I don't like tuberose scents, they are too usually too flowery for my taste. I love Party Pris. Mild tuberose and ylang, balsamy, mysterious, soft, feminine and at the same time clean and sexy. I even feel a mild touch of coconut at moments. Changing continuously on my skin and it lasts forever. I bet men will love it on a female!

This is really unusual as it reminds me of banana liquor with licorice. Looking at the notes it must be the ylang ylang and Tolu Balsam giving off this thick, heavy and sweet vibe. As it dries down, the vanilla comes out and this might turn powdery on some people, but it doesn't on me. These notes might turn a lot of people off but I like pungent fragrances that can't be ignored and this definitely fits the bill. This is so strange I find it unisex because something this complex and bold can only be worn by someone with the balls to pull it off. Not for the casual consumer, but any man or woman who likes Tom Ford Champaca Albsolu or Armani Prive Vert Malachite might see the appeal of this one. Again, I like them weird and loud, and I also happen to like banana liquor and black licorice so this is a no brainer for me. Everyone else, approach with caution.

It is a super pretty and soft scent that is heavy on ylang ylang and tuberose and laid on a very warm base that is dominated by vanilla and some balsamic/woody qualities. No roses, no fruits, no spices on me. It has a dreamy, comfy, warm and powdery quality that would make it a great companion for winter and autumn. I was wearing it during a rainy colder summer day and it disappears lightning fast but fills the hour or two with a golden and warm scent. I can detect it later on, but a a skin scent. The warm vanilla, balsamic and woodsy background reminds me of Want by Dsquared or Ylang in Gold by Micallef.

It smelled like less offensive version of Chanel No5 on me. I wouldn't necessarily buy it again myself, but if got it gifted, I'd gladly use it up.

This was unfortunately lovely in the air, light powdery floral with a nice balance between the ylang and tuberose (which is not my favorite) but the moment it hit my skin it turned it turned into a nightmare. I could not wash it off fast enough. Wow. I wasn’t able to get it completely off, but after a couple washes it turned very clean, light, airy floral, and familiar, as if I had smelled it before which seems highly unlikely. Scent memory is so strange sometimes.

This one is not a tipical tuberose scent. The stingy face of tuberose turns up at the very beggining, arm in arm with the creamy, though contradictory ylang, with some dry, greenish vetiver in the background. Than the whole juice turns into a very sweet vanillic stuff, linear, one sided, and indifferent. It is a "safe" frag, nothing special, and really poor on tuberose.

This one is an odd one. Opens with a massive dose of talcum powder (tuberose). Definitely feminine. Not much development, complexity. A very linear scent. Pleasant, but nothing special or worth the asking price. Overall rating: ⭐⭐ out of 5.

Parti Pris by Terry De Gunzburg- A Beautiful Fragrance. Vanilla, Tuberose, Ylang, Labdanum, Turkish Rose, Tolu Balsam are the notes that stood out most for me of the twelve notes listed. Vanilla and Tuberose dominate throughout. Labdanum and Tolu Balsam hold third and fourth place. Turkish rose and ylang lurk below but are still noticable. Parti Pris maintains a very elegant warm personality, never flamboyant or waving it's banner. It sits and listens rather than stomps and speaks loudly. It radiates gently like soft waves on a placid lake. This softness, however, is not a sign of weakness, No, It maintains a moderate sillage with an impressive longevity for such a soft fragrance. It was still noticeable after eight hours. Although designed for women, this also works great for men, and although it worked well on me, As a man I, personally, would rather go for something with more strength! More daring! Much more noisy! But that's just me. I like to push boundaries. Parti Pris by Terry De Gunzburg- A very lovely, gentle, long lasting perfume.

Parti Pris is a feminine vanilla floral and it reminds me a bit of Bond No 9 West Side after I have had West Side on for about 10 hours. They smell NOTHING alike in the opening or the first hour. West Side is a very boozy, potent fragrance but it softens into a rosy vanilla and the very VERY far dry down reminds me slightly of Parti Pris. PP is a pleasant enough fragrance but really soft and not very remarkable. But it is a pretty, sweet, floral vanilla very light on the tuberose.

This warm and lovely concoction is akin to Tom Ford's Velvet Orchid; a little less spicy and a bit more vanilla. It's pretty but not twee. It's not very original or particularly tuberose, either. The flower here is rich and oriental, with a strong heart of vanilla, nothing at all like Fracas. I already have Velvet Orchid, so I don't need this one, too.

This is very pretty, spring smelling scent, light lovely tuberose, but 4 noses and they couldn't create better longevity or more complexity!? For the price I would have expected more, more depth, more nuances,this is real nice, but not willing to pay so much I admit.

I couldn't scrub this off. so cloying and really NOT PLEASANT at all...yak... I Think the ylang-ylang is just sooo concentrated that it gives me nausea. I did not mention ant tuberose that I was looking for, the scent developed into vanillary base.

I usually love tuberose perfumes, my top ones are Carnal Flower by Malle and Beyond Love by Kilian. This one though, smells more of talcum powder than tuberose. It's nice but not something I would choose for a perfume.

Nice enough, not a heavy hitter such as Versace's Blonde or Fracas here, the tuberose is very much subdued. Some vanilla,maybe a dash of something floral and thats it. Doesn't develop much either.

I might be mad, but it remind me of TF amber absolute 😳 long time gone and missed I don't get any vanilla or tuberose is just incense, labdanum and Amber, which is not even listed

Not a fan of this. It has a pickle juice note on me. Straight to the charity shop. There’s nobody I dislike enough in my life, to gift this to.
