but that’s probably because I’ve been on an ambery oriental binge for 2 decades. It’s only subtly sweet. Definitely unisex. I see a FB in my future.

Love love love Cafe Cabanel. Just was reunited w my bottle & cold weather and ugh. Just love it. So cuddly and cosy. So glad i came across Jus De Rose’s recommendation. A buttery caramel coffee w a touch of cinamon. Similar to but less milky and a bit more spicy & light than Black Phantom in my opinion — i mean... the notes are pretty similar. Cafe Cabanel is like the flirtier, sweet and casual younger sister to it. Value is very good for amount & quality you get. And that packaging 😍. This bottle is just beautiful. Im a new fan of the brand. Currently trying their latest releases. And if ever youre on the fence they offer welcome discount when you sign up (what i used) or if you buy a discover/sample kit !

I love coffee, but so far I have not found a perfume that gives back the aroma I love - milky, sweet and fragrant. I found it in the past (but it gives me a headache) in Cafe Tuberosa and also covered in sweet, fruity or floral notes in other perfumes, for example in Black Opium. But not in the way I drink ☕ and enjoy it. I always drink coffee with milk (a lot) and brown sugar, and this perfume is the perfect company for a cup of my favorite hot drink. Thank you very much, Antonia, for the chance to test this perfume that is not at all available in my country. 3 / 3 already on my wishlist ... I see a pattern here

Beautiful. Signature scent worthy. I'm in love. Last forever on clothing. Opening can be difficult but mid and dry down are heaven. It's cozy, somewhat give an intimate feeling and elegance at the same time. Most proeminent note are sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean and butter. But there's another special note that made this Fragrance a masterpiece : I detect no really coffee here, I would say something chocolatey. But definitly evoque happy breakfast, like you had a very long sleep late in the morning and someone bought viennoiseries before you wake up.

A true coffee-lover's best friend! This is a warm and very elegant fragrance, perfect for an autumnal walk in the park and yes, a visit to your favourite cafe. The opening reminds me of just that - walking into a cafe, waiting at the bar while your coffee is being prepared. You can almost hear the coffee machine working in the background, the barista spills a bit of cinnamon on the counter... Dreamy. The drydown is gorgeous, a mix of creamy notes and sandalwood with very noticeable vanilla undertone. Would love to own that full-size!

i mean this in a positive way, but this doesn't smell like coffee as in coffee beans, the inside of a starbucks, or even a latte at a paris cafe. this smells like gas station coffee. drip coffee mixed with as much vanilla syrup, milk and ice, poured from a dispenser. it somehow works, but is a totally different craving from coffee. i'm saying this as a compliment: i love this perfume. the vanilla, caramelization, lactonicness, and additional flavorings of orange and cinnamon are all in check. delicious but not sickening.

I actually get a huge coffee blast from this, and not a lot of tonka. It’s coffee and cinnamon and vanilla, and a creaminess from the butter and milk. For me, this is very balanced, but it could also be that I’ve had my decant for over a year now, so the juice has fully macerated. This is really a wonderful scent for Fall. I put in my notes from a previous wear that when I mix this with The Only One that it can really turn heads, so I may try that again! This is a definite Love!

There's no rum or alcoholic note listed but this perfume gives sweet spicy liquor flowing smoothly into light tonka base. It's comparable to Grand Soir though the similarities end at the liquored woodiness. Grand soir's sweetness is amber and honeyed whereas Cafe Cabanel goes heavier into caramel and chocolate territory. It's a pity the bottles in this line of Teo Cabanel perfumes are not pretty, but I will bookmark this for the colder months.

Sometimes a name really evokes what the fragrance delivers. Café Cabanel is one of those. Think of a cafe with an overworked espresso machine, maybe more flat white than short black, and buttery croissants. A beautiful gourmand fragrance that leans heavily feminine, but not just for women. A real artwork of a fragrance from Teo Cabanel. There is a boozy note hidden within, that comes to the fore in the dry down. Sweet, but not at all cloying.

Beautiful, complex warm, spicy vanilla-sandalwood that isn’t too heavy or too sweet. Perfectly blended and balanced. I get just a bit of bitterness from the coffee and a bit of smoke from the tobacco that counterbalance the sweet vanilla and creamy sandalwood. Just enough to make it interesting - but still very easy to like. It is unisex but leans a bit feminine. A couple of sprays lasts all day for me with medium silage.

Turkish coffee with cardamom and lots of sugar, buttery french toast with a crispy outer layer, a little burnt and caramelized, caramel syrup on top, pitcher of cold cream. The florals and patchouli (listed in the description but missing from the notes) elevate it and make it more interesting and addictive. It's definitely a gourmand but it's more than just that. This one is really growing on me.

I really love this fragrance in winter. It gives me a comforting sense of calm. Its warm spiced vanilla with some nuttiness, a bit of milk and a soft musky powder. It packs a punch at first a fools you into thinking its a cinnamon bomb. But soon after the nutty vanilla and milky sandalwood powder take over and linger. Its a neck nuzzler for sure and a compliment getter and very unisex.

Cafè Cabanel is a sophisticated and wonderfully inviting perfume... a cloud of glamor and well-being, a very well-made perfume, non-intrusive coffee beans timidly appear, I feel the note of milk and cinnamon very much. I love this perfume and i immediately fell in love with it, really sensational!!! Sillage: 7./10 Longevity: 7./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9./10

I adored this and I'm not usually a gourmand fan. The rich full bodied coffee contrasts with a touch of tarte citron and a touch of warming cinnamon. A few hours later, the earthy coffee note reveals roses and patchouli. A fabulous scent that feels like true luxury to wear.

I adore this for autumn! It is fall in a bottle for me 🍂🍁 spicy cinnamon, with a smokey vanilla latte vibe 🥰 I find it to be a little masculine leaning so sometimes I do soften it up with a little extra vanilla.

In the first few minutes it remind me of black licorice candies, then it's going more on the cinnamon caramel notes, I don't smell any coffee. But I enjoy it

What a masterpiece! Silky smooth, creamy sweet effervescence. Lactonic, sparkling and buttery coffee. Base is heavy, patchouli, creamy. A masterpiece.

Cinnamony orange cake with a side of Caffe Latte. I haven’t loved a fragrance in a long time as much as I love this one.

Finally a fragrance that promises coffee and actually DELIVERS coffee! The top notes are delicious, the first spray is a cinnamon latte in perfume form. I don’t get much of the mandarin, just spicy, gourmand goodness. If you don’t like cinnamon in fragrances, you probably won’t like Café Cabanel because it is centre stage. However the buttery note is really quite impressive, and softens the fragrances out so it doesn’t veer into spice market territory. I love how buttery and smooth this fragrance is, it’s something I’ve rarely experienced in perfumes and that I think sets Café Cabanel apart from other spicy gourmands. After a short time the vanilla and caramel comes out, and it’s just... mmm. I know it’s an overused term (certainly in my reviews at least) but this fragrance is just so comforting. Buttery, sweet, and spicy in the Christmas way. Whatever flowers are listed in the notes are not very apparent on my skin. I’d never describe this as floral, however I can see that other people do smell the heliotrope and rose. As always, it comes down to skin chemistry. On me, this is a true gourmand - and you do have to really like gourmands to appreciate Café Cabanel. It truly smells like a coffee shop full of freshly baked pastries. It might not be the most “classy” scent, but it sure is delicious. The kind of comfort scent I’d love to wear on a chilly autumn evening while curling up with a book and a cup of coffee, or while going for a walk on a cold Christmas morning. Sillage is good, and so is the longevity. People aren’t going to smell you from across the room, and I personally think this fragrances would risk becoming cloying if that was the case. As it is, I think it’s lovely. A gourmand lovers dream. Edit: I recently tried Feve Delicieuse by Dior, and I found it incredibly similar to Cafe Cabanel. Of course it ultimately comes down to skin chemistry and personal perception, but if you like Feve Delicieuse but not so much the price, I think Cafe Cabanel is definitely worth checking out.

I recently ordered (a very affordable) sample set from Teo Cabanel website. I'm impressed by the whole collection, and find the fragrances to be lovely, interesting and creative. Cafe Cabanel was an instant favourite, although possibly the least unique out of the bunch. I always fall for that autumn vibe, with spicy top notes (cinnamon in particular) sweet middle (vanilla and tonka) and woodsy/ambery base (sandalwood and/or patchouli although patchouli isn't listed here). The coffee note is lovely, but it could be cocoa/chocolate, if I didn't look at the notes. I don't smelly any floral notes. Cafe Cabanel reminds me a lot of Neonatura Cocoon by Yves Rocher. But Cocoon is drier with more patchouli, while Cafe Cabanel turns milkier and sweeter. Like I mentioned earlier, it's not a very unique composition and I own several similar fragrances, because I'm really into sweet/warm/woodsy/ambery fragrances made to be worn in autumn and winter. Cafe Cabanel is delicious, cozy and comforting. Not an obvious gourmand but very close.

It's been rainy, cold and grey for a week, and I needed a warm, cozy fragrance to generate a little spark of hope and safety amidst the disordered climate... I almost bought this in the shop upon testing it, but the didn't have the smaller bottle and I was unsure about immediately committing to the 100ml... It's been sort of almost perfect for the moment? It opens very cinnamon & coffee forward, with some vanilla sweetness that dissolves into a buttery vanilla caramel cake like scent. It's very inviting. A fragrance you want to burrow into, that maybe could make these around you start to salivate. My husband says it makes him want to eat me, and he compliments how good I smell more often while I'm wearing it. The butter note is uniquely strong, and it dries down to a rich, creamy vanilla butter with a hint of musky spiciness. Extremely gourmand and smooth. Luxurious and decadent, really. I'm definitely considering buying a full bottle for stay at home bad weather days.

Cécile Zarokian is a Master at blending warm, spicy and captivating notes! This is very nice and on my skin, it leans more masculine. It definitely is coffee at first spritz, unfortunately, it vanishes all too quickly...but cinnamon and milky notes appear (absolutely delicious!!). Vanilla and powdery notes come in after 20 minutes. It is very nice, I really like it. I am reminded of a toned down Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford. Unfortunately, just like Tobacco Vanille, Café Cabanel pulls masculine very quickly on my skin. In the very dry down, there’s this tobacco whisper that really reminds me of TF Tobacco Vanille (even more) though they are not dupes of each other at all. Longevity isn’t the best but I get a good 4 hours. Projection and sillage are mild. All in all, a wonderful experience and a scent I would love to smell on my husband! I absolutely love this fragrance and that bottle? Stunning!!

Café Cabanel is the scent I’d heard most excitement about from this house and I’ve been looking forward to trying it. This is about as gourmand as gourmand gets, almost every note is something edible - undoubtedly it smells delicious. Despite coffee being in the name, it’s more of a supporting note. The scent is lead by this overwhelmingly sweet, sticky, buttery caramel and rich vanilla, countered by a gorgeously inviting cinnamon. The coffee offers a subtle, dry bitterness which helps to offset the sweetness from becoming overwhelming. I’ll admit I enjoy it, I’m not the biggest lover of gourmands, of my 130 bottle collection I only own 5, but this is a good one. I’m undecided whether I’d buy it, because it is just so sweet, but I will definitely enjoy this sample to the fullest.

Reading about Cafe Cabanel was really what made me want to try Teo Cabanel in the first place and I'm so glad I did. I actually enjoy Oh La La and Je Ne Sais Quoi even more, but Cafe Cabanel is nice as well. On my skin, the coffee disappears quite quickly, and I end up with something creamy, well blended but a bit heavy on the cinnamon. I guess I was hoping for a bit more complexity and... Well, punch, I guess? I do wear it from time to time, but I'm mostly just happy that this got me to try other fragrances from the house :)

This is a really nice coffee and roses fragrance. I'm very afraid of the sweet and creamy suffocating effect that gourmands have on me but thankfully Cafe Cabanel avoids that. Also don't love coffee notes generally in perfumes. CC is to me coffee, vanilla, rose, maybe patchouli that remains fun but composed somehow. Hours on it dries down to vanilla musk and pretty much loses the top notes. For the first two hours I think this is a better coffee & roses than the Montale Intense Cafe.

This is a sweet latte in a bottle. Very well blended. Its not easy to pick out the notes. I get rose, coffee, musk and a bit of cinnamon. I basically get a sweet creamy latte. A unisex scent. I would call this a comforting gourmand scent. It doesn't change much along the timeline. It does smell delicious but I wouldn't go fb because the longevity is not good on me. The sillage is moderate at a stretch in this warm room.

On my skin this opens up with a blast of vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, heliotrope, Tonka, and patchouli. It dries down to a spicy, warm, chocolate-patchouli fragrance- the heliotrope stays very prominent on my skin the whole time. This has a decent lasting power, but on me it sits close to the skin. If you are a fan of Mugler's Angel or Initio's Psychedelic Love try this— I think that you would really like Café Cabanel.

Gorgeous perfume! 100% unisex, for cafe perfume lovers. Warm, spicy, I can smell coffee, spices and milk. You are immediately transported in a cozy coffee shop. You are with your friends and take a good moment all together. I do not imagine this scent for work, but perfect for the week-end. More for fall and winter. It is not too sweet or creamy. 9/10 My husband and I will wear it!

Can totally see why this is such a popular fragrance, it's just not for me! A very spicy, almost amber, coffee smell. Somehow Cecile has managed to keep a fresh heart to the smell, making it almost a refreshing amber to my nose. On my skin this dries down to a very spicy, floral musk and loses a lot of the coffee note (not unusual for me to lose a coffee note on my skin!).

I thought I was gonna hate this but I really enjoyed it. This isnt a true gourmand thank the lord because I absolutely cannot stand them. Honestly this isnt a true coffee scent either. This reminds me of a middle eastern coffee because it’s prominent in the spicy notes and not sweet. Very much a unisex scent

It smells like Cuir Beluga (Guerlain) with added spices and sweetness. Cant tell me otherwise Extremely Guerlain-like blend, very elegant - it doesnt really smell like a typical gourmand The butter notes just smooths out the spices and makes them smell less sharp Definitely a Cuir Beluga sister!!

Smells a bit of a fall spiced cider Yankee candle, but it's still really nice and wearable. In its opening I definitely get the coffee with cinnamon and orange, then the buttery spiced vanilla milk comes into full force. This would be a great wear for chilly Fall days.

Opens almost cloying, quickly becomes a pleasant edible fragrance, smells like desserts and pastries in a cafe, like many mentioned below. Fries down to non offensive powdery sugar smell. Unfortunately didn't last more than two hours on me.

The dry down is more interesting than the opening. I wish the coffee notes were more pronounced. I like it, it's a warm fragrance, the spices are well balanced. I keep on smelling my wrist and noticing subtle changes.

I sprayed on my clothes by accident, and I’m getting nothing but cinnamon - still going strong after 9 hours.

Cinnamon and sandalwood, no coffee but leaves a fantastic scent trail.

I always read reviews but never joined... but i had to join for this fragrance.. i just sprayed it and i will say i am so disappointed however I’m going maybe let it sit for a while and come back to it. Upon initial spray i got citrus, smoke and now all i smell is cinnamon and something synthetic.. almost waxy... or like play-doh.. or lipstick and powder.. idk.. I’m so disappointed especially because of the social media hype.. the notes make it sound amazing but i can say that it let me down lol.. this is how i felt about Van Cleef & Arpel “Orchidee vanille” which is another disappointment..my hope is that cafe cabanel eventually turns into a love.. i get no coffee.. no baked goods.. just cinnamon, wax, and smoke lol.. this isn’t blind buy safe. Update: i still have the same thoughts, this is a regret, i only get cinnamon, and maybe powder and some type of wax at the opening.. after that it’s just pure cinnamon.
