Jaspe

A really lovely modern fougere fragrance. Jaspe by Teo Cabanel is just a beautiful masculine fresh barbershop cologne. Fresh opening with bergamot and lavender, but quickly transitioning to the underlying green spicy mid before settling into the woody dry down. A really high quality, hot weather fragrance. Doesn’t project, but on a summer day, that’s what you are generally after. Longevity isn’t too bad for this type of fragrance, but don’t expect it to be prominent 10hrs after application.

I had a sample of this sitting around for maybe 4 years and I’m now just randomly using all of them. This one was a really nice surprise. Nice and fruity/herb opening that then gives real barbershop vibes. I love vetiver and could smell it in this. I got asked by 4 people what I was wearing yet, like me, none had heard of it. Sadly it’s not available, apart from in decants on eBay. If I could then I’d be adding this to my collection. It gives me creed GIT vibes but lasts, much longer

This is very lovely. First thing that came to mind when I sprayed this on at night after bathing is my boyfriend. This scent smells like him. I don’t know why but it reminds me of him. Might get a bottle for him. Perfect for the summer and for the workplace. Getting the lavender in the opening and the other notes are also coming to play. Can’t talk about the performance now but will give an in-depth review later. Chao 👋🏼

very watery fragrance that has an ambergris salt quality to it with mostly papyrus then lavender, fern and cardamon; in the top and in the base it has this very masculine vintage cologne/fougere feel to it

Very classical scent for a man with lavender, vetiver and leather in the background. Not so original, can be a signature scent, for all seasons. 7/10

Jaspe opens up pretty nicely, evoking the feeling of a handsome man you'd meet somewhere in Cannes. Then, a barely noticeable note reminiscent of tobacco spoils the vision for some time. The drydown is a classy vetiver and leather mix. I don't normally enjoy leather notes but here it's quite nice. I wouldn't say it's very long lasting but tends to wear better than other fragrances from Teo Cabanel.

I find this to be an extremely quintessential modern, masculine, barbershop cologne. The body of the scent is a softly-spicy, mildly-sweet plantishness, atop a base of smooth, suave woodsy notes. For personal wear, I would find Jaspe's suave, easy-going, woodsy cleanness a bit boring, but it's a calm, classy scent that would be pleasant and unobtrusive to smell on a friend or coworker.

این عطر جسپه تئو کابانال منو یاد اسپری های بدن ساخت ایران و ترکیه که ۱۰-۱۵سال پیش ساخته میشد میندازه . فضای که به ضرب هر ترکیباتی میخواستند حس مفرح و خنک ادکلنهای فرانسوی رو کپی کنند اما نمی‌تونستند این عطر رو هر جا دیدید به راحتی ازش بگذرید . هیچ نقطه عطفی نداره . عطری که مرزهای سنتتیک سنت رو پشت سر گذاشته و راحت حس کیمیکال داره . یک بلند بشدت ضعیف و غیر حرفه ای و نازیبا . شروعی تند و تلخ گزنده از لاوندر و آکورد سبز با منتول . در کنار دوز زیادی از حس سرد و فلزی ژرانیوم . هیچ فراز و فرودی در کار نیست جز بی رنگ شدن فضای هربال بعد از یکساعت و پررنگ شدن امبراکسان که فضالی زننده رو دامن میزنه. بن مایه کلاسیک با روی کردی مدرن .نتیجه: ی کار افتضاح .

Aromatic spicy, masculine scent that goes on sharp but mellows into a vetiver and leather heart. The initial spray is more artificial than natural, and that’s always a negative for me.

Smell like some kitchen herbs extract. Would be much better better on men.

Awful. I'm smelling lavender-scented antibacterial cream and bandages.

yuck. for me and on my skin. something really noxious going on here. 3rd wearing and the worst. i find it biting with an unpleasant chemical quality. lemon furniture polish gone rancid. the bergamot and lavender lack any warmth for me. none of the remaining ingredients comes up to rescue the astringent impact. looking at the notes, i don't see anything that i normally dislike, but somehow this mix rubs me the wrong way. it does remind me of some fragrance in a long ago past which is perhaps the root of the displeasure. maybe from the 70's when i found many "men's" fragrances harsh. as such, it sits in the nook by the doorway waiting to be adopted by one of my friends who might take pity on this sad sad scent. this probably has fans. it may work with different body chemistry. however, i don't want it on me.

This really reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on. A little rubbery, synthetic in a way, herbal, masculine of the locker-room variety but that part is subtle. I think it smells like burnt rubber, like someone did a huge break nearby with a car, asphalt, smoke and rubber. But subtly wafting in the background of a men's lockerroom behind a pool (I get some kind of chlorine too or camphor.) Interesting, but not for me.

Jaspé is very vetiverish to me. It does remind me of a men's fragrance from the 80's but I can't remember the name. Mmmkay... nothing special, at least to me.

Masculine, fresh lavender scent I also get leather, sandalwood and slight spicey notes. Quite pleasant but doesn't suit me.

Right from the get-go, you get L'Eau d'Issey. Dry down is a bit different but the opening just smells too familiar.
