Fior di Loto

This is advertised as a unisex fragrance. You have it listed as 'for women'. If the mistake is yours, please fix it. As far as the fragrance goes, it's one of my favorites from the Tesori d'Oriente line, many of which are amazing at €5. 1. Legno di Guajaco (men) ★★★★★ doesn't impress out of the bottle, but develops REALLY nicely on me; a favorite of mine at any price, I'd probably pay €15 for this one... maybe even €20; 2. Fior de Loto (unisex) ★★★★☆ delicious start, mellows as it develops, and reminds me of Pina colada; worth €10 all day long... which is about how long its fragrance lasts on me; 3. Sandolo del Kashmir & Vetiver (unisex) ★★★★☆ strong from start to finish, apparently sandalwood and vetiver just mix really well; I'd gladly pay €10; 4. Hammam (unisex) ★★★☆☆ deliciously 'bright' start, a bit weaker development; I'd pay €7-8; 5. Vaniglia Zenzero (unisex) ★★☆☆☆ too much vanilla at the start, develops an interesting 'earthy moss' note as it develops; worth the €5; 6. Byzantium (unisex) ★★☆☆☆ very sweet start, less impressive, and slightly bitter (on me), finish; worth the €5; 7. Ambra Indiana (unisex) ★☆☆☆☆ average start, mediocre finish; because of the interesting 'leather' note, I'd pay €2-3, but not €5; can't recommend; 8. Aegyptus (unisex) ☆☆☆☆☆ very promising start, boring finish; can't recommend; 9. Muschia Bianco (unisex) ☆☆☆☆☆ pleasant start, boring, almost unpleasant, finish; can't recommend; Obviously, these are just opinions, and relative to me. You might have completely different results. For instance, a friend of mine LOVES the Byzantium on herself... and I have to admit it smells better on her than me. Nine fragrances for under €50 total, including shipping, was worth it. Hell, discovering the Legno di Guajaco, Fior de Loto, and Sandolo del Kashmir & Vetiver was worth that already. Cheers, from Berlin.

I bet if this fragrance was Made by one of those Famous Houses or someone well known like say MFK for instance, all these people raving about how this smells cheap and plasticky and whatnot would have been singing the praises of this fragrance to high Heavens and even worse if they slapped on a couple of Hundred bucks on this. People can’t just appreciate good and affordable things when they see one. This fragrance is no different from most of the underperforming mainstream fragrances y’all cop for 500 bucks except that most time, it’s just the brand name you pay for, nothing special. Can people just enjoy a Unique and nice scent for what it is and not always try to act all knowing, experts in perceiving Scents and snobbish. Also just because a perfume is less than $10 dont mean it’s not good quality, even your high-end and Designer perfumes are made of synthetic ingredients too. Hell these brands are just rip offs most times and it’s YOUR fault choosing to fall for their marketing theatrics. You gave a Niche house $1000 and so you think you got the Best and purest of scents and so you can’t believe that another house makes something as good or even better than that for lesser and good value lmao, thats the problem! It’s called “sheep” behavior. Get over yourself! Having said all that: I think this fragrance is absolutely beautiful and there’s absolutely nothing cheap about it (perfumes don’t make you smell cheap, y’all kill me with this line all the time) if there’s anything it does, it’s a compliment magnet. People will legit want to sniff and eat you lol. Tessori did good with this, one of the best from this house. ❤️

This is a scent that I've learned to love bit by bit, until it reached the top of my preferencies. I am a "hunter" for little treasures like this fragrance, because: 1. I like perfumes that are unique 2. I'd never judge a fragrance by its price or packaging (sometimes I consider it a plus) 3. I got dissapointed sooo many times by expensive perfumes 4. I'd rather support smaller brands and spend my money (for which I work very hard) on a good concept than spend it on high end products that are all about marketing and advertising... Well, I consider this fragrance, and actually almost 90% of TDO fragrances extremely good, even if some are not necessarily my cup of tea. Fior di Loto smells expensive, classy, rich, complex, well structured and s.o. Not a usual perfume, though, so try it before. First of all I get strong tuberose, sweet peach, lingering creamy vanilla and sandalwood, innocent lotus flower. To me this isn't an oriental scent, it's more like "mediteranean" :). Extremely sensual, feminine, not sexy but voluptuous, iconic and alluring. I imagine gourgeous Italian actress Sofia Loren wearing it. I just can't get enough of it, I can talk about this scent for days and I CANNOT belive I said all these words about a perfume that costs 4 Euros!! It doesn't resemble to any scent I've ever smelled, longevity reaches days. A five star fragrance!

Another "Love it or hate it" aroma by TdO. If you are looking for delicate, gentle, airy floral for everyday use, this is not it. This one has a character that will not go unnoticed. Powerful and long-lasting, creamy-rich, woody-flowery, better on fabrics than skin. I wouldn't wear it in hot weather. Very intense and unique scent that is not for everyone - some people will find it suffocating, synthetic, or pungent. However, I personally love it - it's wild, exotic, intriguing. It gives me an energy boost and a desire to go out and explore. It vaguely reminds me of burning aroma sticks. I agree 100% with what others have said: As long as I enjoy a perfume, I couldn't care less about price, packaging, and brand name. I have had plenty of expensive and "luxurious" disappointments, as well as surprising precious gems for like 5-15 eur, which I have been repurchasing for years. If something is good AND affordable, of course, I am all for it! This is why I am a big fan of TdO - their perfumes are of excellent quality and performance. I have never been disappointed by them. Their scents are unique, rich, and well-balanced. Some of them are not exactly the kind of fragrances I love, but I appreciate the desire to produce something original and creative of their own, instead of making bland and generic scents to appeal to just everyone.

It's nice. Smells like soap to me. Maybe a face cream. Thick and rich. Very familiar and little bit nostalgic. It's not something I'd wear out but I like it in the fall for bumming around the house. 1/13/25 Growing on me. It's a thick cozy cocoon and I love it in winter snuggled up in bed. Finally realized it reminds me of the old aussie shampoo scent with an added peach note (which smells nothing like the current iteration.) My mom used that shampoo and that's why it's such a comforting, safe, nostalgic scent for me. 3/20/25 Ill just keep adding lol .. I bought fior di loto, Thai spa, hammam, and byzantine shower gel with matching edt and lotion. BYZANTINE (fyi my favorite perfume is loukhoum...I bought and love sweet oriental dream) is baby wipes. Kroger baby wipes specifically. I wear it but it smells like post partum depression. Loukhoum is in a separate universe. HAMMAM-lemony, you know maybe it has a pretty drydown but, who knows, it never lasts that long for me. THAI SPA- very 80s tuberose ... with a medicinal patchouli, green tea vibe. It's fucking rank. Violently early 90s late 80s. I hate it. Horrendous. Horrific. Fior di loto....the shower gel and lotion are more woodsy. Heavier on sandalwood. Very unisex in these forms. I like it even more. This is the stand out in the line thus far for me. By far.

this fragrance shurely contains more notes than the lotus flower. it smells like creamy sweet and exotic flowers layered on a woody-amber base. i could swear there is gardenia in it. on a tesori retailer site was stated fior di loto features also orangeflower and jasmin. i agree it smells like crystal noir, same dark and mysterious initial blast and at the drydown it smells sensual and sweet with a touch of a coconutty vibe, which crystal noir also transports. it has also a lil' vanilla but to me it smells the most sweet and creamy floral-ambery at the drydown. very smooth and not at all cheap smelling or generic. it's softer, lighter, less edgy and complex than the versace scent, but it smells rich, intense and very longlasting. the sillage is awesome, just intoxicating ! can t stop sniffing the beautiful whafts floating around me. i will treat myself with a big bath of the shower-cream by next. this fragrance is a real winner of the tesori range. omg it's just fantastic! very recommendable, price can t be beaten. *keep sniffing* yumyum :D)

It is a boudoir perfume, it not thought for to be worn outside, but it is a good one. It is basically the relaxing smell of a strong woman, seductive and refined perfume without being sweet.I have this whole range, along with three more respectively Te verde, Ayurveda and Japanese ritual still this is my favourite. They did it very well, although I have to tell them that maybe they wanted a "Greek" perfume from Plato's Greece, the company being in fact Greek, but came out with a Greek-Egyptian combination, Greek floral with an Egyptian scent, but attention the ancient Egypt not the oriental one from today. We can say that it is a kind of Cleopatra of perfumes, Egyptian but with some Greek roots. Beautiful. A street version of it came from Ferragamo via Attimo, unfortunately discontinued,but the Greek company of Tesori thought of us, try Elode Blossom to make it resists well on your skin because it is not very concentrated use a hard moisturizer without perfume or vaseline, before put it on the skin part that you want.

I LOVE THIS SCENT. It reminds me of Italy. I first bought a bottle of the hand and body liquid soap back in 2015... Since then I always have the cream, the soap and the perfume with me. It’s a delicate, woody-floral scent. It opens warm and sweet like a hug. And it stays the whole day on me and on my clothes. It’s a supermarket brand in Italy and sadly not to be easily found there since 2018 anymore which saddens me a lot :( I actually am purchasing it from Germany via internet because I couldn’t find it in Italy (!) since 2019 anymore which is crazy. I love the perfume. It’s decent, elegant, not screamy or a show-off fragrance. Plus it’s Italy for me. <3

This perfume is perfect if you enjoy intense, slightly oriental scents that feel both strong and soft at the same time. At first, you mostly smell the orange, but as it settles, the lotus and peach start to stand out, blending with the white flowers. Later on, the sharpness fades, leaving a soft mix of woody notes, lotus, vanilla, and musk. It’s a lovely aromatic and oriental fragrance, soapy and aquatic that reminds me of clean laundry. Considering the price, bottle size, and overall quality, TdO really stands out, and other brands could learn from it.

Someone wrote below that this is a "delicate" fragrance. NOT at all, my friends! A few sprays of this, and you're all set for a few good hours, sillage and longevity-wise. It is a unique smell so I can recognize it immediately when someone wears it. Incredibly affordable and well worth it. Oh, and I don't get any cheap, plasticky or synthetic vibes either. I usually can't wear scents during the summer because they all vanish or turn into something weird, so I can't comment on how this performs during the warm season.

I use the hand cream as body cream (I have dry skin) and it is high quality but low price. Also, it is woodier than the perfume and not so violently ISO E-super based. It layers beautifully with all perfumes of my collection and gives a fresh, woodsy undertone. The cream? Highly recommended. The perfume might be too much.

This perfume is absolutely gorgeous! The lotus note is so fresh and aquatic, it really makes you feel like you're standing by a serene pond. The dry down is warm and inviting with the sandalwood and vanilla. It's perfect for day or night.

I am the proud owner of 5 of the many tesori d`oriente perfumes. Mmm... what can I say about this one? I should review Fior di Loto - parfumo aromatico, 100 ml. The perfume was a present. I liked especially the design of the bottle. it is metallic, with a plastic cap, and has a gunmetal color. it is also adorned with graphics depicting greek imagery. a very nice, artistic touch, though I have to say that I`m disappointed that this isn`t as finely processed quality wise as I would have liked it to be- but then again, there are many perfumes whose bottles are nicely designed, but fail in the department of quality (nina ricci- l`air du temps- its plastic cap, although nicely created looks so cheap!). I can`t complain because this isn`t that expensive. now... let`s review the scent itself! or better the scents! this is a niche fragrance, it doesn`t target large masses of clients. however it`s far from being pretentious. according to the description, the main note should be nelumbo nucifera- white lotus flower- which has an aromatic spectrum of watery scents.it radiates gracefulness and kindness, especially when faced with the lotus imagery- it stays under murky water during the night and surfaces at sunrise. besides the distinctive flowery-watery scent, there is a heavy powder of vanilla which kind of makes this almost too sweet. this is why, if you happen to be very sensitive to scents, it is better to spray just a little bit. overall it adheres to the skin pretty well- 4 hours, at least. the high lotus notes combine nicely with the vanilla, which if sparayed heavily can feel a bit overpowering. best time of the day to wear-morning color- white, pink,blue tinged pastels, mauve, light colors made of thin fabrics, natural textiles it assures the personality- adding a touch of something that is sweet, yelding, flexible, young, honest, strong willed, pure, noble and content. just like the lotus flower in buddhist imagery which symbolises the progress of the soul.

Probably the best Tesori d’Oriente. I don’t like it unconditionally because it’s quite strong and overpowering, I must be in the right mood to wear it otherwise it gives me a headache and makes me sick (might be the tuberose). It’s a femme fatale perfume in my opinion, luscious, sweet, oriental and sexy. Like other Tesori scents for example Orchidea della Cina it’s a distinctive and original scent and absolutely not a dupe nor a “remind me of” any other fragrances. I agree with the user below me who writes that if this perfume’s price were 200€ instead of 4€ everyone would praise it as a niche perfumery highlight. When I was a student I didn’t want to spend much money on perfumes and always used to wear Tesori d’Oriente. Cheap dupes were not a thing yet back then (00s). There were some (I had one of Armani Code) but they used to be quite bad. Well, anyway, I have never received so many compliments for my perfume as back then.

This is one of those fragrance from TDO that I've noticed lasts forever.And by forever,I mean forever.I had a sweater that I've worn a few months back and haven't washed until last week and the scent still is on the fabric.And it penetrates enough to go and stick on your under laying clothing. What I get is something like an aquatic coconut and not peach.I can't quite pin this scent.I don't know if it's suitable for winter or summer.Also it smells like I've smelt quite a lot on people which made me not use this that much. The scent is pretty much linear and has an arms length sillage (maybe stronger on the warmer months).Maybe it's the combo of lotus,sandalwood,vanilla and peach that gives it the coconut like smell for me. Be discreet when spraying this.A little bit goes a long way and you dont want to suffocate yourself and people around you when using this and it radiates quite strongly in the first few minutes to hours.

I've bought it last summer, but I made a mistake to use it in a heat wave, and even though i liked it, I was overwhelmed by the scent. So I put it on the shelf, and not reall crawing after that ever since. But lately because I'm bored with my frequently used favorites, I started to re-adjust my unused perfumes to my rotation. Just because it's colder months doesn't mean I only have to use gourmand or heavier fragrances. And this one works quite well in colder environments. It's a fresh fruity, kind of soapy scent with udistinctable white white flowers and musk. I can't really detect any rose or sandalwood. To be honest it smells like a nice detergent, but not in a bad way. It lasts and projects every bell, and maybe it's not my first thing to grab, but a nice change do spray on myself when I'm running erads. And dirty cheap for a hundred milliliter, i paid only five euro.

Quite unusual, extremely long-lasting, superb sillage. This is not everyone's cup of tea, you either love it or hate it. It is very popular and well known in Italy and this is where I first discovered it and fell in love with it. It is excellent value for money, much cheaper than other perfumes but it definitely doesnt smell cheap! It is heavy, oriental and sweet. It reminds me of Africa, hot nights and spices. It lingers and I get many many positive comments and I get asked what it is wherever I go. People were begging me to bring it for them from Italy. However,as I said, it is not for everybody. My mum cant stand it and I am sure there are lots of people out there who hate it because it is so heavy and sweet.

Honestly it's really good and perfectly unisex. I would say that it is a mature and more night suited perfume tho. I can definetely smell the orange the rose and the sandalwood/woodsy notes at the beginning and it's quite sharp, but when it starts to dry down a bit it gets softer, almost soap-like. I don't really get the peach and the vanilla but the lotus, the musk and the white flowers I absolutely do. It's deep and sophisticated. I wouldn't suggest it to someone in his 20s unless you have a bold personality that matches it or again, unless it's nighttime, but for someone a bit older it's perfect. Honestly for the price it's a 10.

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and experience these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if I don't want to, I'll spray them in the rooms... Tesori d'Oriente's Lotus Flower is a triumph of fruity fragrances, with peach prevailing over the whole blend. On dry down, a boises, musky, reassuring vanilla scent is talc. Crystal noir dupe by Versace

Smells amazing and expensive, while the actual price is ridiculuos! Very longlasting, but do not wear it in hot weather. The interesting thing is that lotus is somewhere in the background. It'd all about the peach, vanilla and tuberose. Definitely smells niche. Edit: I don't smell anything aquatic in this one. It's a very dense scent and it has that syrupy, sickly sweet peach that is in Rush by Gucci. There is no gardenie in Fior di loto, but the whole fragrance is built around fruity sweetness and narcotic white florals, it's very much in the same vein as Rush.

This is another little treasure by Tesori d’Oriente. It is a very comforting scent: sweet, creamy, powdery and, as other reviewers have mentioned, somewhat tropical. I don’t really smell lotus flower: to me, this is all about soft tuberose, vanilla and sandalwood, with some powdery overtones. Luckily I don’t smell the dreaded peach. After 3 hours or so, the sweet powdery notes evaporate and it morphs into Tesori d'Oriente's own White Musk. The sillage is soft, but it’s long lasting (6+ hours).

Not unlike Compagnia Delle Indie Indaco di Persia, Fior di Loto smells even stronger of fabric softener, an expensive one. Canned fruits and lotus are powerful, with an agreeable acetone touch, presumably from the peach preserve and white flowers accord. Very very nice on skin. Despite that persistent, sourish fabric softener canvas (less spritz is more), it’s original enough to become likeable. That must be that niche quality some Fragranticians mentioned in below reviews.

Usually I hate women's fragrances and I don't wear those, but this is a big exception. When I bought it in my vacation time in this summer I thought it was an unisex frag. I like this smell someway, I don't find it too sweet, flowery or feminine, it smells fresh and exotic to my nose, I enjoy enough:) It was very cheap, about 4 euros, the smell doesn't scream cheap, very pleasant, fresh creamy stuff which radiates moderately on my skin.

As a lover of oriental perfumes, I like this one a lot, but only as a scent. Sillage is moderate for the first hour, then turns into a skin scent and fades away completely in about 10 hours. So, almost nobody understands you're wearing perfume! But, maybe one couldn't expect better quality for such a low price. The scent itself is amazing though, especially for the first 30- 40 minutes!

I got this for less than $5 in Nigeria. Yes it's synthetic smelling but it's sooo beautiful. I get compliments everytime I wear it. This is one of my cheap going to the store can't be bothered just want to smell nice scent. Oh and it has a SILLAGE ! PEOPLE will definitely smell you from steps away. I love cheap hidden gems like this. I want more of something like this pls !!!

There is no lotus in the listed notes on Tesori's own site, so I have idea why they named it that. The notes above are correct except for the lotus flower, so once you think of it as a predominantly vanilla sandalwood with tropical accents, that's what I smell. Somehow the blend becomes coconutty, which I do not prefer. I was hoping for the vanilla sandalwood bomb.

Iso E Super bomb, thick ice tea peach powdery smell with the cleanliness note of tuberose. Feminine leaning opening, however it settles onto something musky-woody as the iso-e super supports the huge sillage of this fragrance. Edit: after wearing it again it reminds me of the smell of pure fresh clean ironed clothes. 👌🏼

The official notes from the Tesori website are these: Top Notes: Orange, Peach Middle Notes: Jasmine, Lilly of the valley, Tuberose Base Notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk I'll be adding the official notes to the other Tesori fragrances as well.

After a not so pleasant floral opening phase, there is a good product where the tuberose reigns. It is good but not among the best in the fashion house.

Peach cake with a hint of coconut. Yummy, sweet.

Like but not love it. For me it's a sweet warm scent like angel of mugler. Not very groundbreaking but for the low price it's ok. I will use the bottle up but will not purchase again. Longtivity is great with a moderate projection.

Smells a bit cheap and "empty". Disappears quickly. Not the best Tesori

The saving grace of this one is it's v cheap. Also I really like the Greek vase drawings on the can. But it begins DREADFULLY. It smells cheap, v synthetic n plasticky with no redeeming features. I think it's the lotus note itself that's gone wrong. Once it's dried down for an hour or so it's like a pound shop dupe for Burberry Woman, the peach musk comes through but it's still WRONG somehow. I only bought it for it's supposed similarity, but you may as well just get Burberry Woman off Ebay, this is quite distressingly horrid overall.

Imagine spraying full strength vanilla fabric conditioner on your skin. Imagine that fabric conditioner scent with a Godzilla sized sillage for nearly 4 hours around peeps that started having sneezing fits the moment you enter a kitchen where nothing has been cooked yet. I love the scent but it's too suffocating to be even used as a toilet spray.

I find this one a bit repulsive. It's like a strange combination between pungent and sweet. Ozonic-watery-flowery notes are blended a bit roughly with something sickening sweet, like coconut or milk candies. The result is very much not to my liking - too heavy.

This is tropical floral-fruity fragrance. Orange and peach are fresh, almost sour, and very prominent. It is surrounded by the flowers listed below them. There is some vanilla... all in all quite sweet and fruity. Very strong and long lasting.

A bit too heavy for my taste, but for it price is really long lasting and interesting smell.

I don't like it, it is too intense and smells like a cheap deodorant for men.

This is one of those perfumes I would smell very often when I was little but never knew what it was until a few years ago when I stumbled upon a lady in the subway who was wearing it so I stopped her to ask about it. This is a projection beast, it fills a room and you have to go easy on the nozzle because it can, and definitely does, get cloying especially in hot weather. To me it smells like creamy and very synthetic watery coconut, as someone else wrote it's hard to describe but I'm not bothered. Definitely not something I reach for as I'm into sweet bombs but when I'm in the mood for it I know people will smell me from miles away. MONSTROUS sillage, it beats 90% of my designer perfumes in terms of that!

Wow, wow, just wow! I've known this scent since I was little &I've been wearing it almost non-stop in the last few months, even at the gym! I can't get enough of it, it lasts long and has a powerful sillage. I read some reviews where people claimed it disappears quick, I think they're just nose blind or got a bad batch because this stuff is a monster and it's always been as far as I can remember.. Since it's very popular here in Italy I can 100 % assure you that every time someone wears it I can tell! A bit of a downside is that it becomes a bit nauseating in the heat so spray at your own risk!

I don`t think it`s too similar to 5th Avenue. There isn`t much lotus there either, barely any just to `lift` the fragrance in the beginning, but vanilla-peach-sandalwood and tuberose. It is sweet, but pleasant and uplifting, not cloying. The drydown is quite musky, but still sweet. I like the packaging - looks cheap, but still appealing. And the quality is actually quite surprising - lasts 4-5 hours easily without turning synthetic or cheap-smelling! It is a very pleasant surprise..I have to stock up - tried other scents from TDO also, and they are all hidden gems! Highly recommend.

I knew lotus oils and different variations of lotus-based sprays from small botanical shops in Italy , so I expected something on that manner, - meditative and misty. This fragrance is not aquatic or ozonic for sure, and its EXTREMELY sweet, creamy and strong. Its lush, loud, vanillic and fruit-like. You can smell something exotic underneath, flowery-grassy, which supposed to be "lotus" I bet. Its also tropical. I kinda like it. In my own way.

On first sample it felt massively suffocating - but this is usually my experience with sweet stuff, impression-wise. During the day I took myself sniffing the cap over and over again, spraying my clothes, until it began to make sense in the realm of my olfactory receptors, as the lactonic accords settled. It’s quite delicious and seems to have a place among my other tropical descending fragrances.

One of the best Tesori (with Byzantium). A beautiful cream, endless, soft, not aquatic at all (where is the lotus, I don’t know). But the milk effect, very sweet, a kind of vanilla-caramel-orange mix, is really something I enjoy, ant it is still on my clothes 3 days after, after one single spray! Get compliments. I prefer to wear it in fall.

For me it smells coazy and Cristmasy. The combination of the wood tones and fruits makes me feel like i'm drinking a fruit liqueur in a cabin in the woods. I smell some flowers but very soft. And in the dry down is very milky, sweet and powdery. I dont really see it on a men. But in the begining can be judged as unisex for sure.

No no and still no. I love opulent fragrances, which are felt, which leave the trail but this is ... No !! This Maison has given us other very pleasant and very welcome fragrances, this unfortunately is not one of them.
