ALERT! Mimosa lovers must try Rendez Vous! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. If you're looking for sunshiny mimosa floral happiness - Rendez Vous has got you. This is the perfume equivalent of Reese Witherspoon. Yes, I can see some resemblance to things like Givenchy Amarige due to the warm enveloping mimosa floral emphasis. In the beginning (first 10 minutes) Rendez Vous reminded me a lot of Guerlain Champs Elysees but it gets warmer and more dense than that one. It also has a more natural feel than fragrances like Amarige or Champs Elysees. Rendez Vous is a vibrant, cheerful floral. If I think about it I can detect the mimosa, violet, green notes, and almond blossom quite clearly. The almond is not the nut or liquor, it's not gourmand, but more along the lines of the almond blossom. This is very much a floral fragrance; I don't get much vanilla or anything other than vibrant, warm florals. Someone below me said you'd like to be around a person wearing this fragrance, and I think that's very much the case. It's not a statement-making or sexy scent, but it is such a sweet, floral, radiant ray of light, anyone smelling this on you will love it. Others have called it powdery, but this doesn't register as powdery to me (no baby powder at all). Longevity: moderate about 5-6 hours (lasts much better on clothing/fabric) Sillage: depending on how much you apply it's either intimate or moderate Rating: 10/10 Sublime Bright Warm Floral. I purchased a 30 mL bottle from Teo Cabanel and have been wearing it the past 2 days. I'm definitely about to buy a 100 mL because I know I want this around.

Editing the previous review and adding on to impressions:This a sunny rounded soft and fluffy kind of mimosa, fluffed up by gentle violet . I must admit I have rarely come across such a light almost elfic spring. This is in the same range of sadly discontinued Kenzo Summer. But this is a great substitute possibly better. For all the spring mimosa -Violet -iris lovers - this is the place to be. Its dry down is one-for-one Trussardi exclusive line Porta Nuova . In fact testing these both fragrances made it clear that there are very small differences between them . Porta Nova being somewhere a deeper and richer fragrance , and TC ‘a creation would be more transparent and superfluous .The scent is comforting happy , has nothing to do with definition of sexy: it’s all about your personal mood for rounded inoffensive sweet mimosa in a sunny spring sun. Just what’s needed to lift the spirit. No disappointment of a blind buy here - I am sure my 100ml bottle will have quite a dent. However, my Trussardi exclusive Porta Nuova is a steady love, where as Teo Cabanel is a strong like. Having them both - possibly doesn’t make sense but given my all favourite note+one (mimosa) makes it such a pleasure to have also this one . No regrets at all.

I am blown away by this house in general! The customer service, eco friendly products, introductory offers and attention to detail is exemplary. I have tried Rendezvous as part of the discovery I recently received and I have almost used up this sample alone! Although the beautiful concoction of light florals does lean slightly more feminine, I love wearing this as a confident man. Definitely worth a try at least and I hope to pick up full bottle asap! Update; I recently received my 100ml bottle of Rendezvous and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Some have said this leans more feminine but as a man in my early forties I love this scent on me. It lasts 4-5 hours on my skin but has lasted on my clothing for over 3 days now! I would highly recommend trying the discovery set from Teo Cabanel. My next purchase from the house will likely be café cabanel.

Wow! Totally agree with most reviewers here - you HAVE to like mimosa to like this smell! It's an unabashed yellow flower bomb. However, there's the familiar clean note that Teo Cabanel seems to have nailed in their bottles of late - this one is a bit more talc-y than some of the other bottles I've smelt though. There's definitely a tonka note, but it's blended beautifully into the talc cleanliness of this smell. Can totally imagine this being pulled off by a chic Parisien/Parisienne in the summer months. Maybe a bit too mimosa-heavy for a full bottle for me, but a very lovely fragrance to smell.

Mmmm, this is a really sweet, bright floral fragrance. It has a clean, airy powderiness that would probably be a little bit shrill if it weren't for the delicious almond and tonka notes that round it out with their malty, putty-like smoothness. It's like washing dainty, feminine garments in a basin with floral-scented laundry detergent, and like a freshly baked angel food cake in a sunny flower shop. This smells the way Elle Fanning looks—that classical, rounded, Madonna-like beauty; all soft, doll-like elegance; cream, butter, and sunlight.

Rendez-vous is a refined perfume with a strong French vein. It is a dusty and sweet perfume but not too much ... a certain sweetness is perceived, also due to mimosa. Almond feels initially and then becomes lighter over time. It is a delicate perfume, I really like it! Sillage: 7./10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Scent: 8.5/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Combining almond and powdery notes is a winning combo. At the moment I lean to more masculine scents for myself but this is beautiful. On women this is just delicious! sweet and clean, very attractive, not necessarily in a sexual way, you just want to be around the person wearing this. Give it a try, performance is above average.

A lovely mimosa scent! I love the almond that helps support it as a bit warmer and less garden-y. It's light and feminine. I had the sample-scent discount and ended up ordering a bottle. I don't think of myself liking floral scents, but this "yellow floral" is fun and unique without being strange.

Rendez vous has refreshing scent that still manages to be sensual . To me it smells like apple,honey, Amber,and a Little bit of tobacco in the best way I have tried it a few times from a sampler although I always end up ending having to take it off (let me explain) . Whenever I go somewhere nice or fancy I like to use a samples or something I don't wear a lot so I can associate it with the place so everytime I have tried it on and I do like two or three sprays (my usual amount) and then I have to change because it is too strong. Unlike a lot of fragrances that I have samplers of this one is very strong and long lasting with a big silage and usually that would be a good thing but when you go out to eat you don't want to taste your perfume . But other than that small underestimation on my part this is a beautiful scent just remember to use sparingly.🙂

This smells like pure sunshine! My first thought when I smelled Rendez-vous was that this is what I imagined Amouage Sunshine would smell like based on the notes and reviewers' descriptions (unfortunately for me, all I get is a sharp herbal scent out of that one, and none of the sweet, gourmand notes everyone seems to rave about). Rendez-vous is warm, soft, gently sweet and inviting. On me, it's not really powdery but it does have the velvety texture of a powdery fragrance if that makes any sense. The notes that stand out for me are Mimosa, almond, and vanilla.

A beautiful floral fragrance that is hugely reminiscent of LouLou by Cacharel for me. It just evokes a different time in my life and transports me there instantly. It moves in a different direction in the dry down and is far more refined than the late 80s classic, but it pays homage to that time. For a ‘classic’ feminine scent, it’s very modern and will suit younger people as well as those that remember LouLou when it rocked every workplace and school. Bodacious

Surely a floral fragrance from beginning to the end and Jasmine is very clear to my nose. It is really nice fragrance and to me smells a little similar to Van Cleef & Arpels California Reverie, but I prefer the Van cleef one more to be honest. In the very dry down, I get a very small touch of minty smell, similar to aura by Mugler. Performance is very good and works good in spring I guess.

Teo Cabanel creations are always a surprise - and Rendez-Vous is a pleasant one. This smells like spring in a bottle. It reminds me of acacia trees in full bloom, warmed up by the sun. I also get almonds, very similar to Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense. Actually, I find these two frags have a lot in common. Rendez-Vous is loud - nothing intimate about it, so don't overspray it.

This perfume is perfect for Mimosa lovers. It is so lovely for spring, very powdery and floral. I can smell mimosa, violet and jasmin. It is a very feminine and delicate scent. 7/10 I like this brand. For my husband: the fav are Barkhane (a warm spicy oriental perfume) and Café Cabanel (a sweet and spicy perfume); For me: Et voila (a soapy fragrance).

As I sprayed this my husband said "this brings me back to the 90's" and he was right! There is something really comforting in this powdery floral scent that unlocked old memories. This scent is mainly florals - my achilles heel - but with the combination of almond, vanilla and musk it just works really well for me.

For me, the violet scent is the most dominant. I would have liked a clearer mimosa and almond scent. But it is a nice summer scent, floral, sweet, warm and feminine. I wouldn't buy a whole bottle but it's fun to try. I haven't tried any perfumes from Teo Cabanel before.

If you've smelled the Immortelle range by L'Occitane, you know where this is going. The opening is a blast of sunny immortelle, followed by a semi-powdery drydown with the sweet notes peeking through around the first hour.

Almond and mimosa is mostly what I get from this one. This it is really lovely for springtime. It sets close to the skin, and is gone after two hours on my skin. A really natural flower scent 😊 Safe blind buy.

A really nice floral fragrance with subtle citrusy nuances in the background, although the citrus is not listed in the notes. It feels fresh, like morning dew. Very pleasant, however, not unique.

I’m not a fan of mimosa but I love this. It’s floral, powdery and nice. I get clean girl aesthetics vibe. Like a lady who’s put together. Classy and fashionable in a formal way.

A big bouquet ofyellow flowers. Addictive and really femine. But I feel like I definitely smelled something really similar before. It smells very designer to me.

I received a decant of this scent as part of my purchase of Et Voila earlier this year. I can't comment on the performance since it's just a decant, but I have used this decant on 2-3 different occasions over time, so I will comment on the scent profile and how it makes me feel. Basically, it's a nice scent, but that's about it. Nothing really stands out here that would make me want to wear this on a regular basis. It starts of with florals up top, with a bit of a powdery profile. If you go deep enough with your nose into the scent, you can kind of pick up the almond notes in there too. As the scent continues its dry down, the almond note seems to become more prominent, with the florals taking a back seat. The almond here creates a smooth earthiness. After that, it seems to transition back to the florals. I think this scent is good for warmer months of the year and daytime in general. It leans more on the unisex side and smells very nice and inoffensive. Could be OK for work, but maybe leans more casual than professional. Doesn't contain any spiciness, dark or warm notes, so I would avoid wearing this during colder months or at night. While the scent smells very natural and not synthetic, it isn't really a scent I would want to buy a full bottle of, nor make it part of my regular rotation, as I have other more interesting scents in my collection than this.

I love a powdery scent, and I enjoy most white and purple florals. Rendez Vous has let me know that I might not be the hugest fan of yellow florals - it's a bomb of mimosa with some clean, powdery facets in the background. I don't hate it, but the mimosa is just so strong and sharp - dare I say cloying? Maybe I'd like it more as a shower gel or candle, if it were a bit softer, but I'm having trouble enjoying it as a perfume.

This is a mimosa bomb. Vintage-smelling - powdery sweet and pollen-like. Very French and feminine. Beautifully made. Good silage and longevity for this type of scent - but it also is a bit heavy to my nose. But I’m beginning to realise that I’m not a great fan of mimosa. I usually like powdery scents and other yellow florals. Mimosa just doesn’t work on my skin. Try this if you love mimosa.

I received a sample of this and there is a note in it that smells skanky. I pick this note up in most yellow floral-based fragrances, but it smells like urine and the smell is stronger on fabric. It is for this reason that I am not a fan. However, I do believe that on the right person this may smell amazing.

I find this very strong and sharp. Smells like something a very chic fashionable grandma would wear. I don’t hate it, but it needs to be layered with something else to work for me. Something light and sweet. If you like an intense floral smell, especially mimosa, you’ll like this.

Almonds, both the flower and the tree nut. Inoffensive and likeable, but with just enough of a twist to be interesting. On me, Rendez-Vous stays a lovely, linear almond combo for three to four hours, then begins to merge into a fresh floral. At this point, it stays close to skin.

Incredibly sharp mimosa opening - the almond here also smells like almond alcohol without sweetness, dried down. Very vintage feel, very classic however not my style - it is just too sharp to wear

Super strong yellow florals, but the headache inducing kind. Not my favorite!

Rendez-Vous is an ambiguous powdery floral with sweet, leafy undertones. I feel like it’s lacking in character however, I find myself wanting more and unfortunately don’t enjoy it a whole bunch when it’s on my skin. Mimosa leads the way, which is at once soapy and sweet, with gentle green and powdery nuances beneath. Bitter almond, violet and orange blossom further this powdery facet, whilst violet leaf and jasmine give the scent some much needed lift. Personally I find the mimosa note is overpowering, it makes the overall scent feel messy and vulgar. I’m not a fan of this, Teo Cabanel has much better offerings in my opinion.

I get a lot of mimosa, I get some musk. Quite pretty, a bit boring, fresh, also a bit vintage smelling. Smells like something my grandmother used to wear.

Headache inducing, smells like diaper cream. Scrubber for me.

I really am impressed with this brand. I have 13 of their perfume samples... Many of these fragrances remind of something Etat Libre D'Orange would have in their line. Similar vibes for sure. I own 2 bottles (so far) from ELDO and have more on my wishlist. Now I have at least 3 perfumes from Tea Cabanel on my wishlist too (and possibly another 2 or 3 - still testing/deciding). My top 3 are: • Cafe Cabanel (for sure getting) • Et Viola (in love and Yes I am getting this too) • Rendez-vous (only if has decent longevity 5-6 hours) I am still testing for longevity on Rendez-vous though, so it may not make it into my collection. But this is really lovely, easy reach kind of delicious floral-gourmand. The other 3 fragrances I am still interested in & tested are: • Oh La La • Barkhane • Peau Salee Worthy brand to pick up some sample or discovery kit.

Very french in style, but given teo cabanel is a French perfume house this isn't surprising. It starts off with strong mimosa which then fades into powdery florals with a strong streak of violet. This lasts a long time and my skin tends to eat fragrance so means it must have very good lasting power on normal skin. I love violet and I also like powdery florals so in theory this should be to my taste. It is nice enough but I do have fragrances with violet notes I like more in my collection and this isn't as well blended as other powdery florals. However, this is cheaper than them and lasts a long time and projects well and in my opinion good value for what it is.

Teo Cabanel Discovery Kit 3/14 Rendez-vous | I like mimosa, but I'm not a fan of almond. This scent reminds me of Goest’s almond-centric Dauphine with the powderiness of Flower by Kenzo. In fact, it shares a slew of notes with Kenzo: a heart of violet, jasmine, rose and a base of vanilla and musk. For me, I can’t quite identify mimosa on its own, but there’s something here that “wakes up” the the other notes for daytime use. I wonder if that’s the mimosa? I think Flower by Kenzo can be a bit sleepy and blanket-like. Echoing other reviewer’s thoughts — you need to like mimosa, but I think you have to like almond, too. For me, it’s a like, but not a love.

I have sprayed Rendez Vous on my wrist and was immediately reminded of some perfume I know and probably own. Since I have a big collection I needed to dig a little deeper just to find out that it really reminds me of Roberto Cavalli edp. Maybe there is something wrong with my nose but it's a lot like it. Of course it's more musky, soft and delicate, more bright and girly for sure but the vibe is there. It's like the French version of Cavalli edp. Like it!

Spring in a bottle for sure! I instantly got the violet and violet leaf, so powdery but in a green, fresh dewy way. I love the scents of spring, this one turns a bit grainy earthy, and mimosa pops out too. This smells extremely similar to Phlur Not Your Baby for me in terms of the notes, except the violet note is much more pronounced here, and it's a tad more powdery with the orange blossom. The scent bubble this gives off is not appealing but the mimosa note is very beautiful and honeyed, like golden nectar.

A pleasant clean and feminine smelling floral perfume, especially if you’re a mimosa lover. To me it’s in a similar world as beige by Chanel, although I prefer the Chanel and the performance is better. Nevertheless this is a spring like, uplifting, day-time appropriate powdery floral.

I really like this one, but it’s very close to Esprit d’Oscar which I already have: Smooth, slightly powdery with sweet-tart floral notes and a feel like fancy lotion. It lasts nicely all day. If I put on too much, I get indole, which I dislike a lot, but it never overtakes. Pretty!

Like the name suggest, I think this is a great date fragrance. It will not work if your date is looking for a strong masculine viking type. This more like a French actor playboy scent. I love it, reminds me of Versace Dreamer.

I get no mimosa in this and predominantly violets. Most of the Teo Cabanel perfumes in their discovery set have been a miss for me. For a much nicer mimosa violet perfume, I recommend The Favourite by Penhaligon's.

Okay hear me out... I looove this on paper. Mimosa and almond are heaven. But when I tried it on my skin I'm getting a wet dog vibe. Anybody else?

This definitely reminds me of amarige probably the way the florals are done.
