Matcha Green Tea

i was expecting it to be at least a little citrusy but it's not, not even a little bit (in a good way). the first spray is definitely cardamom, but it's also soapy. i don't exactly remember how matcha tea smells like since it's been years since i drank a cup of it, but this scent brings me in a room with old curtains, they're red and they have draperies. the windows are those tall, curved at the top ones, with gold borders, and just outside the window you can see a pot of roses. it's just peeking out, you can't tell how big the rose bouquet is. it just looks aesthetic. you're having a herbal tea in this type of room, maybe there's a newspaper on the table or even a typewriter. maybe a vase, but it's empty. you're just sipping on this tea while you're starting your day, you're having breakfast. or maybe you're relaxing after a long day. but it's not just an ordinary day, it's the day of a lady, of a mistress, one of those young girls whose hand is promised to a man already. it only takes like five minutes for the tea to come forward. the cardamom is completely gone. the tea note stays even as the fragrance dries down, but now that it's almost been an hour since i put it on, i can smell the flowers too. before it was more of a herbal tea, now it's like drinking a floral tea, with rose, osmanthus and maybe jasmine in it. a very calming tea. you just let go of all of your worries. it's really soapy now. makes me feel squeaky clean, ready for bed after drinking my tea, that kind of feeling. i wouldn't call it fresh. i don't feel refreshed after wearing it, i don't feel energised either. it doesn't give that vibe. it's just very clean and — i don't want to say it can be confused with body wash or shampoo or whatever. no. i think it's unfair to say that it's comparable to those body care products. it's so much more. it just smells like tea time. like the relaxation that tea time brings you. the feeling that you get when you drink tea. you immediately feel uplifted. it feels like you're on a cloud. it's not loud at all. it's so delicate no matter how many sprays you do. it's so good. it's a fragrance you want to wear for yourself. i believe it doesn't leave a trail because my room just faintly smells of it after i sprayed it. but it's lovely. i can smell it as i'm typing this though, but it's still very intimate. it lasted for 13 hours on me after sleeping with it on, in the heat of a ~30°C room without air conditioning. love it love it love it love it. it's definitely what i wanted it to be. 10/10. i would buy this one again!

This feels like smelling the experience of drinking and making tea, not realistic matcha note but it is BEAUTIFUL, i feel like im in a caffe with matcha served while eating some dessert, it's not gourmand but it's somehow so yummy to me Edit: Ive run out and I want to buy more in EU area, if anyone knows where please PM, one of my all time faves

I have owned some of Tesori d'Oriente fragrances in the past, Sandalo del Kashmir & Vetiver, which it was straightforward, pretty much Sandalwood scent. Legno di Guajaco was a miss for me, as I didn't enjoyed the scent. Royal Oud Dello Yemen; marzipan, that's it, marzipan not Oud. Not likeable. Recently I've recieved this Matcha Green Tea as a gift and this seems to be more complex than the others I have owned. The description from Tesori fits with the scent, this time for real. Fresh-spicy with sweet-tea-green bodynote and subtle woody notes. But as an added bonus, the backbone is the Musk which I can feel it quite well and adds a subtle/fleeting feeling to the fragrance. Potent sillage, with 5 towards 6 hours of longevity for me.

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and live these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if it goes I will spray them in the rooms ... Matcha Green Tea by Tesori d'Oriente is a very fresh fragrance that does not make the noise to anyone, hesperidate in the opening notes and for most of the olfactory experience, in the dry the green, aromatic notes are winning, in a lively blend full of lashing energy. Many say it's a dupe of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea.

underrated. so damn underrated. i want to say i love it but i only like it a lot. at first i was a bit put off by how just bitter it was although i love bitter smells. after 3 months it refined itself into a much soapier (in a good way) thing. also lost its synthetic feel in the process. its so long lasting on clothes i love that. it gives me a serious, determined vibe. lasts..4/5 hours on me i think? clean, serious scent. no matcha (matcha lover here) but tea. maybe you let it steep a bit too long

A very refreshing, clean tea scent. A bit more dense than Elizabeth Arden green tea

If you are looking for a realistic tea matcha smell skip this one. The tea note comes across like a green herbal vibe. I would say this is more neroli fragrance than a tea one because I can smell the neroli but I can't smell the tea unless I was told it is a tea fragrance. It smells very synthetic. It does not smell expensive. It got some old vibe about it. It is not a bad fragrance but you shouldn't expect much either. The projection is ok and the longevity is ok. I would even say that it's better than Elizabeth green tea in that regard. If you like tea fragrances it will be worth trying if you get it for less than 15 usd. I personly do mix it with 100BON tea and ginger... The combination is beautiful. But I would never wear this fragrance by itself in public. It smells to cheap for me to wear it in public while I got many fantastic fragrances. I hope this will help you make your mind in regard to this fragrance. Peace and Love!

I am a matcha expert and lover, therefore I looked everywhere to smell this perfume and I finally found it. It doesn’t smell like matcha at all. Not even like any green tea. Even if it doesn’t live up to it’s name, it’s still a beautiful scent. Not complex, but simple and likable. It smells soapy, a bit like citrus, a bit powdery, a bit like white flowers, a bit green. Overall, it smells like clean laundry.

To me this one is a more masculine alternative to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. They are both centered on tea but they are not the same. This one is more masculine to my nose because of the cardamom, bitter orange, matcha and the black pepper. Overspraying won't trigger anyone, I would argue it is actually needed.

I wanted to like this so much but unfortunately I don't get a lot of the matcha and green tea but the bergamot and the neroli with a bit of jasmine which reminds me of an 80s eau fraiche

Smells citrusy in the first couple of minutes, then soapy for another 2 minutes, tea like for a couple of hours.. And finally it leaves a hint of soapy freshnesh until it disappears.

doesn’t smell like matcha (haven’t found an accurate matcha scent yet). it’s a simple citrusy green blend, nothing special but pleasant and gives off a “clean” vibe :)
