Japanese Rituals

the initial spray wasn't what i was expecting, definitely. i thought it would be somewhat sharper and too fresh, since there's a lot of citrus notes in the opening. but actually the flowers featured in the opening gave it a fresh, almost aquatic nuance which prevented the citrus from being too overpowering. maybe it's because i was excited to try it, my heart started racing faster after i applied it (in a good way)! thankfully it doesn't give me men's cologne vibes. i think it takes about ten minutes for the rose note to be at least perceptible, then it grows in proportion. it's like watching a rose bloom in real time. the more it opens up, the more the rose scent gets lovely. i actually love the way the lemon notes mix with the rose, it prevents it from becoming too powdery which can happen with a lot of rose fragrances and that can make them smell “old”. i would say this rose is almost photorealistic, it's like sniffing one up close. taking a walk in a rose garden. sipping on a lemon beverage or on a lemon flavored tea (black tea or green tea), while a rose bouquet (mostly made of roses, but some other flowers are present as well) is sitting prettily on the chair across from you, it's a present from someone maybe, and the wind brings the rose scent to your nose while you're having your refreshing drink. definitely a spring/summer fragrance! but it could work during cold months, perhaps. i'm not really that picky when it comes to differentiating winter scents and summer scents. if i like something, i can wear it during all seasons despite of how appropriate it is for the weather. who said we have to wear heavy fragrance during winter and floral ones during summer only? as for the comparison with chloé, since i tested it before i can say it does remind me of it, it has the same vibe. it's certainly not the same fragrance, but i don't expect it to be. this is perfect the way it is. i'll give it 9/10 for now. it doesn't mean i wouldn't repurchase, though. this is very lovely. i feel like it's more complex than thalasso therapy and matcha, it makes me want to wear it outside more. it's good as an after shower fragrance but this has all the right qualities to be worn outside. it's inoffensive so it won't bother anyone, and it's just so delicate! clean girl vibes~ 🧼 it makes me think of the color pink, white. a simple person, someone who's soft, gentle, kind, always smiling wherever they go. this perfume has a personality. as for the "delicate" part, i would say this is much more detectable than thalasso and matcha. i don't mean that it leaves a trail (i think it does but very subtly), but it just feels like a more complex perfume compared to those two, if it makes sense. those two are more soapy and clean scents. this one also feels clean, but it has something more. it smells sophisticated. yes, that's it.

I don't know why I love this fragrance so much.It's so fresh and rosy!There's something about this which I adore.Something like a sour bubblegum or something.It just makes me happy. You get the citrus sour top notes then it turns into a nice fresh,rose note which lingers til later.I love to wear this alongside my beige trench coat for some reason.Staying power on clothes and sillage is really really good and it leaves a nice short scent trail too! I haven't tested this on the warmer temps but it's performance during the cold weather,I can say I'm impressed and I love it.

I've used to shower gel before but the smell is the same, I've also tested the spray in the store. The combination of peony and rose is lovely, and it's definitely dominating. It is sour, but not extactly citrus-sour, it's more like the sourness is coming from the rose. If you have crumpled up petals from a regular garden rose you might understand what I mean. To me, this smell is very sensual. I might actually invest in the spray.

A dominant pink rose note, highly fragrant and "fruity." It's a lovely early summer smell that's not pricey yet rewarding. It smells wonderful, especially the gardenia. It reminds me of Cartier's La Panthere Legere. It also has a fresh scent, smells contemporary, and appears to be far more costly than it is. Surprisingly extended lifespan. I strongly suggest it!

Blind bought this fragrance, thinking it will be on a more floral note just to be more pine and amber. The scenet itself reminded me of how my grandma used to smell when I was a kid :(. I bought the shower gel and this has to be their more unique scents, great value more leaning towards rainy autumn season.

This is my ultimate fave of all the Tesoris. Once you get past the initial blast of alcohol, this little one packs a freshness punch. Uplifting, great after shower, perfect for warmer days. Bought it the second time, hope they will never discontinue this.

The bottle is uplifting and cheerful, and the juice is very lovely. To me it is a citrusy rose, very likeable, nothing sharp in its dewy freshness. It reminds me to something by Yves Rocher, probably Moment de Bonheur which my Mother sometimes wears.

Very unique and classy! You can smell Tsubaki oil and peony, just as it's written on the bottle... It has some similar notes as Chloe Eau de Parfum (for women) :-)

This reminds me of the old Red Rooster soap that Lush used to have. (Not sure if they still do.) A non-sweet grapefruit rind with flowers. Likeable.

It's so much like Agent Provocateur with this Asian musky notes and the osmanthus. If only it stayed longer.

Reminds me so much of Chloe L'eau de Chloe (the green one). Love it!

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and live these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if I do not go I will spray them in the rooms ... Japanese Rituals by Tesori d'Oriente: cheerful, very sour, citrusy, fresh opening with juste pulvérisé, with dry a floral triumph emerges from the sour citrus notes forming an incredible and enveloping blend. The base notes become musky, reassuring. For the ridiculous price this olfactory experience is absolutely worth living. Very reminiscent of Chloé's L'Eau de Chloe.

Oh wow. This is very far from my usual scent profiles, but I find Japanese Rituals captivating. It smells rich and innocent, somehow fragile or evanescent even, but it still has fun, even if it is the joy of some softly sweetened lemonade soda (no sugar, only stevia) on a sunny afternoon. Some picnic and tennis in the company of the loveliest people, enjoying jokes, nothing troubling. 20 celsius, a silk coat, maybe even meeting someone promising for the first time or finding a new favorite place in the world. This scent is just so full of hope. Beautiful, really.

This is the second perfume i get form Tesori d'oriente. I have fior di loto too. I like this one since it's very feminine and sweet (but not too sweet and childish!) , reminds me of spring. I will use this one for those ''i'm not in the mood to use that $$$ perfume but i still want to smell nice'' kind of days. Like going out with your dogs or walk in the park with friends. It was soo cheap! i live in italy... i got this for 2.50€ DURING the inflation. 100ml

It's so nice, what a surprise! I tested it before reading anything about it. I smell a lot of gardenia. It reminds me of La Panthere Legere by Cartier. It also really does have something fresh and SPA - about it. Smells modern and way more expensive than it is. Suprisingly good longevity. I highly recommend it!

Really great reminder of Chloe, with dominating pink rose note, a very aromatic "fruity" one. Peony is listed (even mentioned on the label) but I sense rose. It's definitely a beautiful early summer scent, not expensive but rewarding.

Profumo molto carino, per il costo molto basso ha una resa davvero eccezionale. Ricorda tantissimo CHLOE' EAU DE TOILETTE, quindi chi ama il genere può andare sul sicuro. Molto fiorito e persistente, portabile anche la sera.

Profumo carino, da giorno, molto portabile. Mi ricorda tantissimo L'Acquarossa di Fendi che è fuori produzione, anche da un confronto della piramide olfattiva sono davvero simili!

Finally I've stocked 3 bottles of this beauty. Remindes me a lot of L'eau de Chloe, but much cheaper. It's a shame that you can't buy this during whole year. Love this.

I bought it based on the notes above which I really like, and I got a bit disappointed. It's not that it is a bad perfume but I expected it differently, plus, it is more masculine than unisex. All in all it is an OK perfume
