So, I was very very eager to put my hands on this bottle, I am a huge fan of Tesori d'Oriente and I love almost every scent they have produced over the years. Coming to this one I certainly smell a resemblance to Hermes' "L'eau/elixir des merveilles when fresh sprayed. The orange, patchouli and Woody notes mix is predominant. When it dries down, it settles to a much warmer, less zesty, balmy scent. There is something very anise or liquorice like that I can definitely smell, this mixed with the dark vanilla notes which are much similar to the ones in Dior's "Hypnotic Poison". It lasts about 8hrs and its sillage is moderate on my skin. In my opinion you have Always to consider the price of a perfume to judge the quality of it as well. I am a cheapo lover myself (being a student I can't really afford designers or niche) and I think that there are a lot of scents that are so expensive and don't smell expensive at all (Yes, I am referring to some generic gourmands and shower gel-like compositions), while I think that this one perfume is already quite sophisticated for its price and very nice and in my opinion the bottle is gorgeous, even if simple. I haven't been let down by this composition at all :)

Based on these reviews I would have thought it is vile and would have never decided to buy it. Luckily, I have a bagno crema so I decided to give it a try. It is wounderfully happy and comforting scent- orange and amber are dominant and I don't get the stinky stale scent that the others are reffering to. Maybe patchouli is giving them that sensation but to me it isn't overpowering and is quite well blended with orange and amber.To me it is perfect for a summer day/night as a warm ray of sunshine. On the other hand their Tesori's Thai spa is glorified in the reviews but it is terrible to me. Never blind buy Thai spa. It smells like you've entered an elephant part of the zoo. My friend blind bought it and we both tried it together- it was terrible and I couldn't wash it off. I hope I help someone with my review. My opinion is that Tesori's scents are great value for the price but you should never blind buy them.

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and experience these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if I do not go I will spray them in the rooms ... Ayurveda by Tesori d'Oriente is a fragrance with sour and fresh opening notes widely citrusy, slightly fruity and fresh-spicy background, timid amber, balsamic and boises hints emerge in the dry down. The citrus freshness dominates the olfactory experience. Very cool, summery. Reminiscent of a masterpiece by the great master Jean Claude Ellena Elixir des Merveilles by Hermès.

This is interesting and doesn't smell at all like what I imagined based on the notes. This smells like lemon sherbert or lemon curd - lemony and fresh but also creamy. It has a slightly medicinal, powdery undertone too. After the opening, which is strong and smells almost completely like a dessert, it becomes a moderately strong citrusy, creamy musk. Very different but I can't yet decide if that's for the better or for the worse. I haven't smelled any of the perfumes people above compare it to, so to me it's a brand new thing. It's above average strong and long-lasting, although not exceptionally so - Tiare from the same brand is both stronger and more resilient.

Tesori d’Oriente is my favourite line of cheapies. Auyrveda is one of their latest releases, packed in a very attractive bottle. The scent itself is a sweet orange-patchouli-vetiver combo. As my list of ‘haves’ and ‘hads’ testifies, I love this type of orangey-minty-woody scent and I’ve worn various interpretations of it, be it posh and spicy (e.g. FM Noir Epices), fresh and uplifting (e.g. Coco Mademoiselle) or tacky and loud (e.g. Lush Karma). Price-wise, Ayurveda is much closer to Karma, but when it comes to its development and lasting power, one would never guess that it is so affordable; it lasts over 8 hours.

A pleasant orange balm with grounding, earthy nuances. Although I am unable to point out one note that would smell actually natural, the whole composition gives me nature scent (e.g. rain, fall leaves, sun on the sand, etc.) vibes. Ayurveda is a relaxing and inoffensive comfort scent that can be worn anywhere where you just want to feel safe and ok. I get about 6 hours of longevity on skin and 8 on clothes with medium projection. Another subtly interesting, lovely cheapie from Tesori - I just can't stop appreciating this brand.

Ayurveda is really a panacea. It is not a perfume for big occasions or for common occasions. You will ask: "If it is not for any occasion, what is the appropriate opportunity?". The answer is simple: "It's one of those fragrances that should be worn (personally I recommend) just out of the shower, before going to sleep or before reading a book." I do not see this connection with India despite the spices. Peru Balsam and Amber are the main notes and they are wonderful! P.s.:Orange? where is it?

Clean, crisp and fresh perfume with a spicy twist. The opening is a bit alcoholic and orangey/lemony but as it dries down it becomes this earthy and balmy scent (but still fresh). Definitely daytime summer/spring/ autumn fragrance. The only downside for is that this does not last super long, so i usually use it as my gym fragrance, but for the price tag i can’t complain. It definitely pulls more feminine, but i can see guys wearing this too because of the woody notes.

Fresh citrus bomb it smells like the lemon scented wipes you get in restaurants . I don’t really get spices at all this’s nice but not special or complex it’s the type of fragrance that you put on when you want to smell fresh and casual without thinking of what to wear or after a shower i personally enjoy it in this summer It’s not sweet or anything all i get is limes and woods it lasts a very long time and i really appreciate the price

I kind of expected this to remind me of Karma by Lush, just because they have a few notes in common (and their evocative names). However, Ayurveda is a different beast. On me it is mostly dark vetiver flanked by citrus, with very little in common with the bright, uplifting character of Karma. Even when judged on its own merits, I find this one overpowers me easily, and makes me vaguely nauseous even when applied lightly.

The only difference between Ayurveda and Dali's Sunrise in Cadacquès is a fresh minty note in the opening of Ayurveda. I am wearing both right now to compare. Ayurveda is a tad smoother than SiC, but they are sooo similar, especially the dry-down. Quite potent and longlasting. Edit: I actually like Ayurveda better than SiC. SiC has this nails-on-blackboard screechiness which I find difficult to tolerate.

I hate Iris and Violet combination in perfumes but this one I find perfect blend. It's summer, day time perfume... You will really feel clean and fresh, and the smell is not soapy fresh, what I find best about it. Top notes are orange and bergamote, with a drop of lemon...but really juciy lemon. :) Longevity is moderate...around 3 hr, silage is also moderate.

A wonderful, complex fragrance, extremely profitable. It's fruity, but in a refined, mature way. I feel like it's impossible not to like him. It is found in the entire series of cosmetics and household chemicals. Interestingly, quite long-lasting. This is my favorite fragrance out of all the cheaper ones

Ambery citrusy beauty! Fresh and warm at the same time. I mostly recomend it as a transitional fragrance from autumn to winter. Very easy to wear! Yes, it reminds me of Hermes Eau des Merveilles, but it's not that similar. Nevertheless it's pretty nice... And its price!? You can't beat it!

As someone who owns La Rive Donna, I think Ayurveda is the affordable alternative to D&G Light Blue that Donna is trying to be. Aryuveda is sharper than Donna but boils down to a spicy citrus with floral undertones and the performance is much better.

Such a STUNNING mix of citrus and pepper. It is very refreshing in an elegant way - not too sharp, well-blended. It leans feminine imo - but I can see that a man can pull it off as well because it is very woody.

This somehow for whatever reason reminded me of Avenuts (due to the fruitiness). I even sprayed it twice just in case I wasn't going crazy. I mean it's not a clone but it just reminds me a lot of Aventus.

This is a very fresh citrus scent, mood lifting and energizing. I consider the quality to be more of a body spray and I love to layer it with a sandalwood perfume for example.

Orange and patchouli with the signature Tesori (reads soap to me) drydown. Clean woody patchouli in case you're worried. Personally I wish it were stinkier. Solid like.

Nice, but prefer it in the shower gel form. Not a memorable scent, but overall okay

I LOVE it. Another one of those soapy clean laundry scents with floral-fruity twists. It really is more of a pleasant clean scent. Fresh, inoffensive and crisp. I don't find it weak at all as it's actually quite strong in that laundry detergent musk base. It doesn't smell perfume-y, but really more like something you'd wash yourself or your clothes with. I love it as it's perfect for my line of work (I work in a gym). Just a fresh, clean, professional, harmless fruity laundry scent. I'm happy with it.

I had such high hopes but this is a watered down spicy citrusy scent that would be better as a roomspray rather a perfume.

This is the most strange scent from Tesori. Bottle is cute but scent isnt. Its blended that Way you cannot distinct anything special. I was expecting Indian amla with patchouli, smth earthy, balmy or little sour or herbal maybe. But no. Thanks to little patchouli and oakmoss it is like camphore, it leaves like tickeling rotten humidity in your nose, but it is not nice. Its not fresh, nor sweet, or spicy. Its wierd. This scent is a mess. It could be toilet detergent in India? I love my other tesoris, but this was bad blindbuy.

I should love it, as I love elexir: orange, amber... but, I really can’t stand this kind of sweet creamy musky Vetiver note in the mix. It is nauseating. Really impossible for me and makes all the difference. (It is exactly like Adopt Terranova.)

It's similar to Hermes EDM but in drydown I get stale note and I totally understand: it can't reach Hermes Quality for that price.I still wear Hermes but this one was given away after few wearings.

Sorry but I really dislike this perfume. It is one of the few blind buys that I have really regretted. I bought it because I love Hermes' EDM. I know why people do compare these but there is a note in this perfume that is there right from the get go that makes me gag. It is a stale, rotten, dirty note that is there all the time. You know how awful orange juice tastes after minty toothpaste? It's exactly like that, notes that clash so much that they should never even be in the same room together (ever!) I am an extremely tolerant and broad minded lover of perfume and have let scents grow on me so even if it begins with confusion it can be an education which leads to appreciation and then even love. Not with this one though. This just smells wrong and will never be right for me. I have read other people use this word to describe perfumes that I dearly love and it is the only word that will do (which I have never uttered before..) This is just vile.

I keep believing the reviews and buying these Tesori d’Oriente fragrances. 2 so far. This does not smell like elixir de merveilles. It’s harsh. Chemically, and is more like a cleaning product kind of smell. It lacks the smoothness and bright realistic orange of the Hermes. It’s not even close in my opinion. It just smells cheap. Why oh why don’t I learn my lesson. Now I have 2 of these that are relegated to being air fresheners. I’m leaving this review to remind myself next time I’m tempted to try one - DONT.

The bottle is so pretty, the longevity and the sillage too, but God I hate this fragrance. It truly stinks. I can't bare to be in the same room as someone that wears it.

Not as lasting as other tesoris, reminds me a bit of their hamman, citrus start and sweater woody drydown. 10/5 for me but i like the bottle very much and the sustance how tesori is sprayed, very watery and refershing

Citrusy & aromatic but smells dirty on my skin....so far all citrus scents smells dirty on my skin, not sure why....

Excellent for the chilly spring mornings. It's crisp and citrusy. I will definitely purchase it again!
